Η περιοχή που μελετήθηκε βρίσκεται στην δυτική πελλοπόνησο και συγκεκριμένα δυτικά του νομού Ηλείας και αφορά την λεκάνη του Ενιπέα. Ο Ενιπέας είναι παραπόταμος του Αλφειού. Η έκταση κυμαίνεται περίπου στα 65 km² και πρόκειται για μια αγροτική περιοχή. Στόχος της εργασίας αυτής είναι η μελέτη των υδροφόρων οριζόντων της περιοχής καθώς και η ανάλυση της ποιότητας του νερού των υδροφόρων στρωμάτων. Γί αυτό το λόγο περιγράφονται οι γεωλογικοί και τεκτονικοί σχηματισμοί, ενώ στην συνέχεια αναλύεται η υδρολογιά και υδρογεωλογία της περιοχής με τους αντίστοιχους βροχομετρικούς χάρτες και προς το τέλος εξάγονται συμπεράσματα σχετικά με την ποιότητα του νερού ύστερα απο συλλογή δειγμάτων και αναλυσή τους. / --

Neznámý harfový manuskript od Elias Pari sh Alvarse v archivu Českého muzea hudby v Praze / An unknown Manuscript for a Harp by Elias Parish Alvars in the czech Muzeum of MusicCarrara, Simona January 2012 (has links)
Until now among the works catalogue of the harpist and composer Elias Perish Alvars there was no trace of a composition called " Grande Fantasie sur des Airs Nationaux Anglais" for solo harp. We have found it in the library archive of the Czech Museum of Music in Prague: it is a manuscript autographed by the composer, dated 1843 and never publishe before.The main section of the dissertation regards the manuscript itself. The studying of it has been faced from a formal, harmonic, stylistic and historic point of view. After an introduction about the "Fantasia" every air is examined in detail, without leaving out the historic information behind every section. The most important part is then the critical edition of the manuscript that respects very carefully all the indications made by Parish Alvars in person.After a section to the enchanting figure of the composer, his life, works and the period he had lived in, the work gives references also to the double action pedal harp that had the main role in the harp music harp since its patent of 18140. The "Grande Fantasie" interesting discovery is composition and we are glad to present it in this dissertation work.

Intellectual networks, language and knowledge under colonialism : the work of Stephan Stephan, Elias Haddad and Tawfiq Canaan in Palestine, 1909-1948Irving, Sarah Rosalind January 2018 (has links)
This thesis examines the biographies and intellectual and cultural works of Elias Haddad, Stephan Stephan and Tawfiq Canaan, Arab writers who lived in Jerusalem in the late Ottoman and British Mandate periods, a time when Palestinian identity was in a state of flux and when Ottoman, British and Zionist interests impacted upon Palestinian Arab society, economy and politics. Informed by ideas about colonial and postcolonial relations, the impacts of context and power on the development of texts, and theories of networks and entanglements, it argues that even in the absence of comprehensive biographical knowledge about individual actors, we can locate them in their intellectual and political environments. It also argues for the importance of using non-elite genres – including language manuals, travel guides and translations – in researching intellectual history, and for understanding debates and discourses within colonial societies. Drawing on my historical research into the lives of Haddad, Stephan and Canaan, and combining it with textual analysis, this thesis makes the argument for more diverse ideas of Palestinian identity than are often discussed for the Mandate period, and for the need to include a wider range of contributors than prominent intellectuals and politicians in our assessment of the discourses in play in this key period of Palestinian history.

Assim, escolho um entre muitos caminhos possíveis, ou seja, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar as características humanísticas e as concepções e bases filosóficas presentes no sistema de pensamento de Norbert Elias. Isto ocorreu por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, com obras que relatam o modo de seu pensamento e, por fim, pelos interpretes que servem de auxilio, fonte de confronto de informações e ideias para compreender a teoria e o sistema de pensamento de Elias. O percurso que será seguido é o de discorrer sobre o tipo de humanismo presente nas obras de Elias. A seguir, encontrar as bases e concepções filosóficas tentando contrapor, comparar e legitimar, utilizando as leituras realizadas pelos interpretes com o intuito de decodificar o sistema do pensamento de Elias e, por conseguinte, buscar as características humanísticas presentes em suas obras. Em suma, este trabalho pretende mostrar que o pensamento do sociólogo alemão Norbert Elias possui características humanísticas que permeiam as suas obras e consequentemente o seu modo de pensar, podendo assim afirmar que ele é um humanista na concepção filosófica. Embora aderimos à concepção de que, no limite, a Filosofia da Educação é uma antropologia filosófica e nos remetamos ao humanismo, não tomamos essa definição e esse tema como um meio de identificar, de antemão, a concepção de Elias, ou de pré-concebê-la; ao contrário, tencionamos priorizar, como objeto, a própria obra do autor, produzida entre 1930 e 1990. Por meio da interpretação dos textos selecionados, reconstituiremos sua concepção humanística, identificando as suas fontes filosóficas. / Norbert Elias’s work allows various analyses and interpretations and authors are used to analyzing and exploring it based on distinct theoretical points of reference.Thus, I have chosen one among the many possible ways, that is, this research was carried out to analyze the humanistic features and the philosophical concepts and bases found in Norbert Elias’s thought system. That was accomplished by means of bibliographical research, with works which mention the mode of his thinking and, finally, by the interpreters who serve as aid, source of confrontation of information and ideas in order to understand Elias’s theory and thought system. The course to be followed is to run through the type of humanism found in Elias’s works. Afterwards, to find out the philosophical bases and concepts trying to oppose, compare, and justify the readings carried out by those interpreters in order to decode Elias’s thought system and, consequently, seek the humanistic features found in his works.In short, this research was carried out to show that the thought of the German sociologist Norbert Elias presents many humanistic features which permeate his works and, consequently, his way of thinking, and one could even confirm that he is a humanist in his philosophical conception. Although we agree with the idea that, within compass , Philosophy of Education is a philosophical anthropology and we refer to humanism, we neither take that definition and that subject as a means to previously identify Elias’s concepts, nor preconceive it; on the contrary, we intend to give priority, as subject, to the author’s own work, written from 1930 to 1990. By interpreting selected texts, we will re-establish his humanistic conception, identifying his philosophical sources.

É comum, porém, ex-atletas, campeões consagrados, conhecedores da modalidade, exercerem a função de técnico provisionado, mesmo não tendo o título Acadêmico. Levando em conta que o judô é uma prática corporal que se tornou esporte ao longo de sua disseminação no ocidente, e que se identifica uma influência esportivista no âmago da prática de seus instrutores/ técnicos, apresentamos como objetivo deste estudo, investigar a relação da iniciação competitiva precoce com a formação do técnico de judô, tendo como objetivos específicos: 1) a representatividade da competição desportiva em relação aos valores específicos da modalidade; 2) a relação entre iniciação competitiva precoce e a longevidade ou o abandono precoce da modalidade; 3) a relação dos resultados competitivos com a formação e/ ou prestígio do técnico de judô. A abordagem metodológica foi a quali-quantitativa por meio do estudo de caso, sendo a fonte documental obtida no site da Federação Paulista de Judô, e restrita a atletas que medalharam inicialmente no Campeonato Paulista de judô na classe Infantil (09 e 10 anos) nos anos de 1999, 2000 e 2001, e cujos resultados foram analisados até 2011. Os dados qualitativos foram coletados por meio de questionários. Os resultados quantitativos apontaram que 65% da amostra de 103 atletas interromperam sua participação com resultados competitivos (conquistas de medalhas) no Campeonato Paulista com apenas 12 anos de idade, sugerindo que as conquistas de medalhas durante a infância não garantiram a continuidade dos resultados obtidos inicialmente até a vida adulta, porém contribuíram para a evasão em termos de... / The Physical Education course includes many types of knowledge, the scientific being one of them, necessary for the constitution of the profession, reason why the Law 9696/98 was promulgated. Still, it is common for former athletes, established champions, and people knowledgeable in the modality, to function as provisioned coaches, even without an academic title. Considering that judo is a bodily practice that became a sport through its western dissemination, and in which a sportive influence can be identified in the essence of its practitioners/coaches’ practice, the objective of this study was to investigate the relation of the early competitive initiation with the professional education of the judo coach, with the following specific objectives: 1) the representativeness of the sport competition with the values specific to the modality; 2) the relation between early competitive initiation and the longevity or abandonment of the modality; 3) the relation of the competitive results with the education or prestige of the judo coach. The study had a qualitative methodological approach through the use of a case study, with the documental source being obtained in the Federação Paulisa de Judô (Judo Federation of São Paulo) website, and restricted to athletes who initially obtained medals in the Campeonato Paulista de Judô (Judo Championship of São Paulo) in the juvenile class (09 and 10 years of age) in the years of 1999, 2000 and 2001, and whose results were analyzed up to 2011. The qualitative data was collected through questionnaires. The quantitative results indicated that 65% of the sample from 103 athletes interrupted their participation with competitive results (medals won) in the Campeonato Paulista at mere 12 years of age, suggesting that winning medals during childhood didn’t guarantee the continuity of the...
