Typologie spotřebitelů na trhu s drogistickým zbožím / Typology of consumers

MATĚJKOVÁ, Jana January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this work was to identify and describe the main segments and individual types of customers of the drugstore chains on the basis of their identity and consumption behaviour and subsequently to make suggestions and recommendations for drugstore chains. The whole thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the literature review, which was based on the study of professional books and articles. It presents the basic definitions and concepts related to the issue. It mentions the term consumer, consumer behaviour, describes basic approaches to consumer behaviour monitoring, factors influencing consumer behaviour, purchasing decision-making process, market segmentation and consumer typology in various aspects. In the practical part, quantitative marketing research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey. Based on the results, consumer segmentation was performed according to demographic features such as gender and age, as well as the preferred drugstore brand. Each segment was analysed and described in detail in terms of purchasing behavior and based on the resulting data, some suggestions and recommendations for drugstore chains were created.

A needs analysis of relevant stakeholders on a short course in homoeopathy for pharmacy front shop assistants in the greater Durban area

Mavela, Nokhuthula Hloniphani January 2016 (has links)
Submitted in partial compliance with the requirements of the degree of Master of Technology: Homoeopathy, Durban University of Technology, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, 2016. / INTRODUCTION: Homoeopathy is a medical system that offers a gentle approach to healing. In the Republic of South Africa, homoeopathic medicines are readily available in most retail pharmacies, hyper-stores, supermarkets and health shops. It is common and expected that in a pharmacy setting, one will find a qualified pharmacist dispensing medicines he/she is highly knowledgeable about, as well as advising customers/patients on the indication, administration and contraindications of these medicines. With this premise in mind, where complementary and alternative medicines are sold, we ideally expect qualified personnel dispensing and advising customers on the use of complementary and alternative medicines also not only conventional medicines. At the time of conducting this study, the knowledge of pharmacy staff was questionable pertaining to the depth of homoeopathic knowledge they possess, as there is limited formal training available on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in their curriculum in South Africa. It has been noted that, prior to the development of short courses, a needs analysis should be conducted. AIM OF THE STUDY: To investigate the needs of pharmacy front shop assistants when dealing with homoeopathic medicines with the prospect of developing a short course. METHODOLOGY: The research was a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory study. A measurement of views on what homoeopathy is, where pharmacy staff currently attain training on homoeopathy, and perceptions on the need for further training were conducted by means of a semi structured interview guide. Tesch’s Eight Step method was utilised for data analysis. CONCLUSION: The study clearly highlighted that there exists a poor level of knowledge of homoeopathy amongst pharmacy staff in the greater Durban area of KwaZulu-Natal South Africa, at the time of conducting the study. Despite low knowledge levels, the study was able to establish a keen interest amongst pharmacy staff on furthering and advancing their knowledge of homoeopathy to better serve the public and improve the quality of health care offered by pharmacy staff. / M

O circuito superior marginal: produção de medicamentos e o território brasileiro / The marginal superior system: the production of medicines and the Brazilian territory

Bicudo Junior, Edison Claudino 06 November 2006 (has links)
This work aims to explore the concept of marginal superior system, proposed by Milton Santos in 1975. This concept does reference to an economic subsystem that is presented in cities of Third World. In this subsystem we can find actions that are at the same time linked to the rationalities of the modernization and endowed with small contents in terms of technique, science, and information. Thus, hybrid actions emerge, expressing as global and instrumental rationalities as local and communicational rationalities. In order to develop this study, we are concerned about the production of medicines in the Brazilian territory. Though we consider the new conditions of hegemony from the multinational laboratories, we focused the situation of small laboratories. These latter ones develop less complex productions and employ less sophisticated techniques and information. Besides, they are submitted to the political control of the hegemonic actors, especially based on the normative tools that rule the actions in the territory. Thus, the small laboratories constitute, for the pharmaceutical activity, a marginal superior system. Our study aims to understand the linkages between this system and the built environment in several Brazilian urban situations.

Dalla Valle, Pedro Brandão January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation analyzes the impact of the climate on the sale of medicines and hygiene and beauty products in the pharmaceutical channel of southern Brazil. For this purpose, daily sales data of 262 pharmacies were collected, representing more than 80 million commercial transactions, and meteorological data for 26 cities in the region through the Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia during the January 2012 and June 2016. Using the fixed-effects panel data model, a methodology characterized by the combined use of time series and cross-sections, it is estimated that the variables with the greatest influence on sales are temperature and precipitation. However, as we will see, the effects of these variables are not uniform among the most diverse types of products observed, thus the segmentation of the panel in 17 categories of medicines and 18 categories of hygiene and beauty is necessary.

This marketing strategy often extends the benefits of using and hides the problems related to the administration of these technologies. The objective of this work is to verify the service of the advertisement directed to the lay public conveyed in community pharmacies to the RDC nº 96/2008. In addition, we investigated the perception of users about the impact of advertising on self-medication and whether non-compliance with legislation could expose the user to risks. Between January and June of 2016 were visited 72 pharmacies for the collection of publicity pieces and simultaneous interviews with 384 users. We analyzed 379 unpublished pieces. For 97.7% of the interviewed, drug advertising has some influence on the choice of people and for 75% of the people who noticed the existence of the advertisement within the pharmacy, it exerted influence on their choice. About 99.5% of the advertising pieces contained some type of irregularity with an average of 5.1 irregularities per piece. The drugs with action in the gastrointestinal tract (24.6%), analgesics and / or antipyretics (24.5%) and polyvitamins (22.8%) are among the classes that are most advertised and those that are most acquired by Self-medication. The results show the need to revise the legislation and the current regulatory model, since, despite the fact that advertising reaches and influences the great majority of the studied population, the quality of the advertisement remains worrying and remains a health risk once That the pieces tend to enhance the practice of self-medication by hiding risks and overvaluing benefits from information, often unfounded and untrue
