The point of this text is to refer to the child with specific learning and behaviour difficulties as a unique personality and as a human beings with its own value. Childrens' self-concept is formed in a family background, at school and by a person of the same age. Childrens' self-concept is mainly endangered at schools, however the school has got a lot of opportunities to prevent that danger of self-concept reducing, to form and to develop it. The theoretical part is concentrated on forming self-concept in a view of child's psychical development and of childrens' specific learning and behaviour difficulties, it is pointed to forming self-concept at school background and in some situation which can endanger childrens' self-concept. We have also outlined a few possibilities how to prevent the threated self-concept, how to form and develop it. In the empiric part we studied whether the self-concept of children with specific learning and behaviour difficulties differs from self-concept of the children who haven't got these difficulties. For that purpose we used a standard questionnaire.

The aim of this paper is to verify the applicability of Interpersonal Check List for assessing managerial potential, namely leadership potential. The evolution and findings of leadership research are summarized in the theoretical part of the article. Possible effects of personality traits on leader effectivity are theoretically explained. There is evidence that these traits affect the perception of leaders. Empirical tests show that employees in leadership positions score higher in several dimensions of Interpersonal Check List, particularly in managerial - autocratic, competitive - exploitive and blunt - aggresive dimensions. The discussion of these findings leads to the conclusion that the mentioned dimensions could be considered as indicators of leadership potential. Interpersonal Check List is a valid instrument for assessing leadership potential.

Praktická část je zaměřena na výzkum vedoucí k analýze nejčastějších problémů a jejich příčin z hlediska učitelek mateřských škol a má za cíl zjistit, jaké osvědčené metody v oblasti prevence, diagnostiky a nápravy pedagogové používají. The goal of my dissertation was pointing out specific partial functions and their substance and importance. Pointing out the diagnostic methods which discover potential deficit of partial functions in preschool and early school age. Introducing the stimulus programmes on individual deficits in weakened partial functions. As a method of the research was used quantitative and qualitative research. Analysis and interpretation of the research results were implemented as well. The research was implemeted in Preparatory class of Elementary school in Prague 10. Children from the preparatory class were divided in two groups. One group was consisted of children using the stimulus programme for development of partial functions and the other group was without using the stimulus programme. This master's thesis is concerned with the issue of burnout syndrome. Based on the survey of professional literature, its main aim is to clarify the essence of burnout syndrome and factors leading to its occurence. It focuses on the possibilities of diagnosis, prevention and active approach leading to the elimination of burnout syndrome. The empirical part of the thesis examines how employees in a particular company dealing with fast moving goods production and sale experience burnout syndrome. On the basis of the research findings, main risk factors of burnout syndrome emergence among company's employees were identified and preventive steps leading to the elimination of its occurence.

Newborn hearing screening in the Czech Republic Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to summarize the important and actual information about a newborn hearing screening and its related topics. The theoretical part of this thesis contains the contemporary knowledge of the issue, the definition of terms for a comprehensive setting of issue in the context, illustrates the current state of knowledge of the issue in the Czech Republic in the comparison to some European and world countries and reveals some more directly and inextricably related topics. The practical part is based on the knowledge of the theoretical part. The practical part focuses on identification of the level of awareness of newborn hearing screening among pregnant women, which was investigated by a questionnaire. This part also analyzes, evaluates and discusses the results and suggestions for practice. The task of the practical part was not only to identify the research data, but also to provide information to expectant mothers about the possibilities and significance of the newborn hearing screening by appropriate form, as this topic is very current for the general public. The dissertation thesis deals with optimization of the selected areas of the hydraulic system for small and medium transport aircrafts. Newly developed small aircraft EV-55 is a representative in the category of the small aircrafts . The selected areas of the hydraulic systems , important and useful for domestic producers of the hydraulic devices and whole hydraulic systems for the airplane EV-55 , are subjected to optimization efforts in the dissertation thesis. Design parameters of the hydraulic system (type of hydraulic source, level of pressure, weight of connecting tube), hydraulic devices ( tribology, machining process), simulation of the servomechanism and areas of diagnostic of technical status of the hydraulic system are optimized in the dissertation thesis.

The thesis deals with the topic of diagnostics in children with behavioral problems and disorders. In the theoretical part the author describes commonly used terminology and the width of issues related to caring for these children. The Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Program is described and built on later in the practical section where the author introduces her own new method called "Children Together". The practical part of the thesis deals with action research aiming at improving author's practice in the field of special education and at evaluating the potential of the new method. The analysis of audio recordings from lessons and semi-structured interviews and two other supplementary research methods were utilized throughout the research. The outcomes of the research allow for a conclusion that the method "Children Together" can provide us with a volume of valuable assessment data on younger elementary-school-aged children. Towards the end of the thesis the author also identifies features of the method most valued by selected professionals, the ways how the method has been improved during the research and how it could be improved further on. The thesis discusses screening psychodiagnostics with special attention given to amnestic mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease. The theoretical part describes the concepts of healthy aging and the disorders of cognitive functions. It provides an overview of the screening methods most frequently used in the Czech Republic and the description of MoCA test. It also briefly outlines the issues of retesting in psychodiagnostics. The objective of the empirical part of the work was to verify the psychometric characteristics of the Czech alternative version MoCA-CZ and to evaluate whether it is possible to use this test in practice. The evaluation also includes a comparison of the new version with the already established standard version of MoCA-CZ test. We assigned standard and alternative versions of MoCA-CZ in a 2-month interval to 59 healthy volunteers, 35 patients with mild cognitive impairment and 41 patients with dementia resulting from Alzheimer's disease. We found a strong correlation between alternative and standard version of MoCA-CZ test. We confirmed statistically significant differences in the average scores between individual research groups in both versions of the test. We proved that the alternative version MoCA-CZ 2 is reliable.
