The thesis aims to expand the possibilities for diagnosing sentenced persons by the Freiburg Personality Inventory, which appears to be in terms of penal custody as a useful tool. There is only one Slovak translation of this method from 1984 including standards for a population already existent state, its use is problematic past 20 years and unextended. In contrast, demand for updated diagnostic tools that are not too time-consuming and difficult to administrate, and which would also underwent scaling to a specific population sample, creates space for effective use of the FPI in penitentiary practice. The theoretical part contains introduction to the method, theoretical background and the basis of the FPI and its comparison with other instruments used for personality diagnostics, possibilities and limits of its use. At the same time it focuses on the specifics of the prison population, the description of the personality in terms of its structure and dynamics, and the possibility of diagnostics including the currently used diagnostic tools. It also includes a summary of intervention programs implemented in prisons of the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to introduce a new assessment method of children's cognitive abilities, the Cognitive Assessment System 2, to examine its criterion concurrent validity in a population of children with special educational needs and analyze the test profiles of these children. In the theoretical part of the work various assessment tools of children's cognitive abilities are presented. The Cognitive Assessment System 2 is also introduced. In the empirical part concurrent criterion validity of the CAS2 is examined via the correlation between the results of CAS2 and the results of other commonly used intelligence tests - it is examined on a sample of children with specific learning disabilities and children with below- average intelligence or mental retardation. The test profiles of children from both groups are analyzed. It was found that the overall scores in the method CAS2 highly correlate with total scores of the WISC-III in a group of children with a below-average intelligence and mental retardation, and with total scores of the WISC-III or the K-ABC in a group of children with specific learning disabilities. The aim of my thesis is to summarize all the information regarding newborn and infant hearing screening programmes, to find out about the awareness of mothers-to-be and to give account on the possibilites of the further professional development of the infant hearing screening. The theoretical part consists of the definitions of terminology relating to this topic, the historical development of the hearing screening and the latest findings and current level of knowledge of the issue both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part of my master's thesis aspires to detect the awareness of expecting mothers and non-professionals through a questionnaire survey. Apart from the results of the survey the practical part also contains an interview with a specialist. Besides the research analysis, I have also focused on informing the target group about the prospects and significance of the newborn and infant hearing screening tests as this is a current issue now. The master's thesis is focused on business academy pupil's attitude to economic subjects, specifically economics and accounting. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical framework and empirical research. The theoretical part deals with key concepts, i.e. attitudes, motivation, evaluation and pedagogical-psychological diagnostics as well as with individual criteria for the attitude research. These criteria are subsequently applied in the empirical part which is based on more than 1.700 pupil's responses from 30 business academies. The applied criteria are also analyzed within individual school grades and the resulting trend is examined. Economic subjects are viewed in relation to other compulsory subjects at business academies.

The presented diploma thesis is focused on a special pedagogical topic and deals with the phonological abilities of preschool children. The diploma thesis is structured into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the reader is introduced with the characteristics of preschool children, principles of the school education system in the Czech Republic based on current legislation, the school's maturity and readiness and the diagnosis of preschool children. The work also presents various divisions of the ontogenesis of speech, language and communication and characterizes individual language levels. The work also describes the development of phonological abilities and introduces phonological abilities in the context of reading literacy. A separate subchapter is devoted to possible diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of phonological abilities and another subchapter is about the Batteries of tests of phonological abilities by Gabriela Seidlová Málková and Markéta Caravolas which was performed in the empirical part. The subject of this master’s thesis is the diagnostic survey of the industry cast-in-place hall. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on available options of diagnostic methods and options of materials evaluation. The practical part contains material assessment of chosen elements of construction. This part of thesis is focused on localizing the position and the diameter of reinforcement in every single element. Next step is focused on the quality of the concrete, particularly compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. The modern machines, like Hilti PS 1000 and Profometer PM-630, are used to localize the position and diameter of reinforcement. The quality of concrete is determined by removed bore core. Evaluation of material characteristics of the structure is in the conclusion.

This work deals with technology of rework and repairs of electronic soldering assemblies. The work is primarily focused on the rework and repairs of electronic soldering assemblies with the light emitting diode. The theoretical part describes the technological methods of soldering and reworking of electronic assemblies, their diagnostics, evaluation of their influence on reliability and functional properties. The practical part is focused on the real application of technological procedures of rework and repairs, their testing and evaluation. Furthermore there is described and tested the influence of thermal load during soldering on the properties of light emitting diodes.

This thesis deals with problematics of air/fuel mixture diagnosis od older carburetor motors. Especially for motors with more than one cylinder. In this thesis are informations about commercial product for diagnosis, brief informations about function of CV caburetor and best setup of fuel mixture. The next step in this thesis will be design, construction and testing of device for the diagnosis air/fuel mixture in practical use. Device will be able to measure mixture and other values witch can be used for best carburetor setup.

This thesis deals with the development of a conceptually new tester for evaluation of car chassis damping. The tester will work on the basis of tracking of the body attenuation at the points of the silencers after crossing the obstacles. The kinematic motion parameters will be scanned using an inertial measurement unit.

The diploma thesis deals with the application of acoustic methods for evaluating the technical condition of the shock absorbers. Analysis of acoustic radiation during damping operation leads to the definition of a new non-contact diagnostic methodology that can determine the condition of the shock absorbers. The first part of the thesis focuses on the noise radiation of the shock absorbers, which is caused by discontinuous dumping. Further, the methods for the noise source localization available at The Institute of Machine and Industrial Design are described – with their functionalities, advantages and limitations. Based on all the information, an appropriate method is selected and used in the experimental part of this work. Then, aeration and removing the full volume of oil with damage of the shock absorber tube are caused (induced) on several types of the shocks. Noise radiation is measured by a microphone array and by a sound meter; the acoustic maps, frequency spectra and the synchronous filtration graphs are calculated from the measured data. From the differences in the acoustic radiations of each shock condition, a suitable diagnostic criterion for a specific shock absorber is defined. The final part discusses obtained results. Based on these results, a general diagnostic methodology, applicable to any type of shock absorber, is formulated.
