Kransenstedt, Ida, Yahyaei Fard, Sadaf January 2023 (has links)
Background: Marketing is in a constantly changing context. Influencer marketing is an effective strategy today, where companies partner with influencers to promote their products and build trust with followers. Use of limited products as successful influencer marketing is emphasized. Collaborations to create limited collections have been seen with NA-KD and Nelly.com, among others, confirming high demand and fast sales. Purpose: The aim is to investigate consumers' perception of their purchasing behavior when brands create temporary collections together with influencers.  Methodology: The study is based on a qualitative method and deductive approach where empirical information has been collected via semi-structured interviews with female consumers.  Conclusion: The study identifies important aspects where it is confirmed that social proof, viral trends, and reviews positively influence purchase decisions. Additionally, it is found that influencers, especially on TikTok, also have a strong influence on purchase intentions among the respondents. Trust for the influencer also has a strong impact. Furthermore, it appears that the scarcity principle increases purchase intentions as it creates a sense of urgency and competition. Here it becomes clear that temporary collections that companies bring together with influencers have a strong impact on consumers. On the other hand, it is of significant importance for the companies to choose influencers that people have a preference for because it seems to be a contributing factor to more positive purchase decisions. Both style and aesthetics as well as personal values and opinions.  Keywords: Authority, limited edition, Cialdini, influencer marketing, scarcity, consumer behavior, purchase decision, social proof, social media, sympathy principle, temporary collections.

B2C電子商務信任之研究:以齊氏影響力模式闡述網路購物流程 / A study of B2C E-Commerce trust: applying cialdini’s influence model to internet shopping process

Wu, Yi Chi Unknown Date (has links)
The e-commerce environment has developed rapidly with the fast growth of Internet. However, by reviewing the market status of e-commerce, there were still 54.9% of Internet shops which couldn’t make the profit and loss balance even the internet shopping was growing constantly. The environment was so competitive that the profit margin of product reduced and the rate of making profits slowed down. Therefore, the Institute for Information Industry advised internet shops to enhance their internet security of websites if they wanted to stand out from the competitive environment. Consumers are not willing to purchase the products or services due to the lack of trust in the security of the website and credibility of the internet shops. For this reason, the key to gain the consumers is how to make them trust the internet shops. Past researches indicated that the consumer’s trusting beliefs can be enhanced by improving the structural assurance of the website. In addition, these trusting beliefs were positively related to the trusting attitude toward the website. Therefore, we identified the constructs of the trusting beliefs which could be affected by Cialdini’s Influence Model from literature review. We used this model to design the structural assurances of the website as experimental variables to probe the differences of consumer’s trusting beliefs under the model’s principles. Furthermore, we understand the effect of structural assurance by analyzing how the constructs of trusting beliefs affected consumers’ trusting attitude when consumers visit the Internet shop at the first time. This research manipulated the principles of Cialdini’s Influence Model to design the structural assurance of website and simulated the situation of internet shopping via laboratory experimentation. The research result was shown as below: 1. The structural assurances designed by Cialdini’s Influence Model were positively related to the trusting beliefs of consumers except the “Liking” principle. 2. The constructs of consumer’s trusting beliefs were related to the trusting attitude toward the website positively and respectively.

The Rebirth Of Consciousness

Blaszak, Urszula 01 January 2007 (has links) (PDF)
Human beings encounter cascades of a plethora of experiences, one after another, every single microsecond of our lives. There are many things happening around. The world is full of events and occurrences. As they happen, the mind reacts to every individual input. This is a very exhausting and difficult. Thus, people have developed a process of self-defense against this horrible mishmash of information. Their minds have this amazing capacity of sorting them out and making sense out of them. Humankind's survival depends on that. If one does not sort all this information out, one might not be able to make a simplest decision. As humans process the information, they learn to ignore and forget. They focus on their feelings and emotions. They forget the logic. The oversimplification process begins. Humans create rigid systems of oversimplified formulas. They assign adjectives to things, occurrences, and other people. The number of those adjectives is small. After assigning, those adjectives obscure everything else. A new world is created, stupid, limited, lazy, and in the end making humans very easy to control. What starts as a basic survival process ends up as a tool one can use to destroy the owners of the mind. In the end, the birth of consciousness leads to its death. My work fights this process. It aims to put a person back into that state of shock created by a mishmash of information and thus create the rebirth of consciousness.
