Optimalizace sklonu fotovoltaického modulu / Optimalization of tilt of photovoltaic module

Šindler, Roman January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with the solar radiation, which is one of the potential sources of the renewable energy. The purpose of this thesis is to apprise of the methods how to calculate the Sun’s position as well as to learn the basics of software VEE Pro 8.0. Also, create a program simulating the location of the Sun during the day according to the variable latitudes and days and consequently to calculate the Sun irradiation passing through the atmosphere onto the tilted solar module, considering the respective tilt. Theoretical part describes the transmition of the energy between Sun and Earth, global irradiation and its components, which are generated by beams passing through the atmosphere and incident on a solar module. Practical part is dedicated to a program creation according the theoretical basis and it is used for further simulation of the Sun’s position. Another program simulates the total daily and annual irradiation including its components onto the tilted solar module, considering the respective tilt.

Vytvoření modulu jádra a konfigurace síťového serveru pro operační systém Linux / Kernel module definition and networking server configuration for Linux operating system

Pecho, Ladislav January 2010 (has links)
The goal of my work is to create two computer labs lessons. The first one is a guide in writing a simple Linux kernel module, and in making a file inside the procfs filesystem. The content of the file can be decided as late as at the moment of reading. The second lesson describes the configuration of a server which allows a computer to boot over network. DHCP server is used with a TFTP server for file transfers which are both handled by the dnsmasq program. The example configuration will display a menu on the client station. It is possible to select to boot either a Linux kernel, floppy disk image, Linux network installer, diagnostic tool Memtest, or a text mode game Grub Invaders. The chosen bootloader is pxelinux from the syslinux project.

Pružnostní a pevnostní charakteristiky lepeného nosníku využívajícího recyklovaného dřeva

Syrovátko, Jakub January 2019 (has links)
The subject of the thesis was the analysis of recycled wood for the use of glued beams on selected mechanical properties. Recycled wood was used for this research. Test specimens, ie lamellas with dimensions of 2000 × 80 × 20 mm, were made of both recycled wood and healthy wood, which was subsequently glued into a laminated beam, always after an odd number of layers; 2000 × 80 × 100 mm. Subsequently, values of tensile strength and modulus of elasticity in cross-fiber compression were determined experimentally. The measured data were statistically analyzed and the results discussed and compared with the literature.

Elasticitetsmodulen i en kalkstabiliserad vägterrass : en fältstudie / The elastic modulus in a lime stabilized subgrade : a study of the spatial variability

Olofsson Augustsson, Erik January 2010 (has links)
Stabilization of subgrade is an internationally common technique to improve the characteristics of a soft soil. Improving the stiffness and bearing capacity of the subgrade enables the pavement to be designed with reduced depths of subbase and basecourse aggregates. This makes the stabilization technique both economically and environmentally interesting. Both natural and stabilized soils have high inherent property variability that should be considered when the characteristic value is derived. By analyzing the spatial variability in stabilized and natural subgrades it is possible get the parameters needed for reliability–based modeling of soil properties. I order to do so, three statistical parameters need to be evaluated, i.e. the mean, the variance and the scale of fluctuation, which is the distance within which soil properties show relatively strong correlation. The objective of this thesis is to study different devises for determining the elastic modulus of subgrade and to study the spatial variability of the elastic modulus. With knowledge of this it is possible to optimize the testing. The different devises used in the field investigations was the light weight deflectometer (LWD), surface seismic and static plate loading. The different devices were used because they take measurements at different load- and strain levels. Another aim was to investigate correlations between moduli determined by the different devices. This thesis is a part of a research project at Skanska about subgrade stabilization. The field studies were performed in Tygelsjö, south of Malmö, and the soil type was claytill. Two test areas, each 7x15 m, were stabilized with 6 % respective 4 % hydrated lime and two test areas, each 4x15 m, were left unstabilized. Totally 133 test points were investigated with the LWD and surface seismic and 11 static plate load tests were performed. With geostatistical analyses of the experimental results the scale of fluctuation with respect to the elastic modulus has been evaluated to approximately 1,3 m. That means only points within 1,3 m reveal relative strong correlation. In practice this means that subsidence due to less stiffness in the stabilized subgrade will not be extensive in the surface. Therefore it’s not economically rational to design the pavement with respect to small areas with low stiffness in the subgrade. Comparison between the LWD and the static plate load test showed that ELWD is on average 2 times greater than EV2. No correlations with the surface seismic were found. One influencing factor on the LWD measurements was the drop height. ELWD decreased with increasing drop height but only on the unstabilized subgrade. This thesis also shows how the characteristic value of the elastic modulus could be evaluated with statistical methods where the evaluation will depend on the number of measurements, the variability of the measurements and the variance reduction factor which in turn depends on the scale of fluctuation and the size of the mechanical system. This type of evaluation could be used as basis for reliability based design and design according to the observational method according to Eurocode 7. /
QC 20100706

Vliv opracování a máčení na frekvenčně-rezonanční vlastnosti dřevěných nosníků reálných rozměrů

Janda, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This paper examines the influence of processing on the acoustic properties of the wooden beams. Hewn beams and sawn beams were examined. Hewn beams were divided into three groups at two moisture content levels. Timber properties were determined by measuring the resonant frequencies. First part of the text is focused on the oscillatory motion and behavior of vibrating solids. Furthermore, there is a description of acoustic properties of wood and the possibility of using these properties when determining the mechanical properties. The next chapter is devoted to non-destructive testing of wood, which often uses acoustic methods.

The Impact of an Academic Integrity Module and Turnitin on Similarity Index Scores of Undergraduate Student Papers

Ballard, Iva B 11 May 2013 (has links)
The researcher of this quasi-experimental 2 x 2 factorial design study investigated the impact of an academic integrity module and Turnitin on undergraduate student similarity index scores. Similarity index scores were used to measure suggested plagiarism rates of student papers. The purposive sample was made up of 96 undergraduate education students enrolled in four sections of the same course in a Southeastern university. One main factor was submitting assignments through Turnitin, with two levels: yes or no. The second factor was completing the academic integrity module, with two levels: yes or no. The four intact groups were randomly assigned to the main factors. Although the findings from this study indicated that neither main factor nor their interaction were statistically significant at the .05 alpha level, the mean similarity index score of participants who submitted their paper through Turnitin was lower than the mean similarity index score of participants who did not submit their papers through Turnitin. Similarly, the mean similarity index score of participants who completed the academic integrity module was lower than the mean similarity index score of participants who did not complete the academic integrity module. Although not at the statistically significant level, the plagiarism rate as measured by the mean similarity index score of the group of participants who completed the academic integrity module and submitted papers through Turnitin was the lowest followed by the group of participants that completed the academic integrity module but did not submit papers through Turnitin, then the group of participants that did not complete the academic integrity module and did not submit papers through Turnitin. The group of participants who did not complete the academic integrity module but submitted papers through Turnitin had the highest mean similar index score suggesting a higher plagiarism rate as compared to the other groups. Finally, the researcher acknowledged the limitations of this study and made recommendations for future consideration. Other variables such as gender, demographics, major, and credit hours completed could be investigated. Replication of the study is recommended. Also, a qualitative approach could enhance future studies.

Cohen-Macaulayovy moduly nad jednoduchými singularitami / Cohen-Macaulay modules over simple singularities

Zhang, Yifan January 2022 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules over simple singular- ities. Previous results on the topic are summarised, and in particular it is shown that a hypersurface is MCM-finite if and only if it is a simple singularity. The stable Auslander- Reiten quivers of simple singularities are drawn for better understanding of the category of maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules over a simple singularity. 1
