Assim, os processos verificados na cidade definiram e definem, por enquanto, a centralidade da cidade no seu espaço interno, bem como na sua relação interurbana / This study is based on the Regional Development line of research and focus the town called Sanclerlândia which is located approximately in the junction of the motorways GO-164 e GO-326 – state of Goiás. Its first settlement ocurred within 1930 and 1940 mainly by the “mineiros” (people originally from Minas Gerais, a state located in the south-east region of Brazil). A small shop, a cemetery, the Saint Sebastian Chapel and a state school, located just beside the main road that connect Mossâmedes to Córrego do Ouro are the basis of the constitution of this town. “O povoado do Barreirinho” the previous name for Sanclerlândia, was later raised to a condition of district and municipality thereafter being called Sanclerlândia. In order to develop this study we took into account the constitution and the expansion of it as a business and services centre within the town and also in relation to some neighbouring towns. Sanclerlândia was not a very influential district until the early 1990s. However, from then on, it went through a number of well-planned changes, some of them still developing, that made it possible to transform and develop the inner urban space, including the expansion of businesses, trading and services downtown. The transformation is also quite evident in relation to some neighbouring towns such as Buriti de Goiás, Córrego do Ouro and Mossâmedes, all of which have inscreasingly been influenced by all the changes in Sanclerlândia. Therefore, the development found in this town defined and define, for the time being, its capacity of being a businesses and services centre within its inner space, as well as being it in relation to other cities

A evolução do capital imobiliário nacional no setor de shopping centers a partir de 1980 / The Evolution of the National Capital Real Estate in shopping center industry from 1980

José Roberto Barsotti Baldin 09 November 2012 (has links)
The monopolist phase of the capital development was, historically, permeated by a number of changes in the organization of the production, with extensions in various aspects in the life in society. The changes in the interrelation between the production structure and the financial sector characterized this process, which envolved an intensification of the concentration degree and centralization of the capital too. This proposal aims to evaluate, under a differentiated prism, the secondary circuit of movement of capital: the real estate - the shopping malls, considered a typical demonstration of the current capitalist forces. I intend to identify how \"the movement of capital\" moves internally in the malls, through its \"agents\" - the entrepreneur, the administrator, the shopkeeper and the client, and externally, in the fund raising through mergers, acquisitions and IPO, contributing in this new mode of accumulation and financialization.

The superintendent as curriculum director in a small unified school district

Goodell, Earl Angus 01 January 1952 (has links)
The Hilmar Unified School District came into existence on July 1st, 1950, after three years of meetings by local patrons and County Committees, with final approval by the regional and State Commissions, as provided for in Chapter 16 of the Education Code. One of the primary objectives for the reorganization and unification was an improved curriculum. Curriculum study is complex and can include all parts of the school and its program. Curriculum is interwoven with personnel, finance, facilities, type of organization, and many other factors. For that reason, curriculum problems will vary in almost every school. In order to understand the basis of the reasoning for the several problems, it is necessary that a brief background be given, as well as information on the financial ability of the district. In this way, problems found in the Hilmar Unified School District can be studied in the light of comparable problems in other districts.

The distribution of sustainability decision-making in manufacturing networks / Kartläggning av beslutsstrukturer gällande hållbarhet inom produktionsnätverk

Stefanicki, Martin, Fagerlind, Therese January 2015 (has links)
In order to contribute to the research for solving the challenge of implementing business sustainability, this study aims to explore the relation between an important aspect of organizational structure; centralization, and an important aspect of sustainability management; setting sustainability objectives. This has been done, in particular, by studying the distribution of decisions related to economic, environmental and social sustainability objectives between different organizational levels in multi-plant manufacturing networks. The research is fundamentally exploratory and has been conducted as a multiple case study, with nine participating case organizations. Data has been used from the nine case organizations, based on semi-structured interviews. Five different decision-making approaches for sustainability have been found; all decisions are centralized and decided at the corporate headquarters, all decisions are aggregated and decided at the central headquarters but adapted and transformed when distributed to lower organizational levels, all decisions are integrated and decided at both the central headquarters and at lower organizational levels, all decisions are decided at an intermediate organizational level, and all decisions are local and decided at the plant level. The findings also show that there is no consistent way of deciding upon sustainability issues, where some case organizations seem to regard sustainability as a global concern, while others regard it as a more local concern. In general, the economic sustainability dimension is regarded as more of a global concern, while the environmental dimension is more of a local concern, and the social dimension more of an integrated concern, where some related issues are decided more centralized while others are decided more local. The findings of this study can act as guidance for managers when implementing or improving their sustainability strategies. The findings also provide empirical data for the academic with the possibility to expand and evaluate the research in the future.
