Die Veranlassung von Prüfungen als Entscheidungsproblem

Richter, Martin January 1978 (has links)

THE EX-DIVIDEND DAY STOCK PRICE BEHAVIOR : FTSE 100 of the London Stock Exchange

Anagho, Zillah, Tah, Kenneth January 2007 (has links)
In this thesis, we have analyzed the ex-dividend stock price behavior in the London Stock Exchange to see if the stock prices really drop by the same amount as the dividend on the ex-dividend day. Our sample data covers 80 FTSE100 companies of the London stock exchange for the period 2001 to 2006. To answer the research question: Do returns on the London Stock Exchange act in accordance with the efficient market hypothesis on the ex-dividend day? We used a deductive approach and test four hypothesis. The study was carried out by comparing the actual value of the raw price ratio, market adjusted price ratio, raw price drop and market adjusted price drop to their theoretical values. The difference was tested for significance using the one sample t-test. The results showed that there are significant differences in the observed figures from their theoretical or expected values. The observed raw price ratio is higher than the expected value of 1, implying that the stock price on the ex-dividend day drops by an amount that is lower than the dividend paid. Similarly, the market adjusted raw price ratio is also higher than the expected value of 1. The raw price drop and market adjusted price drop are lower than the dividend yield, indicating again that the stock price drops by an amount that is lower than the dividend paid. Our results indicated that the null hypotheses stated are rejected since the drop in the stock prices is not equal to the amount of the dividend on the ex-dividend day.

Ex-ante Control Mechanisms against Opportunistic Behavior regarding Knowledge Sensitivity of Product (Comparative Case Study)

Grabowska, Kamila, Tabe Mohammadi, Shideh January 2013 (has links)
There is an increasing interest for business organizations to engage into the global inter-firm alliance nowadays. The companies are striving for accessing the opportunities created by emerging markets, diversification of the products’ offer or the access to lower cost inputs (Barnes, et al., 2010). However, along with the benefits, there are also risks that the inter-firm alliances are challenged with. Those risks are represented by various forms of opportunistic behavior, which might be further caused by business partners (Williamson, 1975). The companies that decide to engage into inter-firm alliance need to invest in the implementation of control mechanisms that will protect them against opportunistic behavior. The preventing exante mechanisms can be implemented prior to the official start of cooperation while the cause ex-post mechanisms are applied during further stage of the collaboration. However, due to the cost of these implementations, companies cannot afford employing every available control mechanism. They need to select only the ones that their benefits exceed their costs. One of the main factors that influence the selection process of control mechanisms is the level of knowledge sensitivity of a product. The main objective of this master thesis is to determine how the level of knowledge sensitivity of a product influences the selection of ex-ante control mechanisms.

Bad Religion: How Ex-Mormon Fiction Reinforces Normative Views of American Religion

Blanke, Ilani S 20 December 2012 (has links)
This project examines recent fiction by ex-Mormon authors and highlights how these novels reinforce an American ideal of “good religion.” These texts reveal the boundaries of American religious freedom by illustrating examples of “bad religion” and providing favorable alternatives. The paper looks at scholarship on 19th century anti-Mormon literature, which provides a foundation for the more modern literature at hand. Through the recent narratives, authors point to an abstract concept of benign, acceptable religion, marking as harmful that which does not share these key characteristics. While these fictional sects appear differently in each work, they comment on similar themes, such as the threat of rigid authority structures and figures, community isolation and insulation, coercive proselytizing and manipulation, and an emphasis on escaping the sect. These themes highlight the existence of a particular brand of American “good religion,” which is antithetical to such groups illustrated in these texts.

Triggering Factors for Word-of-Mouth : A case ctudy of Tipp-Ex's viral marketing campaign

Blomström, Richard, Lind, Emilia, Persson, Frida January 2012 (has links)
Purpose: The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to explore what makes an interactive viral marketing campaign effective in terms of Word-of-Mouth. Background: With the growth of Internet, a new force of marketing has developed where the consumer is more involved in the marketing process. This thesis studies the underlying emotions and motivations of consumer incentives to engage in positive Word-of-Mouth, regarding an interactive viral marketing campaign. Method: In order to fulfil the purpose of this study a case study is performed. An inductive approach is followed and qualitative research in the form of a netnography and interviews are used to collect the empirical material that is required in order to answer the given research questions. The netnography was performed on Facebook and ten respondents from the netnographical study were invited to participate in interviews. Conclusion: Based on the frame of reference, a strong relationship was expected between certain emotions and the willingness to share or discuss Tipp-ex’s campaign. However, the results indicate that other variables such as Comprehension and Personalisation might have a greater effect on Word-of-Mouth incentives. Regarding motivations, Message- involvement was found to be the motivation that triggers a consumer to engage in Word-of-Mouth.

Alpstedt, Fredrik, Tladi, Lesedi January 2010 (has links)
Studiens data analyseras i tre steg.

Feger, Claudia 14 December 2005 (has links) (PDF)
