Discurso, leitura e produção textual: uma análise discursiva da escrita de pré-universitários / Discourse, Reading and textual production: a discoursive analysis of the writing of pre-university

Luiz André Neves de Brito 03 October 2011 (has links)
This doctoral work is the result of research in discourse analysis that focused on analyzing texts produced in a specific situation assessment, more precisely, essays produced in Standardized College Entrance Exams for the University of São Paulo. The corpus of the research consisted of 346 essays produced by candidates in the first call. The objective was to touch the \"living reality\" of these essays: to analyze the interaction that exists between reading and text production. To show this interaction between reading and writing in the interstices of textual production to pre-university, we assume that language and institutions are constantly intertwined and we speak the words of others to build our speeches. In order to observe how reading is written in the interstices of this discursive practice, we decided to analyze how the enunciative heterogeneity works. The theoretical assumptions that guide this study are based mainly on ideas proposed by Pêcheux, Authier-Revuz, and Maingueneau. In order to analyze how this genre works, we consider the ideas proposed by Bakhtin and Maingueneau. The analysis of the essays revealed: (i) how the activities of reading and text production activities are not watertight in itself. They are in constant interaction; (ii) the activity of reading is a social practice not limited to school walls.

Um mergulho não-linear nas águas do ensino superior em Letras / A no-lineal dive in the waters of the higher education in Letters

Lázaro Donizete Carlsson 24 July 2007 (has links)
Among the several instruments used by the federal government - partly, linked to the neoliberal politics of public administration -, the Exame Nacional de Cursos (ENC) appeared in 1995 with the purpose of maintaining a certain control on the higher education system. In the intention delimiting the product, that is, the discoursive filiations reviewed by the market linked to that formation type, we have constituted a research corpus through the written production of the forming in Letters, target of ENC/2001, and we have accomplished an analysis based in the theory of the enunciative heterogeneities (Authier-Revuz, 1980: 2004, 1982: 2004, 1984: 1990, 1998). Such theory aids us to bound the other(s) that appear(s) in the speech of that forming, future teacher of maternal language, delimiting his/her discoursive filiations. Starting from the analysis, we have concluded that such emerging filiations of his/her text are not only summarized to those views in classroom - as the Traditional Grammar and the Linguistics, for example - but also those supplied by the own subject of ENC/Letters/2001. The appropriation of elements given by the own subject evidences a certain superficiality in the treatment of the contents and demonstrates a tendency of the forming looking for information of easy apprehension but of little durability.

Le discours de la critique littéraire journalistique germanophone : étude du marquage de l’hétérogénéité énonciative et des relations métatextuelles / The discourse of German literary criticism : a study of the enunciative heterogeneity and metatextual relationships in a journalistic genre

Dias, Dominique 24 June 2016 (has links)
Based on a corpus of 436 texts of German book reviews published in five newspapers of non-specialized press during the first half of the year 2012, this study investigates the discourse of German literary criticism. To try and identify constituent characteristics of the review, three areas of research are envisaged: the textual, discursive and metatexual perspectives. Traditionally conceived with regards to function, the notion of text is considered here in terms of shape. By considering the notions of sequences and periods, developed within the text linguistics, this study identifies a reservoir of forms which underpin the composition and the configuration of the reviews. Besides, the discursive perspective allows us to get a sense the speaking subject of the reviews as a transition for speech and knowledge. The literary critic actually benefits from putting himself in an institutional position that marks his/her relation to knowledge in order to have the best influence on the reader. The challenge is to identify possible linguistic markers which serve this argumentative approach. Finally, the metatextual perspective obliges us to conceive the review in its relationship with the source text. The book review is a real dialogue with the criticized book, the criticism explicitly exploits strategies borrowed from the literary and journalistic speeches. Textual processes of repetition such as reformulation, quotation, allusion or contamination threat to undermine the metatext into a hypertext. These three axes allow to approach the review as a genre, in the interface between text and discourse. The results confirm the idea that the genre must be approached not in a static way, as a list of invariants, but in a dynamic way, as the product of the interference of several discursive genres. Finally, what is at stake is a better understanding of the production and of the reception of the reviews.
