Dans le contexte de la Belle Époque, dans une période où la France est obnubilée par l’idée de la Revanche contre l’Allemagne, la culture allemande, c’est-à-dire en premier lieu sa littérature et sa culture, suscite des réactions ambivalentes chez les écrivains français qui voient dans les penseurs et dans les poètes allemands, tantôt des adversaires et tantôt des modèles, quand ils ne les perçoivent pas simultanément de façon antagoniste. Le cas de Maurice Barrès apparaît de ce point de vue particulièrement représentatif. Lecteur enthousiaste de Goethe, de Schiller, de Heine notamment, Barrès a subi leur influence tout en s’efforçant de prendre ses distances par rapport à eux, comme en témoignent ses propres romans. Il en va de même avec les philosophes allemands, tout particulièrement Kant, Schopenhauer et Nietzsche, eux aussi évoqués non seulement dans les Cahiers de Barrès, mais aussi dans ses romans. L’exemple de Barrès, sa trajectoire qui doit se lire sur un double plan, littéraire et politique, permet donc d’éclairer les enjeux de cette relation essentiellement ambiguë et les ressorts qui peuvent l’expliquer, comme s’efforce de le montrer cette thèse, soucieuse d’étudier la mise en question de la littérature et de la philosophie allemandes dans l’oeuvre de Barrès, tout en restituant le contexte historique, idéologique et culturel qui permet de la comprendre : cette double perspective permet dès lors de mieux distinguer la complexité des rapports culturels et littéraires entre la France et l’Allemagne à la Belle Époque, et de percevoir de façon plus nuancée la position et la pensée de Barrès, parfois caricaturées / In the context of the Belle Epoque, for a period when France is obsessed by the idea of the Revenge against Germany, the German culture, that is first of all its literature and its culture, gives to rise ambivalent reactions at the French writers who see in the thinkers and in the German poets, sometimes the opponents and sometimes the models, when they do not perceive them simultaneously in a opposing way. The case of Maurice Barrès seems from this point of view particularly representative. Enthusiastic reader of Goethe, Schiller, Heine in particular, Barrès underwent their influence while trying hard to distance oneself with regard to them, as show of it its own novels. It's the same with the German philosophers, quite particularly Kant, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, them too evoked not only in the Exercise books of Barrès, but also in his novels. The example of Barrès, its trajectory which has to be read on a double plan, literary and political, thus allows to enlighten the stakes in this essentially ambiguous relation and the competences which can explain it, as tries hard to show it this thesis, worried of studying the questioning of the German literature and the philosophy in the work of Barrès, while restoring the historic, ideological and cultural context which allows to understand it : this double perspective allows from then on to distinguish better the complexity of the cultural and literary connections between France and Germany in the time of « La Belle Epoque », and to perceive in a more differentiated way the position and the thought of Barrès, sometimes caricatured

Le paysage médiatique arabe a connu un accroissement spectaculaire au cours de ces dernières décennies, notamment avec la création des grandes chaînes satellitaires comme Al-Jazeera, Al-Arabiya et MBC… et plus tard avec l’arrivée des chaînes occidentales arabophones à destination des publics arabes comme la BBC, France 24 et DW-TV Arabia. Les chaînes arabophones à destination du monde arabe constituent un phénomène médiatique pouvant servir des objectifs idéologiques, une diplomatie de séduction et des vecteurs d’influence pour atteindre des buts politiques et économiques. L’étude porte sur une de ces chaînes satellitaires, la DW-TV Arabia, et sur le rôle qu’elle joue pour le rayonnement de la culture et la position politique allemande, mais aussi pour promouvoir les valeurs et les pratiques démocratiques de la République fédérale. L’objet de cette recherche est de définir ses objectifs de création, sa ligne éditoriale dans la mesure où elle garantit la crédibilité, l’intégrité professionnelle, et son aptitude à forger un discours médiatique indépendant. Il convient par ailleurs de la situer dans le champ médiatique arabe mais aussi de montrer son rôle stratégique pour maintenir les intérêts économiques allemands dans le monde arabe. / The media landscape has known in the twentieth last years a spectacular increase, especially after the creation of satellite's channels with international vocation like Aljazeera, Al-Arabiya and MBC. Lately, the creation of occidental arabophones channels, like BBC, France 24 and DW-TV Arabia, comes to add a new dimension to the media field. The occidental arabophones channels that target Arab World can be considered as a phenomenon in the media field. They can be used to serving ideological objectives, to improve diplomatic relationships, and to make gains in politics and economics domains. This research is focalized in one of these channels; the DW-TV Arabia, this German channel in destination to the Arab World created in 2002. His role as a tool in the proliferation of Germany cultural and politics principles of the federal republic of Germany, to the Arab World, is one of the principals axes treated in this work. Therefore, the motifs of the creation of DW-TV Arabia occupy an important part of this study. The principal aspects who characterized the editorial line of this channel is based on the objectivity, credibility and independence; however, he play a strategic role in improving the economic interests of Germany in the Arab World countries.
