Medina, Josiane January 2007 (has links)
ABSTRACT: The objective of the cues is to direct the learner's attention to the important information of the task, helping the learning-teaching process. Children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (TDC) present an uncoordinated and inaccurate behavior, which is evidenced in the performance of motor tasks as well as in the affective, social and school areas. The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of cues in the acquisition of Dive Roll by children with TDC. The MABC (HENDERSON e SUGDEN, 1992) was used to identify the children with TDC. The sample was composed by the following groups: typical development with cues (GDTD, n=6), typical development without cues (GDTS, n=8), TDC with cues (TDCD, n=8) and TDC without cues (TDCS, n=2). The interventional program to teach the Dive Roll was conducted in 7 classes during 3 weeks. The subjective evaluation and the evaluation by means of cinematic analysis of the movement were executed in three moments: before the interventional program (PRÉ), immediately after the end of the program (PÓS) and 14 days after the PÓS evaluation (RET). The cues used were: "push the ground", "place your hands as far as possible" and "chin on the chest". For the cinematic variables the ANOVA two-way (3x3) for repeated measures on the last factor was used, when a significant difference was found the Tukey's post hoc test was applied, for the data obtained in the subjective analysis the Kruskall-Wallis's and the Friedman's tests were applied, and when a difference was verified the Wilcoxon's test was used as post hoc. The significance level adopted was p<0,05. The results did not demonstrate significant difference among the groups in any of the analyzed variables. A significant difference was verified between PÓS and RET in the analysis of peak of the resulting velocity of CM (p<0,05) and between PRÉ and PÓS in the resulting displacement of CM (p<0,05). In the analysis of the grades obtained from the subjective evaluation a difference between PRÉ and PÓS (p<0,05) and a difference between PÓS and RET (p<0,05) were found. The results may conclude that the cues were not specific enough to generate significant modifications in the learning of RPP, due to the pattern of movement presented by the children and the complexity level of the task. Nevertheless, important modifications related to motor coordination in the movement could be verified.

Menezes, Pablo de Godoy January 2014 (has links)
This study aimed to determine the impact of four different approaches in teaching volleyball underneath serve. The motor performance was evaluated over the period of acquisition, retention and transfer. The sample was composed of 60 children aged between 10 and 11 years distributed in four groups according to the type of feedback, positive social-comparison – FNP and Knowledge of Results – CR with different foci of attention on the task prior instruction (external focus of attention or internal focus of attention), so the groups were designated FAE-FNP, FNP-FAI, CR-FAE and CR-FAE. Subgroups were formed to assess the specific variables, types of feedback (FNP x CR) and types of focus of attention in instruction (FAE x FAI). To evaluate the children was used two tools, the first, a circular target located at the center of the court assessing the accuracy and, second, the evaluation of the movement across filming of the executions using a list of motor check (MEIRA JUNIOR, 1999 and 2003) to check the movement patterns during the intervention. The experiment consisted of four phases: entrance test (10 trials), acquisition phase (100 trials), the retention test (10 trials) and transfer test (10 trials). The results, relating to the precision of target and the serve pattern of movement, showed no significant difference between groups in both the acquisition phase and in the retention and transfer tests. However, the descriptive trends are worthy of closer examination: (1) the group FNP-FAE showed better performance both in the acquisition phase and in the retention and transfer tests; (2) subgroups with FNP had advantages in almost all evaluations, only the movement variable no differences, (3) the FAE subgroups showed advantages in all evaluations performed. Moreover, the FAE subgroup showed statistically significant advantages in accuracy of the task and the sum (accuracy + motion) in the transfer test, and the pattern of movement during the retention test.

Recomendamos assim a adoção do programa perceptivomotor aplicado à habilidade nadar, na fase de aperfeiçoamento, utilizando estratégias cinestésicas com materiais auxiliares (luvas de látex e vaselina) / Abstract: The comprehension of this phenomenon is understood by the expression F eel for the water (Counsilman, 1980; Maglislho, 1982; Sharp, 1982; Coyle, 1984; Costill, 1985; Neufer, 1987; Navarro, 1990 and Maglislho, 1993). This study has as aim verify the contribution that a perceptive-motor programme may ofIer to the swimming ability and in this way propose a work strategy, in the improvement phase, thet gets the individual to use segments with movement economy. The subjects was analysed of 13-15 years old female and male in provement phase. Aplication Group (AG, n=22) with motor-perceptive programme swimming skill (Schmidt, 1993) and Control Group (GC, n=16). The test was 15-meters (Brito e Pinto, 1999) and the statistical treatment was average, standard deviation and t-Student's with p<0.05. At the end of the programme it was vehfied thet the Stroke Length (SL) evoled about 3.08%, Velocity speed (V) in 2.94% and to the Stroke Index (SI) in 5.97% in the female of the Aplication Group (AG). In the male of AG it was observed rise of 5.56% to SL na to the V of 7.77% and SI in 13.16%. In the female of the Control Group (CG) there was na increase in the V of 12.22%, however, a worsening of 5% to the SL and reduction of 3.75% in the SI. In the male CG the V increased 2.04% and the SL reduced about 12.16% and the SI about 10.81 %. After the result analysis we verified a tendency in the contribution of the perceptive-motor programme applied to the performance of the swimmers. The results observed in the variable of behaviour biomecanic, seems to indicate approval of the proposal application, even though don't having significant difIerences statistically. Hence, we pedagogy applied to the learning of the swimming. We recommend, thus, the adoption of the percetive-mootr programme applied to the ability of swimming in the improvement phase, using kinesthetic strategies with subjects (latex gloves and vaseline) / Mestrado / Ciencias do Esporte / Mestre em Educação

Orientador : Silvana Venancio / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação Fisica / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-02T21:15:54Z (GMT). This thesis is based on a reflection about a teaching strategy that was utilized in Children's Physical Education classes and denominated by the researcher as "Symbolic Experience." This strategy consists in guiding the students through the experience of a story, in which they accomplish significant motoric movements within the context that they are inserted while the teacher acts to facilitate and orient the process. Three strongly interrelated topics are presented: Motor Activity, Symbolism and Play, which serve as a basis for the formulation of the problem that guides the study. Is offering the possibility to manifest Motor Activity, Symbolism and Play relevant educational practice within children's physical education classes? This study attempts to respond to this question. The elaboration of a broader objective was necessary in order to conduct the investigation: to analyze the manifestation of Motor activity, Symbolism and Play in Children's Physical Education classes starting from the symbolic experiences. To make this analysis, the works of several authors who could provide theoretical foundations for the topics studied were examined: Piaget and Winnicott to provide a basis for the construction of the Symbol; Freire and Marcellino to justify the importance of Play in school; and Sérgio, Moreira, and Trigo to establish the principies related to the Science of Motor Activity. From these theories, principies present in relation to each topic were raised and interrelated to the everyday life of children in school and to the interpretive commentaries concerning the symbolic experiences developed. An exploratory study was utilized starting from the field diary of the researcher's participant observations. In making the analysis, it was possible through the interpretive commentaries to present the manifestations of Motor Activity, Symbolism and Play as important elements in child development, which allow for the children's psychological adaptation to the outside world. It was concluded that such manifestations should be present in educational practice, especially within Physical Education / Mestrado / Mestre em Educação Física

The goal of this study was to investigate the effect of different visual cues in the swim crawl learning to deaf students. Twenty two students of both sex, between 10 and 17 years of age participate of the study. The research involved two experimental groups (G 1 = cues through model and G2 = cues through figure and model) and three phases (pre-test, learning, and post-test). In both tests the groups were filmed and evaluated by "Crawl Swimming Evaluation Instrument". Movement pattem (swimming crawl), distance covered, and quantity of stop was used as measure af learning. The results of the intragroup analyses showed that both groups bettered the movement pattem of the pre to post-test (p<O.05). The intergroup analyses did not show significant difference between groups in the pre test (p>O.05), however it shown difference between groups in the components two and three of the movement pattem (p<O.05) in the post-test, indicating superiority for cues in the figure and model group. This results are discussed in tenns of the cues in both aspects (figure and model) to possibility additional infonnation in relation to cues only in the model.
