Nas últimas décadas alguns países vêm implementando projetos de recuperação ambiental com a finalidade de reintegrá-los à dinâmica urbana com novas funções. Para o desenvolvimento do tema, neste trabalho foi escolhido o termo entrave espacial para ser utilizado com o mesmo significado de brownfield. Neste contexto, aterros de resíduos sólidos desativados são brownfields / entraves espaciais, porque provocam descontinuidades urbanas e dificultam o uso mais eficiente do espaço quando atingidos pelo crescimento urbano desordenado de um município, mas que podem ter seu reuso antecipado se procedimentos técnicos de controle e recuperação ambiental e algumas adequações forem efetivados visando antecipar apropriação dessas áreas para uso público. Essa pesquisa investiga as condições atuais dos brownfields / entraves espaciais, caracterizados por aterros desativados operados pela Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo, a partir da década de 70, analisa as condicionantes de risco ambientais para a utilização pós-encerramento, os interesses do poder público e da população local na refuncionalização da área do Aterro Desativado de Vila Albertina, constatando que está previsto a recuperação ambiental e implantação de parques em áreas de aterros desativados nos próximos anos através da atuação conjunta de poder público e empreendedores privados. / Abstract: Brownfields are abandoned or underused pieces of space, resulting from the shut down of damaged and/or contaminated enterprises. During the last decades, some countries have implemented projects concerning the environmental recovery, aiming to get their reintegration to the urban dynamics through new functions. For the development of the theme, in this issue, the term space impediment was chosen to be used with the same meaning as brownfield. So, in this context, urban solid residues landfills are meant brownfields / space impediment because they provoke urban discontinuity and make it difficult, the more effective pieces of land usage when they are reached by a disorganized municipal growth, although they may get their anticipate reutilization if, technical procedures, regarding environmental recovery and control, as well as some adequacy, are put into effect aiming the anticipation of these areas appropriation for public usage. This research investigates the current brownfields/space impediment conditions, characterized by discontinued landfills ruled by the Municipality of São Paulo Town Hall , starting from the 70's decade, analyses the conditioning environmental risks for the after-closing utilization, the public service and local population interests with reference to the the Vila Albertina discontinued landfill, by establishing that it is foreseen, both, the environmental recovery and implantation of parks inside discontinued landfill areas, within the next years throughout a joint action involving public authorities and private entrepreneurs. / Doutor

The dissertation analyses the situation of brownfields in the region of Vysočina, Czech Republic, assesses the state of brownfields and outlines possible future development. The work contains of seven chapters and is directed at three basic stages. The contents of the first stage is identification and character of environmental limits. The second stage is the analysis of negative features and burdens causing a direct health threat in the monitored area. The third, final stage of this work is a sociological survey focused on perception and evaluation of brownfield sites by local community in this area. The output of these analysises are tables and graphical diagrams, which summarize the data obtained in the research.

Podstatou diplomové práce je aplikovat teoretické poznatky vícekriteriálního rozhodování na praktický problém z oblasti mezinárodního obchodu, týkající se výběru vhodné lokality na území České republiky pro umístění přímé zahraniční investice. K nalezení nejlepšího kraje, jak z hlediska investičních tak všeobecných kritérií, byly v první fázi výpočtu využity metody vícekriteriální analýzy, poskytující podklady pro aplikaci dopravních problémů, tvořících druhou a konečnou výpočetní etapu.

The diploma thesis evaluates an approach of the Czech Republic in the reutilization of brownfields, particularly since 2005, when the significant steps in this field were realized. Specific activities performed in this field, mainly basic documents and instruments for regeneration and reutilization of brownfields, are described and evaluated in this diploma thesis. The analytical part is concerned with the approach of the Central Bohemia Region to reutilization of brownfields. It is described in detail, which steps are taken by region in these questions. The approach of particular municipalities in region is evaluated as well. The approach of these authorities is analyzed on the basis of evaluation of questionnaires and subsequently processed by means of SWOT analysis.

This diploma thesis deals with the determination of the profit and loss statement and the subsequent creation of the project cash flows and the evaluation of the economic efficiency of the administrative building project using criteria based on the time value of money. The theoretical part deals with problems of development projects and their evaluation as well as general description of brownfields. The practical part is elaborated on two thematic issues, it is a presentation of brownfields on the territory of the city of Brno and the second is the evaluation of a specific brownfield project.

The master thesis deals with a proposal to revitalize the former lignite mine in Kyjov, Czech Republic, which belongs to a brownfield sites. The goal is to propose possible use of the area, which is currently largely without effective utilization. I have divided the monitored area to four locations, due to the size of area. Every location has got different proposed use. In each location will be evaluated the new usage due to their surroundings and its possibilities. At the end, evaluation of the entire project is done.

Brownfields are one of the unfavorable parts of industrial heritage that developed from 18th to 20th century. Brownfields are very different and in most cases they have negative impact on the environment. Crucial for this thesis were brownfields with certain level of contaminations. The site of a former refinery of mineral oils OSTRAMO, which represents ecological burden, is a brownfield that can threaten the environment in all its compartments. This was the reason why OSTRAMO was selected for this thesis. The goal of this thesis was to evaluation of ecotoxicological effects of contaminated samples taken from the location via ecotoxicity testing in aquatic and contact arrangement. The result of each test confirmed expected negative impact of the samples from the location of former rafinery on testing organisms.

Diploma thesis solve a block of houses in neighbourhood town avenue Cejl and city heat station in the area of the firm BMT Technology which is partially unused. The project attempt to bring necessary missing urbanity in the area. It means safety, communication and representation urban environment. With the aid of the mass and its use the private and public spaces and its are explicitly defined.
