In addition, scholars stress the potential of inter-organizational relationships as a source for obtaining valuable resources. Despite these notions, few empirical studies have tested hypotheses related to them. In response to this gap and an innovative perspective, the main objective of this thesis was centered on empirically investigate the effects of interorganizational cooperation in the dynamic capabilities, of these in competitive advantage, and therefore, in firm’s performance. Data were collected from 271 hotel companies located in 65 tourism destinations in Brazil, tested and refined by structural equation modeling with estimation of the matrix by PLS method. During the work, a scale to measure what is called tourist destinations interorganizational cooperation was developed and validated, which is one of the contributions of this study. The results suggest that interorganizational cooperation provides positive effects on dynamic capabilities, confirms that the dynamic capabilities positively affect the competitive advantage and this, the performance of hotel companies. / A abordagem dinâmica da teoria dos recursos tem sustentado que as capacidades dinâmicas contribuem para a geração de vantagem competitiva da firma. Além disso, estudiosos salientam o potencial dos relacionamentos interorganizacionais como fonte para obtenção de recursos valiosos. A despeito dessas noções, poucos estudos empíricos colocaram em testes hipóteses a elas relacionadas. Em resposta a essa lacuna e em uma perspectiva inovadora, o objetivo principal desta tese esteve centrado em investigar empiricamente os efeitos da cooperação interorganizacional nas capacidades dinâmicas, destas na vantagem competitiva e, consequentemente, no desempenho da empresa. Os dados foram coletados de 271 empresas hoteleiras localizadas nos 65 destinos indutores do turismo no Brasil, testados e refinados pela técnica de modelagem de equações estruturais com estimação da matriz pelo método PLS. No decorrer dos trabalhos, foi desenvolvida e validada uma escala para mensurar o que se denominou a cooperação interorganizacional em destinos turísticos, sendo esta uma das contribuições deste estudo. Os resultados sugerem que cooperação interorganizacional proporciona efeito positivo sobre as capacidades dinâmicas, confirma que as capacidades dinâmicas afetam positivamente a vantagem competitiva e esta, o desempenho das empresas hoteleiras.

El presente plan de negocios tiene el objetivo de analizar la deseabilidad, factibilidad y rentabilidad de una propuesta de creación de una consultora que brinda un servicio para integrar la responsabilidad social en empresas, haciendo uso de la ISO 26000. Para este fin, nos hemos basado en la determinación de la demanda por el servicio de consultoría en empresas de diversos sectores y tamaños que operan en el país. Se realizó el análisis PEST cuyos resultados demostraron un entorno favorable para el desarrollo del plan. Luego, al emplear el análisis de las cinco fuerzas de Porter se determinó una alta atractividad del sector para el desarrollo del negocio. Los resultados del sondeo de mercado mostraron la existencia de empresas interesadas en nuestro servicio. También se logró determinar la disposición de inversión de los clientes en un monto que asciende a S/ 36,000 (sin IGV) aproximadamente. Se plantea una estrategia de posicionamiento basada en los beneficios de la ISO 26000. Además, teniendo en cuenta la diversidad del mercado se determinan las ventajas competitivas. Y empleando como herramienta el Business Model Canvas se plantea un servicio integral ofrecido a las empresas y/o sectores hoy desatendidos. El plan da a conocer la Norma Técnica Peruana ISO 26000 como guía de responsabilidad social que favorece el conocimiento de lo que realmente es la responsabilidad social y cómo aplicarla en las empresas. Finalmente, el análisis financiero permite obtener un VAN de S/ 162,366.33 y una TIR del 49% y concluir que el proyecto es rentable económica y financieramente. / This business plan aims at analysing desirability, feasibility and profitability of a proposal to set up a consultancy firm which provides a service to integrate social responsibility into a company using ISO 26000. In order to do so, we have started from establishing the demand for consultancy service in companies of various sizes and in different sectors which operate in our country. We conducted the PEST analysis, which showed a likely setting for carrying out the plan. After that, the use of the Porter’s five forces model helped determine high attractiveness of the sector for conducting this business. The market survey results showed the existence of companies interested in our service. We could also determine customers’ willingness to invest a sum of money which amounts to about S/ 36,000 (without GST). We outline a positioning strategy based on the benefits of ISO 26000. In addition, we have determined competitive advantages taking market diversity into consideration. Using Business Model Canvas as a tool, we propose a comprehensive service offered to companies and/or sectors which are disregarded at present. Our plan announces the Peruvian ISO 26000 technical standard as a social responsibility guide, which favours the knowledge of what social responsibility truly is and how to implement it in companies. Finally, the financial analysis allows us to obtain NPV of s/ 162,366.33 and an IRR of 49% and to conclude that the project is financially and economically profitable. / Tesis

This diploma thesis results from the need for Competitive Intelligence as a system for gathering, analyzing and communicating information about competitors to obtain a competitive advantage. The work attempts to analyze current knowledge gathering processes as well as an application of that information for strategic decision making inside the XXX corporation. After definition of basic terms several different methods and approaches to Competitive Intelligence are described. These methods are reviewed and those that suit XXX requirements best are picked up afterwards. In this thesis there are also identified some of the crucial information sources, to begin with public and commercial databases and catalogues, business publications, online sources, personal knowledge, but also data-mining and other sophisticated methods. The main contribution of this work is the proposal of Competitive Intelligence system itself, empathising an effective functionality that solves identified issues, and is based on our theoretical resources and on actual competence of the company.

For the analyses will be use information provided by company and also information from public databases. We will dedicate implantation of competitive intelligence methods to the company's decision making process with consideration future market development in this thesis. We will clarify phases which company has to make for establishing CI methods to the reader on the pages of this work. We will also devote information sources and procedure, which can be for those issues crucial.
