Mano tapybos objektu tapo trys moteriškosios linijos kartos penkios herojės: aš, mama, dvi tetos, močiutė. Savęs kaip moters suvokimas, moteriškumo ieškojimas, savo tapatumo pagrindo kūrimas sąmonėje nulėmė būtent moterų giminės linijos pasirinkimą. Čia siekiama suteikti moteriškumui naują pavidalą, paremtą moterų patirtimi ir padėsiantį joms įprasminti save ir savo troškimus. Išnyrančius veidų fragmentus dengia tapetai, kurie simbolizuoja laiko tėkmę. Jų atsikartojimas darbuose primena apie uždarą laiko ciklą. Tapetų motyvai slepia tam tikrą moters gyvenimo etapą. Nors gyvena dabartyje, tačiau pro tapetus išnyrantys veidai byloja daug asmeniškų dalykų: kraujo giminės, stiprų šeimos ryšį. Kūrybinių darbų kolekcijos tapybinės savybės, motyvų traktavimas aiškiai mane atskiria nuo ekspresyvios tapysenos. Vaizduose dominuoja tapybinė precizija, šviesos – šešėlio žaismas, plokštumos – apimties derinys. Paveiksluose nėra „tapybinės ekstazės“ iškrovos: visos kūrinio dalys, jų kompozicinė dermė iš anksto apgalvota. Portretai komponuojami taip, kad būtų arti pritraukiamas žiūrovas. Tapydama juos su fizinėmis, apšvietimo, faktūrų savybėmis, priartinu prie realistinio vaizdavimo. / My object of painting became five heroes of three female generations: me, my mother, my two aunts, my grandmother. Perception of oneself as a woman, search of femininity, laying the foundation of one’s identity in one’s consciousness have determined the choice of female continuity. In paintings accents are put in such a way, so it would be obvious, that one woman transforms another’s heritage. Here it is wanted to give femininity a new form, based on women’s experiences and helping them give a sense to themselves and their dreams. Surfacing face fragments are covered with wallpapers that symbolise the flow of time. Their repetition in paintings reminds of closed cycle of time. Wallpaper motives hide a certain line of woman’s life. Even though it lives in present, faces surfacing through the wallpapers tell a lot of intimate things: strong family, blood relation. Creative properties of painting collection, approach of motives clearly separates me from expressive painting. Images dominate with painting precision, lights – play of a shadow, planes – size combination. There is no discharge of “painting ecstasy” in the paintings: all parts of creation, their positional harmonisation is considered in advance. Portraits are composed in such a way, that the spectator is closely attracted. Painting them with physical, lighting, facture properties I zoom in on the realistic depiction.

Magistro darbo objektas - netradicinių, rankų darbo įrišimo knygų-objektų grupė „City Book“, kuria siekiama plėtoti senąsias knygų įrišimo technikas, paskatinti šiuolaikinius, nuo skaitmeninių technologijų vis labiau priklausomus žmones, prisiminti jau primirštą knygą ir skaitymą, kaip dvasinį ir kultūros paveldo šaltinį. Magistro darbą sudaro dvi: teorinė ir praktinė dalys. Pirmajame skyriuje pateikiama susisteminta rašto atsiradimo ir vystymosi chronologija. Aprašoma knygos raida. Nagrinėjamas knygos statusas šiuolaikinėje skaitmeninėje eroje. Antrajame skyriuje pateikiama glausta knygrišybos istorinė apžvalga. Analizuojama knygų įrišimo raida ir metodai. Plačiau aprašomas itališkasis knygų įrišimo būdas. Pateikiama knygrišystės vystymosi istorija Lietuvoje. Trečiame darbo skyriuje pateikiamos lietuvių ir užsienio menininkų kūrybinės interpretacijos knygos-objekto tema. Analizuojami šiuolaikinių dizainerių darbai, vizualiai atspindintys pasirinktą tematiką. Ketvirtajame skyriuje pateikiama anketinė apklausa, kuria siekiama išsiaiškinti šiuolaikinio žmogaus požiūrį į klasikinę ir skaitmeninę knygas, bei skaitymą. Penktame skyriuje pateikiama kolekcijos koncepcijos analizė, pristatomos netradicinės knygų grupės-objekto meninio ir technologinio sprendimo paieškos, projektavimo etapai, galutiniai projektai, vykdymo eiga. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The subject of the master’s thesis is the ”City Book”, a group of non-traditional handbound books-objects, which aims to develop the old bookbinding techniques, encourage modern people increasingly dependent on digital technology to remember forgotten books and reading as a spiritual and cultural resource of heritage. The master’s paper consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The first chapter provides a systematic chronology of script occurrence and its development. It describes the development of the book. Also the status of the book in today’s digital era is discussed. The second chapter provides a brief historical overview of bookbinding. It analyzes the evolution and methods of bookbinding. The Italian method of bookbinding is described more broadly. The history of the development of bookbinding in Lithuania is also provided. The third chapter presents the creative interpretations of Lithuanian and foreign artists on the topic of the book-object. Works of contemporary designers, visually reflecting the chosen topic, are analyzed. The fourth chapter presents a questionnaire aimed to establish the approach of the modern human to classical and digital books and reading. The fifth chapter provides an analysis of the concept of the collection, presents non-traditional searches of the creative and technology solution of a group of books-object, the design stages, the final projects and the execution speed. Teorinėje darbo dalyje aptariama XX a. pabaigoje atsiradusi fraktalaus meno šaka, pagrindiniai virtualios kompozicijos principai. Abstrakcijos – tarsi sapno detalė, gyvenimo motyvai, troškimai, tragedijos. Minima hermeneutinė filosofijos kyptis, kuri siejasi su kūrybinės kolekcijos estetikos koncepsija. Nagrinėjama ženklo ir simbolio samprata. Simbolikos naudojimas meninėje raiškoje – vienas metodų patraukti stebėtojo pasąmonės galias reikiama kryptimi. Kitoje darbo skiltyje analizuojami kompiuterine grafika užsiimančių menininkų vizualūs projektai. Atveriama vizualioji kūryba interpretacijoje. Stebint ją galima identifikuoti save, užuominos ir jų tarpusavio priklausomybė padeda atrasti objekto tapatybę. Siekiniai, idėjos, autoriui tampa svarbūs, kai jie atitinka egzistencines nuostatas, tapatumo paieškas nefiguratyviuose vaizdiniuose. Apbendrinama su „Egle žalčių karaliene“ susijusi literatūra. Pasakoje apie žalčio žmoną pastebimas sakmiškas pradas, kuris siejasi su archaiškų padavimų vystimu. Atskleidžiamas šeimos, genties – svečio santykis, gyvybės paslaptis, jos galia, „kitataučio“ netolerancija, dorovinis pasaulėžiūrų konfliktas, ištikimybės ir aukos ryšys (dvasinis ir moralinis žmogaus išbandymas). Paskutinėje darbo dalyje aprašoma asmeninė kūrybinė kolekcija. Aiškinama darbų prasmė, pasitelkiant spalvas, geometrines ar nefiguratyvias formas, dėmes, ritmiką. / In the theoretical part of the work, the branch of fractal art, which emerged at the end of the 20th century, and the main principles of composition are discussed. Abstractions are like elements of dreams, motifs of life, desires, and tragedies. The philosophical trend of hermeneutics is mentioned, which is related to the esthetic concept of the creative collection. The concept of sign and symbol is examined. The use of symbolism in artistic expression is one method of pulling the unconscious powers of the observer in a desired direction. In the next section of the work, visual projects of artists who use computer graphics are analyzed. The visual creation is opened in the interpretation. When observing it, one can identify oneself; hints and their interdependence helps to find the identity of the object. Objectives and ideas become important to the author when they correspond to existential attitudes and the search for identity in abstract images. Literature related to “Egle - The Queen of Serpents Man” is summarized. In the tale about the wife of serpent, a rudiment of sagas is found, which is related to an archaic development of stories. The following concepts are revealed: the relation of family, tribe and guest, the secret of life and its power, intolerance of the “foreigner”, moral conflict of different worldviews, and the relation between loyalty and sacrifice (the spiritual and moral challenge). In 1995 an Aesthetics and Arts Criticism substrand was included in The Arts Curriculum and Standards Framework document for schools in Victoria, Australia. The researcher believed that in order to implement the new curriculum requirements and cope with the complexities that accompanied the emergence of postmodern art, teachers would need to alter their practice and find strategies for encouraging greater student participation and critical thinking in art room discussions. Master of Philosophy / This thesis investigates the work of Morris Louis (1912-1962) in relation to ‘opticality’, a theory developed by the prominent American art critic Clement Greenberg. Between the late 1930s and 1950s, Greenberg developed a comprehensive argument concerning the opticality, or the optical illusion, of abstract painting. This theory influenced common approaches towards Abstract Expressionist painting during the 1940s and 1950s, culminating in Greenberg’s writing on ‘Colourfield’ painting in major texts of the 1960s such as ‘Louis and Noland’ (1960). Through research into the development of Morris Louis’ technique, including several of his major series as well as lesser known works, this thesis argues that our understanding of Louis’ work has been constricted by a narrow perception of the opticality of his 'stain' paintings, and explores Louis' technique in light of alternative interpretations of his work.
