The use of artistic interventions as a way of illustrating the ethnography, as well as the questioning of the place of speech of the researcher in the context of the nearby alterity, are some of the reflections presented in this thesis. I will also describe and interpret the speeches of the speakers of this research, using these tools as a theoretical and methodological strategy to overcome and move itself the speeches referring to the senses of heritage in the city of Rio de Contas. Categories such as Backlands (Sertão), memory, stigma, and social representation will also be analyzed. Thus, the narrative built here also propose to question the experiences lived by my ethnographic encounter, verifying the extent to which the relationship between the landscape, visual and memory representations relate to the heritages representations shared by the social actors participants in the frame of this ethnographic field in context. / Este trabalho é um estudo pautado nas representações, práticas e sentidos atuais do patrimônio em Rio de Contas (BA). O uso de intervenções artísticas como uma forma de se desenhar a etnografia, assim como a problematização do lugar de fala do pesquisador no contexto de alteridade próxima, são algumas das reflexões presentes nesse trabalho. Também narro e interpreto os discursos dos interlocutores dessa pesquisa, utilizando esta ferramenta como estratégia teórico-metodológica para se sobrepor e se deslocar as falas referentes aos sentidos do patrimônio na cidade de Rio de Contas. Categorias como Sertão, memória, estigma e representações sociais, também são analisadas. Sendo assim, a narrativa construída aqui se propõe a problematizar as experiências vivenciadas por meio do meu encontro etnográfico, averiguando até que ponto a relação entre as representações paisagísticas, visuais e de memória se relacionam com as representações patrimoniais compartilhadas pelos atores sociais presentes nas “molduras” desse campo etnográfico em contexto.
