A presente dissertação pretende compreender o modo como os meios digitais e as ferramentas multimédia podem contribuir para dotar o público de capacidade para participar ativamente na construção, preservação e reinscrição de património cultural imaterial. O património cultural imaterial é um importante fator identitário de um povo ou de uma comunidade local. As alterações sócio-económicas sofridas ao longo das últimas décadas, provocadas em grande parte pela evolução das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação e pelo advento da globalização, têm provocado mudanças na própria cultura das comunidades locais. A Web 2.0 veio alterar a interação entre os utilizadores da Internet e, consequentemente, as relações sociais, comunicacionais e comerciais online, contribuindo para a criação de um sentimento de comunidade, partilha e construção colectiva. Atualmente, verifica-se, na criação musical, a utilização de instrumentos tradicionais portugueses, e nomeadamente dos cordofones, em diversas zonas geográficas do país, e a cidade do Porto não é excepção. O projecto Cordofonias, desenvolvido no âmbito desta dissertação, tirando partido do actual contexto fértil à participação, propõe a reinscrição dos cordofones tradicionais portugueses para a sua transmissão futura enquanto elementos de análise e interpretação de um conjunto de aspetos culturais intrínsecos à sociedade atual. Numa primeira fase, a pesquisa foi conduzida pela compreensão das necessidades e motivações para participação dos diversos tipos de pessoas que se relacionam com estes instrumentos - os que constroem ou reparam, os que utilizam e os que apreciam - na construção de um repositório comum. Numa segunda fase, verificou-se a importância do uso de ferramentas interativas como veículo promotor das experiências dos participantes e da agregação de diversos tipos de conteúdos media enquanto documentos que contribuem para a salvaguarda deste património cultural imaterial. Nesta dissertação apresentamos o enquadramento teórico, a metodologia adoptada, as sucessivas etapas de trabalho de campo e, por último, as conclusões sobre o projecto, bem como perspectivas de trabalho futuro. / This dissertation aims to understand how the digital media and multimedia tools can contribute to provide the public capacity to participate actively in the construction, preservation and reentry of intangible cultural heritage. The intangible cultural heritage is an important factor of identity of a people or a local community. Socio-economic changes suffered over the past few decades, caused in large part by the development of information and communication technologies and the advent of globalization, have provoked changes in the culture of local communities. The Web 2.0 changed the interaction between Internet users and, consequently, social relations and commercial online communication, contributing to the creation of a sense of community, sharing and collective construction. Currently, in musical creation, the use of traditional Portuguese instruments, and in particular of chordophones, in various geographical areas of the country, and the city of Porto is no exception. The Cordofonias project, developed within the framework of this dissertation, taking advantage of the current fertile context for participation, proposes the reintroduction of traditional Portuguese string instruments to their future broadcast as part of analysis and interpretation of a set of cultural aspects intrinsic to society. In a first phase, the research was conducted by the understanding of needs and motivations for participation in the various types of people that relate to these instruments - the building or fix, those using and those who appreciate - in building a common repository. In a second stage, it was verified the importance of the use of interactive tools as a vehicle sponsor of the experiences of the participants and the aggregation of various types of media content while documents that contribute to safeguarding this intangible cultural heritage. In this dissertation we present the theoretical framework, the methodology adopted, the successive stages of field work and, finally, the conclusions of the project, as well as prospects for future work.

The project conducts in close scope of using new media for political participation within Cambodia. Cambodia is a developing country in Southeast East, and its latest National Assembly election is done in July 2013 in the circumstance that new media are well used for political involvements among young citizens. The goal of this project is to contribute the powerful keynotes to understand the interaction of media in politics for democratic development. With the rational background on the integration of Cambodian new media users into political participation, the study intended to explore two main points on the level of understanding and rhetorical reason of users exposing to Internet for engagement in politics applying use and gratification theory. The study is implemented with survey questionnaires collected from 401 Cambodian voters through online. Finding reveals that new media is the extraordinary trend for exposing senses of democracy among Cambodian citizens. It is the gate of exploring for freedom of expression and social involvement. New media also urge the individuals with the senses of collecting and sharing information, being as the citizen journalists. According to the Use and Gratification theory, individuals access new media for their personal motivation, been seen for information, socialisation, personal identity/ self-expression, while entertainment is not for the choice.

O objetivo geral deste estudo foi caracterizar o ambiente e a pedagogia na área da expressão motora em contexto de jardim-de-infância. Teve também os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) perceber quem são as pessoas que leccionam a área de expressão motora, em que espaços e a frequência e duração das sessões; b) fazer o levantamento dos equipamentos, materiais e espaços existentes e possíveis necessidades; c) aferir o grau de conhecimento destes/as profissionais relativamente ao desenvolvimento motor esperado nesta faixa etária (em termos normativos) e a consequente adequação das atividades ao mesmo; d) perceber quais os movimentos trabalhados, a nível de motricidade global, e qual o grau de envolvimento nas atividades por parte dos/das profissionais; e) fazer o levantamento do tipo de vocabulário e comunicação utilizados pelas pessoas envolvidas e a sua associação direta à expressão motora; e f) perceber se existe uma utilização de atividades variadas e ajustadas à capacidade de cada criança, bem como a natureza da informação proporcionada à família. Participaram no estudo 114 educadores/as de infância de várias localidades do país; com uma idade média de 49.4 anos, e com uma média de 25.7 anos de experiência. Desenvolveu-se um questionário online tendo como referência a Movement Environment Rating Scale (MOVERS; Archer & Siraj, 2017), com foco no domínio da aprendizagem do desenvolvimento físico. Em termos dos principais resultados, verificou-se que são os/as educadores/as a lecionar a área de expressão motora, que há falta de espaços para este efeito e escassa disponibilidade de materiais diversificados. Em relação à frequência e duração das sessões de expressão motora, é dedicado, em média, um dia por semana a esta atividade, com uma duração entre 30 a 45 minutos. Os/As profissionais que trabalham com as crianças nos jardins-de-infância afirmam envolver-se com elas nas atividades. Verifica-se, no entanto, que a inclusão de outras áreas curriculares aquando do planeamento de atividades de expressão motora é ainda incipiente. São discutidas perspetivas de estudos futuros recorrendo a entrevistas aos profissionais envolvidos, bem como à observação dos contextos. / The main goal of this study was to characterize the environment and pedagogy in the area of motor expression in a kindergarten context. It also had the following specific objectives: a) to understand who are the people who teach the area of motor expression, in which spaces and the frequency and duration of the sessions; b) survey existing equipment, materials and spaces and possible needs; c) assess the degree of knowledge of these professionals in relation to the expected motor development in this age group (in normative terms) and the consequent adequacy of activities to it; d) understand which movements are being worked on, at the level of global motricity, and what is the degree of involvement in the activities on the part of the professionals; e) survey the type of vocabulary and communication used by the people involved and its direct association with motor expression; and f) to understand if there is a use of varied activities and adjusted to the capacity of each child, as well as the nature of the information provided to the family. A total of 114 kindergarten teachers from various parts of the country participated in the study; with an average age of 49.4 years, and with an average of 25.7 years of experience. An online questionnaire was developed with reference to the Movement Environment Rating Scale (MOVERS; Archer & Siraj, 2017), focusing on the domain of learning physical development. In terms of the main results, it was verified that it are the educators who teach the area of motor expression, that there is a lack of spaces for this purpose and the scarce availability of diversified materials. Regarding the frequency and duration of motor expression sessions, an average of one day a week is dedicated to this activity, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes. Professionals who work with children in kindergartens claim to be involved with them in activities. Furthermore, there is a gap with regard to the inclusion of other curricular areas when planning motor expression activities.
