Diploma thesis is about development of program application for management maintenance of fixed assets for the companies ESOX, spol. s.r.o. and ESOX-PLAST s.r.o. In the first part of the work are mentioned theoretical backgrounds which where used to create diploma thesis. Further in the work there is evaluated the current situation of companies and also current situation of the solved problem. It follows by the creation of the application which single parts are described in the diploma thesis. At the conclusion there are summarized benefits of the program application and its assessment from an economic perspective.

This work deals with the assessment of the company's information system in real business environment, consider the advantages, disadvantages and risks of introducing information systems. Theoretical basis of this work explain the basic concepts relating to information systems analysis, especially terminology, analysis and trends. In the next chapter is described in detail the company and primary object is to assess information system of company based on strategic analysis and to suggest improvements of current state of information systems and technologies in described company.

This master´s theis deals design and implementation of Business Intelligence the company of Click Credit s.r.o. The main task within the BI integration services to design and create a central register of delinquent clients which ensure data are fully consistent and could by used for futrher analysis. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical foundations of integration and analytical services. In the second part of the thesis is analysis of the current situation and solution proposal.

This diploma thesis proposes usage of Business Intelligence tools in the chosen company. It considers the costs for installing, assesses the economic benefits and based on the analysis, it proposes appropriate solutions to the currently unsatisfactory situation in the company.

An important part of knowledge of report creator is knowledge of database schema and database query language, from which the data for report are extracted. In the reporting services for database systems and Business Intelligence systems initiative arises to separate the position of database specialist from the position of reports maker. One of the solutions offers using metadata interlayer between the database schema and report. This interlayer is called the report model. Its use is not currently supported in the process of reporting, or is only very limited. The aim of this thesis is to suggest the possibility of using the report model in the process of building reports with an emphasis on the OLAP analysis.

This master´s thesis deals with designing a web application for the purpose of providing management with requested financial information. In the theoretical part are explanations of targets, methods, and principles of databases, information systems, programing in PHP, Nette Framework, definition of Business Intelligence, financial data followed by an analysis of the current state of the company's finances. The practical part describes the development of the application and it's usage. This thesis then concludes with an economic evaluation of the designed application.

This master´s thesis deals with critical factors of management information systems implementation. In first part its describing the present state of the topic, defines the basic terminology, clarifies theoretical background and determines how to understand to a concept of management information systems. In next part is survey of current business intelligence solutions of three leaders of the world market and its detailed comparison, description of their basic properties their advantages and disadvantages. In Conclusion is detailed description of platform Tableau, its practical application, example of implementation, critical succes factors and benefits of its use in companies.

Application Performance Monitoring (APM) används i allt större utsträckning för att samla in data om mjukvarusystems prestanda och om hur användare interagerar med systemen. Detta för att säkerställa tillgänglighet och robusthet samt förbättra slutanvändarupplevelser. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur införandet av APM kan gå till, vilka utmaningar som finns samt vilka kostnader och prestandaförsämringar som införandet innebär. Detta görs genom en fallstudie där APM implementeras i Enterprise Resource Planning-systemet MONITOR G5 som utvecklats av det svenska företaget Monitor ERP System AB. Systemet är utvecklat i Microsofts mjukvaruramverk .NET Framework och APM-tjänsten som används är Microsofts Application Insights. Studien resulterade i ett förslag på en APM-lösning där data om användarinteraktioner, prestanda och uppkomna fel samlas in och visualiseras. Sex instrumentpaneler skapades som visar olika aspekter av insamlade data, bland annat prestandamätvärden såsom processor- och minnesanvändning, uppkomna fel, laddningstider för vyer samt vilka delar av systemet som används mest och minst. Kostnadsanalysen visar att kostnaderna kan bli väldigt höga, men förslag på strategier för att hålla kostnaderna nere ges. Prestandatesterna som utfördes för att undersöka APM-lösningens påverkan på systemets prestanda gav otillförlitliga resultat, men det är troligt att prestandakostnaden för APM är liten. / The use of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) for collecting data about performance and end-user behaviors in complex software systems is increasing. APM is used to ensure availability and robustness and to enhance end-user experiences. This study aims to investigate how the adoption of APM can be done, what challenges organizations face during the implementation as well as costs and performance overhead associated with APM. This is achieved through a case study in which APM is introduced into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system MONITOR G5, developed and maintained by the Swedish software company Monitor ERP System AB. The system is developed in Microsoft’s .NET Framework and the APM service used is Microsoft’s Application Insights. The study resulted in a proposed APM solution wherein data regarding user interactions, performance and errors are collected and visualized. Six dashboards were created, showing different aspects of the collected data, for instance: which parts of the system is most and least frequently used, errors, load times and performance metrics such as processor and memory usage. The cost analysis shows that monetary costs can be very high, but strategies for suppressing costs are proposed. The performance tests that were conducted to determine the performance overhead of APM are inconclusive, but it is likely that the performance penalty of using APM is small.
