Por?m, a crescente urbaniza??o, muitas vezes com uma ocupa??o de solo desordenada, vem desconsiderando esses conhecimentos e desrespeitando as caracter?sticas locais, reduzindo drasticamente as ?reas verdes. Esta ocupa??o desordenada, associada ? redu??o de espa?os verdes, vem modificando os aspectos do clima e, consequentemente, prejudicando o conforto t?rmico dos usu?rios. Perante esse panorama nasceu o questionamento: Quais estrat?gias projetuais podem trazer melhores condi??es t?rmicas a uma edifica??o educacional situada em regi?o de clima quente e ?mido? Assim, diante de dois importantes assuntos, educa??o e conforto ambiental, a pesquisa justifica-se pelo fato de existir uma grande demanda nacional por amplia??es e reformas nas suas redes p?blicas de ensino, mas que na maioria n?o oferece aos alunos espa?os com qualidade para o bom desenvolvimento da aprendizagem. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a elabora??o de um projeto para institui??o de Ensino Fundamental com a aplica??o dos conceitos da bioclimatologia, destacando o uso da vegeta??o como elemento regulador do clima. Inicialmente realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliogr?fica, analisou-se solu??es arquitet?nicas e definiu-se o local. Na fase seguinte, denominada de compreens?o, foram levantadas as leis, normas e os condicionantes ambientais. Posteriormente, foi definido o programa de necessidades e o desenvolvimento do projeto arquitet?nico. A conclus?o desse trabalho apresenta a defini??o de crit?rios e solu??es para o emprego da vegeta??o, para projetos de arquitetura bioclim?tica em climas quente e ?mido e contribui com um cat?logo de esp?cies vegetais para as escolas da regi?o metropolitana do Natal, RN. / In the design of a building process must consider climatic variations in the region, the external conditions and the use of available resources in nature, like the sun, vegetation, rain and winds, to provide a built environment with comfort and environment reduced energy expenditure. However, increasing urbanization, often with an occupancy of disordered ground comes disregarding this knowledge and disregarding local characteristics, drastically reducing the green areas. This disordered occupation associated with the reduction of green spaces, is modifying aspects of climate and thus, damaging the thermal comfort of users. Given this situation was born the question: What projetuais strategies can bring better thermal conditions to an educational building located in a region of hot and humid weather? Thus, faced with two important issues , education and environmental comfort , the research is justified by the fact that there is a large national demand for expansions and renovations in its public schools , but not in most areas provides students with quality for good learning development. This paper aims to draw up a project for establishment of Primary Education with the application of the concepts of bioclimatic, highlighting the use of vegetation as a regulatory element of the climate. Initially we carried out a literature search; we analyzed architectural solutions and set up the site. The next phases, called understanding, were raised with the laws, rules and environmental restrictions. Subsequently, the program needs and the development of architectural design was defined. The conclusion of this paper presents the definition of criteria and solutions for the use of vegetation to design of bioclimatic architecture in hot and humid climates and contributes a catalog of plant species for schools in the metropolitan region of Natal, RN.

Projeto de um edif?cio para fins educacionais com foco na racionaliza??o do consumo de ?gua

Along with natural scarcity in some regions, this is one of the factors that limit the availability of drinking water. As a result, the conservation of drinking water is becoming one of the major concerns in sustainable architectural projects. Within this context, this dissertation proposes to develop the design of an educational building focusing on water consumption rationalization. The proposed project is located in UFRN Campus at Currais Novos, an area of warm and dry climate and low rainfall. The proposal seeks to integrate ways to reduce water consumption o to architecture, in order to exploit the advantages and savings. After quantifying the benefits achieved, it was concluded that it is possible to reduce significantly the drinking water consumption in educational buildings in universities using three principles: reduction the water consumption at the point of use, replacement of the water source and internal recycling. Calculations and simulations indicated that the proposed building may have water consumption up to 56% lower than if it would be provided by conventional facilities. Rationalization of water consumption brings direct and indirect benefits, with influences on the environmental, social and economic fields / O crescimento urbano sem a infraestrutura pr?via tem provocado diversos impactos ambientais, como o comprometimento da qualidade das reservas h?dricas nas cidades. Juntamente com a escassez natural em certas regi?es, este ? um dos fatores que limitam a disponibilidade de ?gua para consumo. Em fun??o disso, a conserva??o da ?gua pot?vel vem se tornando uma das principais preocupa??es nos projetos arquitet?nicos sustent?veis. Dentro deste contexto, este trabalho se prop?e a desenvolver um projeto de arquitetura para um edif?cio de ensino superior com foco na racionaliza??o do consumo de ?gua. O projeto proposto situa-se no campus da UFRN no munic?pio de Currais Novos, ?rea de clima quente e seco e de baixa pluviometria. A proposta busca integrar medidas de redu??o do consumo de ?gua ? arquitetura, com a finalidade de explorar quais as vantagens trazidas e a economia alcan?ada. Ap?s a quantifica??o de benef?cios das medidas adotadas, constatouse que ? poss?vel reduzir significantemente o consumo de ?gua pot?vel nos edif?cios educacionais em universidades utilizando-se tr?s princ?pios: redu??o do consumo de ?gua no ponto de utiliza??o, substitui??o da fonte de ?gua e reciclagem interna. Os c?lculos e simula??es realizadas indicaram que a edifica??o proposta pode ter um consumo at? 56% menor do que se fosse provida por instala??es hidrossanit?rias convencionais.
