Para tanto foi realizado um levantamento do número de alunos implantados nas citadas redes de ensino durante o ano letivo de 2013 e identificou-se 3 alunas implantadas na rede particular, sendo duas no Ensino Fundamental I e outra no Ensino Médio, com idades variando de 6 a 17 anos. Para verificar o que pensavam seus pais e professores sobre a aquisição da escrita, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e analisada a escrita em textos, ditados, atividades do caderno de classe e provas. Os resultados apontaram que a aquisição da escrita se dá a partir da língua oral ou gestual utilizada e que a falta de contato linguístico revela desconhecimento da língua portuguesa. A pesquisa mostrou que os alunos usuários de implante coclear necessitam de qualidade nas interações com o meio para o desenvolvimento linguístico e da escrita, e que, portanto, apenas o implante coclear e a exposição à linguagem oral não garantem a aquisição da escrita, pois a linguagem é dialógica e não depende apenas da audição, mas das interações sociais estabelecidas com seus pares / This study aimed to identify among the deaf students, users of cochlear implants included in public and private schools in the city of Araraquara - SP, checking how the writing of students with cochlear implant is. For this survey the number of deployed networks in the aforementioned teaching during the school year, 2013 students was conducted and have identified three students deployed in private schools, two in Elementary Education I and another in high school, with ages ranging from 6 to 17 years. To check what they thought their parents and teachers about the acquisition of writing, semi-structured interviews were conducted and analysed written in texts, dictations, notebook class activities and tests. The results showed that the acquisition of writing starts from the oral or sign language used and the lack of linguistic contact reveals ignorance of the English language. Research has shown that cochlear implant users need quality students in interactions with the environment to language development and writing, and that therefore only the cochlear implant and exposure to oral language does not guarantee the acquisition of writing, because language is dialogic and depends not only hearing, but also the established social interactions with peers
