Parní turbína pro solární elektrárnu / Steam Turbine for Solar Power Station

Trávníček, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the master’s thesis is a design of double casing condensing steam turbine with gearbox, reheat and with power output 110 MW for solar power station. The steam turbine has an axial output to the air cooled condenser. The design of the turbine is developed on the basis of concept of Doosan Skoda Power company. It is the main reason this turbine has the impulse blading. There are heat calculation and calculation of heat balance diagram in the first part of the thesis. The system of regeneration consist of three Low Pressure Feedwater Heaters (L.P. FWH), deaerator, and two High Pressure Feedwater Heaters (H.P. FWH). The next part of the thesis is focused on a flow path section of turbine. There is a selection of profile of turbine blades at this part, too. The basic design and strength calculation are available only for high-speed high pressure (HP) part of turbine, as an assignment of the thesis says. There is heat balance diagram for 75 % of nominal power output at the end of thesis. The drawing of longitudinal section of HP part of turbine is the main appendix of this thesis.

Hårdfräsning i verktygsstål : Förslitning av skäregg / Tough cutting of tool steel : Wear of cuttning edge

Johansson, Torbjörn January 2010 (has links)

This thesis work is made by Torbjörn Johansson on Karlstad University for Uddeholms AB. The assignment in this thesis work was to investigate tough cutting in three different tool steels: Vanadis 4 Extra, Vancron 40 and Sverker 21. The research was to compare the wear of the tool after cutting in each one of the tool steel alloys. The research was also made to see if the tool cutting in Vancron 40 has a better wear than the tool cutting in Vanadis 4 Extra and also compare the results with Sverker 21. All three of these alloys are a part of Uddeholms AB:s range of products, and is used in applications like forming tools and knife tools.

Vancron 40 is a powder steel with a very good combination of mechanical properties like ductility, adhesive strength and hardness. But it is difficult to cut, mill and manufacture Vancron 40, and it also has a high material cost. Parní turbína pro pohon drtičky v cukrovaru / Steam Turbine to Drive the Crusher in the Sugar Factory

Ruzsík, Erik January 2019 (has links)
The thesis is focused on designing of backpressure steam turbine to drive the crusher in the sugar factory having the power input of the 2 200 kW. Thermodynamic calculation of two conceptual variations is gradually implemented in the thesis with the aim to determine the steam mass flow through the turbine. In the first version the control stage is selected as an A-wheel and in the second version as a Curtis wheel. The stage part of both versions consists of series action stages. Furthermore, it contains basic design of the gland steam system and the nozzle control system. Both radial and thrust bearings are designed based on the acting forces. The thesis also includes strength calculation of the selected components. The final part deals with comparison and evaluation of the optimal solution. Due to the small difference in rotor weight (m =19,72 kg), and especially for the less steam consumption (M = 4,87 kg/s), the first version can be considered as an optimal solution. This thesis is amended by a mechanical drawing of the turbine cross section on a common frame with a gearbox.

Checklista för start av kall ångturbin via HMI på Örtoftaverket : Doosan Skoda MTD30 & ABB 800xA DCS

Leimalm, Jonas, Partanen, Kristian January 2017 (has links)

Uherek, Jan January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on designing impulse stage steam turbine to be used as the feed pump drive. I consecutively carried out thermodynamic calculation, seals and bearings layouts, with the aim to determine the steam mass flow through the turbine. Furthermore, I conducted turbine blade toughness check-ups, determined the rotor critical rotational speed, check-up rotor critical place (bearing pin) for torsion, and created a clutch screws design. The final part of this thesis pursues the other operating states of the turbine. This thesis is amended by a mechanical drawing of the turbine transection.
