Utveckla kassaflödet genom hela affärsprocessen : En fallstudie hos en hustillverkare / Develop the cash flow through the whole business process : A case study at a house manufacturerOdenbrink, Viktor, Johansson, Viktor January 2017 (has links)
Background: The housing market is an important part of society, where increased housing is a prerequisite for ensuring future housing. Unfortunately, population growth tends to increase at a faster pace compared to the number of homes being built. Furthermore, it is not always easy to justify a construction project as it extends over a long time, requires large capital and thus involves risks. Capital intensive projects therefore require thoughtfulness as it may tend to affect cash flow negatively. As studies are lacking in how the capital requirements and cash flow relate to the business process for construction companies and house manufacturers, we want to look closer with our business case. A stable cash flow is important for future survival and therefore also for future housing. Purpose: The purpose of this work is to map the business process of our business case and map the capital requirement throughout the business process. Furthermore, the purpose of this study is to provide on the basis of the survey, suggestions on how the company can control and streamline the cash flow through the business process. This study also aims to provide knowledge about how house manufacturers and construction companies can control and streamline their cash flows throughout the business process. Method: During this study, case study has been the basis of the research conducted as a method. The empirical basis has been obtained through unstructured and semi- structured interviews. Furthermore, observations and documents have also been part of the empirical basis. Conclusion: Planning for when projects are assumed is important to take into consideration for managing cash flow between different annual cycles. Good planning can thus affect which product mix the company can handle and at the same time good planning can also result in the choice of when projects are to be assumed. Furthermore, it is important to review the throughput through the company's processes, as a faster throughput can result in less capital tied up but also faster payments. Through a detailed process mapping, the company can also visualize capital needs through the business process, thus acting as a tool for affecting payment flows, but also for how and when invoices are to be sent and paid.

Využití agentů v business procesech / Using Multi-Agent Systems in Business Process ModelingDoskočilová, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with the possibilities of using agents and multiagent systems in the areas of business process management and business process modeling. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the theory of artificial agents, to assess the benefits of this approach and to describe current applications of MAS in BPM. In the theoretical part I also describe the issue of management and business process modeling and methodology MMABP. The aim of the analytical part is to summarize the possibilities of using MAS in BPM in the situations where business processes are already described and modeled and in the situations where there are no such descripctions nor models yet . In this part I also want to introduce my theory of agent-process, which is the possibility of looking at processes as autonomous agents. This theory is presented in practical demonstrations and examples by using the TROPOS methodology, and this theory is supported by references from the areas of agent and business process modeling.

Procesní model obchodní společnostiVyleťal, Petr January 2006 (has links)
Process management is frequently used term these days. The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain, what „process“ actually means, what has been the historical evolution, what are its alternatives, but mainly what are the benefits for the company. Even though the title of this thesis is „Process model of trading company“, its content goes further than that. Creation of company’s process model is only one part, even though important, of the process- based management of the company (Business Process Management, BPM). Moreover, the methods and procedures described in this thesis can be used almost in any company, not only in the trading one. The main contribution of this thesis is in its broad view of process management. This thesis deals with some topics, which at the first sight don’t even relate to BPM (ISO standards or Change Management). Nevertheless, after closer examination the link becomes obvious. Most of the methods described in the theoretical part of this document are later used in its practical part for the BPM implementation proposal in the concrete company. The read is thus given an option to immediately confront theory with reality and visualize sometimes very general theoretical procedures. This document is structured in 5 chapters. The first chapter introduces a reader to this thesis topic, reasons for its selection and the aims, benefits and limitations. The second chapter shows the meaning of process management in the broader context of related concepts. The aim of the third chapter is to show practical use of process management. The fourth chapter is dedicated to implementation proposal of BPM in specific company. First, the company is described and its main aspects analyzed, which enables to present the company strategy. Then, the most important company processes are modeled and described, together with their evaluation and optimization proposal. The benefits and advantages of BPM are outlined in the closing chapter.

Formal verification of business process configuration in the Cloud / Vérification formelle de la configuration des processus métiers dans le CloudBoubaker, Souha 14 May 2018 (has links)
They need to be configured according to an organization needs by selecting design options. As the configurable process models may be large and complex, their configuration with no assistance is undoubtedly a difficult, time-consuming and error-prone task. Moreover, organizations are increasingly adopting cloud environments for deploying and executing their processes to benefit from dynamically scalable resources on demand. Nevertheless, due to the lack of an explicit and formal description of the resource perspective in the existing business processes, the correctness of Cloud resources management cannot be verified. In this thesis, we target to (i) provide guidance and assistance to the analysts in process model configuration with correct options, and to (ii) improve the support of Cloud resource specification and verification in business processes. To do so, we propose a formal approach for assisting the configuration step-by-step with respect to structural and business domain constraints. We thereafter propose a behavioral approach for configuration verification while reducing the well-known state space explosion problem. This work allows to extract configuration choices that satisfy the deadlock-freeness property at one time. Finally, we propose a formal specification for Cloud resource allocation behavior in business process models. This specification is used to formally validate and check the consistency of the Cloud resource allocation in process models according to user requirements and resource capabilities

Dolování procesů jako služba / Process Mining as a ServiceDobias, Ondrej January 2017 (has links)
Softwérové a hardvérové aplikácie zaznamenávajú veľké množstvo informácií do protokolov udalostí.
