Síntesis de un derivado de dipirrometeno sustituido y su estudio en química de coordinación

Memoria para optar al título de Químico / Este trabajo describe la síntesis de dos moléculas (A y B) derivadas de dipirrometeno y su estudio de reactividad con metales de transición. Para la síntesis de estas moléculas orgánicas es necesario primero preparar dos precursores orgánicos. La síntesis utilizada para obtener el primer precursor, 2-(hidroximetil)-2-(1H-Pirrol-2-il)-1,3 propanodiol (3) para preparar la molécula A, se llevó a cabo siguiendo una síntesis reportada obteniendo un bajo rendimiento. La síntesis para obtener el segundo precursor, 2-pirrol malonato de dimetilo (4), para formar la molécula B siguió dos rutas diferentes. La primera ruta (a) empieza con una reacción radicalaria del precursor iodomalonato de dimetilo (5) en DMSO y H2O2 para obtener el precursor (4). La segunda ruta (b) empieza con una reacción de un iluro de fenil yodonio para formar el precursor (4). Mediante estas síntesis se logró formar la molécula (Z)-2-(2-((5-(1,3-dimetoxi-1,3-dioxopropan-2-il)-2H-pirrol-2iliden)(fenil)metil)-3H-pirrol-5-il) de dimetilo (dpmCO2CH3) (B), el cual es un ligante que puede coordinarse con iones de metales de transición debido a sus puntos de coordinación. Por tanto, una vez aislado y caracterización el ligando orgánico B, se presenta un estudio de reactividad con los iones metálicos Mn2+, Cd2+, Co2+ y Zn2+. Los compuestos obtenidos han sido caracterizados mediante espectroscopía infrarroja (FTIR), resonancia magnética nuclear de protones (1H-RMN), y espectroscopías UV-visible y de fluorescencia / This work describes the synthesis of two molecules (A and B) derivatized from dipyrromethene and their reactivity study with transition metals. To synthesize these organic molecules it is necessary to prepare two organic precursors. The first precursor, 2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-(1H-pyrrol-2-yl)-1,3-propanediol (3) to prepare molecule A, was synthesized following a reported synthesis, obtaining low yield. The synthesis to obtain the second precursor dimethyl 2-pyrrole malonate (4) to prepare molecule B followed two different routes. The first synthetic route (a) started with a radical reaction of the dimethyl iodomalonate precursor (3) in DMSO and H2O2, to obtain precursor (4). The second synthetic route (b) starts with a reaction of an iodonium ylide to form the precursor (4). From this second precursor it was possible to form the molecule (Z)-dimethyl 2-(2-((5-(1,3-dimethoxy-1,3-dioxopropan-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)(phenyl)methylene)-2H-pyrrol-5-yl)malonate (dpmCO2CH3) (B), which is a ligand that can coordinate transition metals ions, due to their coordination sites. Therefore, once the ligand B is isolated and characterized, it is presented a reactivity study with the transition metal ions Mn2+, Cd2+, Co2+ and Zn2+. Ligantes dipirrometenos meso-substituídos como blocos de construção em química supramolecular / Meso-substituted dypirrin ligands as building blocks in supramolecular chemistry

Um terceiro intermediário, bisdipirrometeno (5) foi sintetizado e oxidado resultando no ligante bisdipirrometeno (6) parcialmente oxidado. Essas moléculas foram caracterizadas através das técnicas de 1HRMN e MS. Realizou-se a síntese com complexo [CulL24]que foi caracterizado por FT-IR, espectroscopia no UV-Vis e MS. Comparando-se os dados de UV-Vis com os resultados de TD-DFT, um modelo de quatro orbitais moleculares de simetria "Pi" foi proposto para a interpretação dos espectros eletrônicos dos ligantes (2), (4), e (6) e do complexo, similar ao já existente para porfirinas. Também foram estudadas via modelagem molecular três supermoléculas distintas derivadas dos ligantes sintetizados, duas lineares e uma em forma de grade. As estruturas e distâncias entre os centros metálicos (entre 12,6 A e 20,2 A) foram então comparadas / Abstract: Abstract: In this work, three ligands and its intermediaries were synthesized and caracterized (5-phenildipyrromethene (2), 5-(4-pyridil)dipyrromethene (6) and bisdipyrromethene (4)), aiming a future complexation of each one of them with transition metals to form metallic complexes. The ligands (4), (6) and its intermediaries have two coordination sites in their structures, making them interesting for coordination polymers and metal organic frameworks synthesis. The intermediaries were synthesized and caracterized by hydrogen nuclear magnetic ressonance (1H NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS). The ligands (2), (4) and (6) were obtained through the oxidation of their respectives intermediaries, with (2) and (6) being known in the literature, while there are no reports of the ligand (4). The final products were caracterized also by 1H NMR and MS. With the ligand \pyreno \ caracterized, we performed the complexation of this ligand with copper, originating the complex [Cu(4-pyrdpm)2], caracterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), UV-Vis spectroscopy and MS. Dipirrometenos, 2-ariloilpirróis e derivados de bis-imidazol : síntese, caracterização e seus compostos de coordenação / Dipyrrins, 2-aryloylpyrroles and bis (imidazole) derivatives : synthesis, characterization and their coordination compounds

Após diversas tentativas de síntese do 5-fenildipirrometeno pela rota tradicional, obteve-se o produto desejado porém em baixíssimos rendimentos. Os 2-ariloilpirróis foram sintetizados com sucesso partindo-se de cloreto de ácido e pirrol, obtendo-se assim o 2-benzoil-3,5-dimetilpirrol (2-bz-pirrol) e o 2-isonicotinoil-3,5-dimetilpirrol (2-pypirrol) como produtos. Os compostos foram caracterizados por DRX de monocristal, MS, IV, UV-Vis e H e C RMN. Realizaram-se ensaios biol'ogicos com os ligantes obtidos, assim como com os complexos de Cu(II) destes ligantes. Outro ligante, tridentado, o 2,6-bis(imdazol-2-il)piridina (impy) foi sintetizado com sucesso e utilizado na síntese de um complexo inédito de cobre. Sua estrutura também foi determinada por difracão de raios X de monocristal, dentre outras técnicas, revelando uma estrutura binuclear não usual formada por uma ponte de cloreto / Abstract: In this work we present the synthesis of three new ligands derived from pyrrole and imidazole subunits, along with their Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes. After many attempts to achieve the synthesis of 5-phenyldipyrromethene using the classical method, we obtained the desired product but in very low yields. Two 2- ariloylpyrroles have been synthesized from the acid chloride and pyrrole, achieving both 2-benzoyl-3,5-dimethylpyrrole (2-bz-pirrol) and 2-isonicotinoyl-3,5-dimethylpyrrole (2-py-pirrol) as products. These compunds were charactherized by single crystal XRD, MS, FTIR, UV-Vis and H e C NMR. Biological assays were performed with the obtained ligands and their Cu(II) complexes. Another ligand, tridentate, 2,6-bis(imdazole-2-yl)pyridine (impy) was successfully synthesized and used in the achievement of a novel Cu(II) complex. Its structure was also determined by single crystal XRD, among with other techniques, revealing an unusual chloride bridged binuclear structure / Mestrado / Quimica Inorganica / Mestre em Química
