O gênero e a ciência da saúde: produção em torno da transexualidade no Portal de pesquisa da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde / Gender and \"science\" in health: scientific production over transsexuality on Virtual Health Library Search Portal (VHL)

Carvalho, Diego Sousa de 03 November 2014 (has links)
This work has been written over bibliographic revision over Virtual Health Library Search Portal (VHL) database, trough specifical book markings on transsexuality research. Scientific production will be critically discussed in order to explore which ways health institution in a theorical corpus reflects its practices, under which perspectives it has been thinking e describing the transsexuality phenomenon, if in the field of illness and the interventions over it, or seeing possibilities in human care field, articulating arguments of a social standpoint. Considering that the genealogy of transsexuality is directly linked to a clinical institution, its institution as a nosological category reflects directly on the implementation of new subjective aspects in the field of gender, and constantly it requires thinking about how are the strategies of analysis on this theme, and if, as a clinical category, sensitive mechanisms of comprehension have been thought for beyond the pathological bias.

Estudo epidemiológico de saúde bucal em crianças de 12 anos de idade, Quito, Equador: relação entre gengivite e fatores associados / Epidemiological survey of oral health in 12-year-old children, Quito, Ecuador: study of gingivitis

Vega, Marco Vinicio Medina 07 December 2018 (has links)
The objective of this study was to examine the prevalence of gingival bleeding and dental calculus among 12-year-old students enrolled in public schools in the urban zone of Quito (Ecuador). Saúde mental e trabalho: metassíntese da produção acadêmica no contexto da pós-graduação brasileira / Mental health and work: metasynthesis of the academic production in the Brazilian postgraduate

Bastos, Juliano Almeida 28 November 2014 (has links)
It's search metasynthesis type, in order to know, describe and analyze the academic literature in the Mental health and work area in the context of Brazilian postgraduate. Developed in five phases: Exploration, Refining, Crossing, Description and Analysis. With the first takes place cataloging of all the documents present in the files of theses and dissertations of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES and the Virtual Health Library - Psychology - BVS-PSI from 10 search descriptors considered representative area in the literature. In the second phase, it is found among the documents found in the previous phase, which are related to the area, by reading the title, abstract and keywords of these. In the third phase is carried out a comparative analysis in order to eliminate duplicate documents. The fourth phase describes all documents according to type: thesis or dissertation; the historical ranking; area of knowledge; geographical disposition and institutional origin. In the last phase analyzes the contents of the descriptor located 16 theses Mental health and work, the most representative among those used in the previous phases. This phase identifies the following categories: history, social demands, public policy, epistemology, method and theory. The results indicate that mental health and work has its largest production, 84% under the master; in 1989 was located first thesis; between the years 2000 to 2012 88% of the documents were produced; predominance of studies related to psychology, 56% occurs; the southeast region has 46% of production; São Paulo accounts for 30%; production is 46 IES, being USP, UFRJ, UFRGS, UNB and the UFMG that most produce. There is even those produced studies respond to historically situated social demands; the relationship with the public policies is a challenge in view of the finding that the state should protect the work also has become precarious; the field of Occupational Health underlies the area; distinct methodological strategies and theoretical frameworks are used in studies. It is concluded that the adoption of an ethnographic approach as a method and an integrative approach as theoretical framework, the results achieved can convert into practical action in favor of labor, the fundamental premise of the area, given its epistemological assumptions. In this context, the researcher is involved turning their efforts to politically coherent performance with the field of Occupational Health.

The study followed a descriptive-qualitative approach using the Systematic Review of the Literature as a data collection method, introspective technique based on "Thinking Aloud" on Single Verbal Protocol mode and also a semi-structured interview. We identified one hundred ninety-five characteristics, skills and/or specific core competencies of the eight Multiple Intelligences established and potential correlations with the Information Literacy model, as evidenced by the gaps between both competencies. It might be inferred that the noticed correlation between skills and/or cognitive skills that set and characterize the Multiple Intelligences and Information Literacy is evident, in general on action verbs, which also characterize the core concept of each intelligence or competence. Thus, it may be argued that these action verbs are equally important to define processes and contents of information training programs for users/learners, leading to both skills intellectual and informational and potentially contributing to learning along the whole life. Some applications already existing in literature or implemented in practice were found, as well as new action suggestions were pointed out to be implemented by information professionals, whatever their professional environment, which is one of the contributions of this study, with special emphasis on the improvement of information training programs for users/learners within or outside the school or academic sphere. As results of the Systematic Review of the Literature, there were been analyzed thirty-nine publications, seven articles being considered relevant, emphasising on empirical research reported in them. And, as results of application of the Verbal Individual and semi-structured interview, it was obtained the characterization of the users/learners who participating in the empirical research, the identification of the manifestations of Multiple Intelligences of users/learners in interaction with VHL DIP and the analysis of perceptions and competencies required by these users when they were using this source of information. It can be highlighted the relevance of Information Literacy and Intelligence for Health, since they can contribute to health promotion, to health literacy and life quality. Likewise, it can be concluded that the stimulus to the development of intelligence lead to Information Literacy development, as the same way as the encouragement of Information Literacy contribute to the development of Multiple Intelligences, which again shows the reciprocal relationship between both competencies and skills cognitive and informational / O presente estudo objetivou correlacionar competências intelectuais que compõem as Inteligências Múltiplas com competências informacionais do modelo de Competência em Informação, no uso da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde de Doenças Infecciosas e Parasitárias (BVS DIP) por usuários leigos, entendidos nesta pesquisa como usuários/aprendizes.
