Plánování nástupnictví v organizaci / Succession Planning in the Organization

The master's thesis is about succession planning in the organization. The theoretical part is focused on defining basic principles of succession planning and describes related areas of personal work. Then it discusses the influence and importance of succession planning and its implementation in the organization. The next part of the thesis provides information about approach to succession planning of companies in the Czech Republic based on questionnaire research. The practical part of the thesis introduces Kooperativa pojišťovna a.s. and analyses its system of succession planning. The thesis suggests opportunities for improvement of this system based on theoretical findings and approaches of other companies.

Darbo objektas: Alytaus sporto klubų darbuotojų įvertinimo ir mokymosi ryšys. Tyrimo problema: žinant darbuotojų veiklos vertinimo svarbą ir būtinumą mokytis, kad organizacija efektyviai konkuruotų rinkoje, atskleisti, kaip sporto klubų darbuotojų įvertinimas susijęs su jų mokymusi. Darbo tikslas: Nustatyti Alytaus sporto klubų darbuotojų įvertinimo ir mokymosi ryšį. Darbo uždaviniai: 1) Atskleisti mokymosi sampratos esmines charakteristikas ir išskirti besimokančios organizacijos esminius bruožus. 2) Apibrėžti darbuotojų veiklos vertinimo sampratą ir išskirti vertinimo funkcijos metodų privalumus ir trūkumus. 3) Nustatyti ir išanalizuoti Alytaus sporto klubų darbuotojų veiklos vertinimą. 4) Nustatyti Alytaus sporto klubų darbuotojų esminius mokymosi bruožus. 5) Atskleisti Alytaus sporto klubų darbuotojų įvertinimo ir mokymosi ryšį, pateikti jo praktinį modelį. Darbe iškeltos hipotezės: • komandiniai darbuotojų vertinimo metodai daro didesnę įtaką organizacijos mokymuisi nei individualūs vertinimo metodai. • komandiniai vertinimo metodai daro didesnę įtaką organizacijos mokymuisi nei kiti mokymąsi skatinantys veiksniai. Systém hodnocení zaměstnanců v organizaci / The system of employee appraisal in the company

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze the employee appraisal system in a particular company by comparing its practical application with a theoretical knowledge and consequently to assess the findings and propose the possible changes, which might improve the effectiveness of the company's appraisal system. This diploma thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the information about the meaning and purpose of the employee appraisal system, about the employee performance management and its connection to the employee appraisal system, the relation between the appraisal system and the employee reward and development system. Furthermore, it discusses the areas of the employee assessment, its methods and processes. The practical part of this thesis describes the observed company and the analysis of the appraisal system applied in the company. The analysis is conducted in the three steps -- the first step is the analysis of the current assessment system and its comparison with the general theoretical principles. The second step is the interview with the company's managing and operational employees to identify their level of satisfaction with the current appraisal system used in the company. In the last step results of the analysis are listed including identified strengths and weaknesses of the current system and the recommendations are proposed for future actions.

The thesis is dealing with the system of assessment of employees in a firm developing and producing trailer towing devices. The aim of this thesis is to suggest optimization arrangements and eventually recommodations for the improvement of this area of the company's human resource management. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes the question of work motivation, system of assessment of employees, allocation of manpower, remuneration and further training and development of employees. The practical part of the thesis characterizes these areas of the personnel work in the company. Empirical research then discovers attitude of the employees towards the company's system of assessment. Results of the questionnaire examination are used for suggestion of optimization arrangements for the improvement of the system of assessment and strengthen work motivation and satisfaction of the company's employees.

The goal of this master thesis is to summarise the theoretical knowledge and subsequently analyse the so-called Assessment Centre, a modern methodology used for recruitment of employees out of a larger pool of applicants. A unified approach to the recruitment process has been developed based on the results of this analysis The analysis includes a detailed insight into the preparation and the course of the Assessment Centre, a competency assessment of the committee members, assessment of the job description, job requirements and selection criteria and an analysis of satisfaction of the applicants themselves. The analysis was conducted on two workplaces of the Insurance Company "XY", with each of them having a different approach towards the assessment centre. Free as well as partially standardised observations were used as a methodological background for the assessment centre analysis. The assessment of satisfaction of the AC participants was conducted with the help of questionnaires.

The aim of this dissertation is in terms of theoretical knowledge that will be delimitated in the first part of this dissertation and consecutive analyse of present situation of a firm in the second part of my dissertation to propose such a system of rewarding that is going to contribute to bigger satisfaction and better job participation of employees and so to raise productivity of a firm.
