Rodina dítěte se SPU / The Family of a child with specific learning disorders

The thesis follows the family context of specific learning disorders. The theoretic part describes the problem of specific learning disorders, their tokens, causes, diagnostics and corrective remedies. The thesis also focuses on role of parents in the context of the problems of learning disturbances and of the stress that is connected with these problems. Experimental part follows the families of children with learning disturbances. By virtue of qualitative research it describes how the parents accept the learning disturbance diagnosis of their children, how they approach to the remedy and how they manage the problem of stress. The last part is made up by supplements containing the illustrations of interviews that have been used during the research.

Internationalization of Family Firms : The effect of family-specific resourceson internationalization decisions

Background: Sweden is known for encouraging entrepreneurship where 99.9% of the business organizations are SMEs. Including Sweden, several other countries in the world provide significant importance to family firms, as their contribution is noteworthy to the global economy. Due to numerous reasons such as globalization and growth aspects, FSMEs are forced to gain competitive advantage through international diversification. Internationalization of FSMEs can be influenced by unique characteristics of family firms.Purpose: Internationalization is a process where the decision of internationalization can be affected by several factors including resources. Among unique characteristics of family firms, FSMEs also possess family-specific resources that may influence these decisions. Hence the purpose of this study is to gain an in-depth understanding on which and how family-specific resources influence internationalization decisions.Method: With the use of a single case study method, we gained valuable insight of a Swedish candy manufacturing family firm which engaged in internationalization successfully. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, company website, published press interviews, press articles and other databases.Conclusion: Internationalization can be a daunting decision for family firms where availability of resources play a major role. The key family-specific resources that influenced the decision of internationalization of the family firm studied in this thesis were bridging social capital, human capital and governance capital. The remaining capitals may have contributed to the internationalization process. Other than the family-specific resources, factors such as generational change and ability to gain substantial financial support in further influenced their internationalization decisions. These findings likewise confirm the existence of heterogeneity of family firms which makes them unique.

TITLE: Perception and coping with the specific learning disabilities impacts on everyday life of children with this diagnosis. ABSTRACT This text is focused on recognition of impacts of the specific learning disabilities on everyday life as the children with this diagnosis themselves see it and the strategies used by these children in order to cope with these disabilities. The theoretical part summarizes the necessary knowledge of the early school age developmental stage, the interaction of a child with the family, and briefly the stress and the coping. The results of last year's mothers of specific learning disabilities diagnosed children research are also presented. The empirical part is based on semi-structured interviews with six children diagnosed with the specific learning disabilities attending fourth or fifth grade of primary school. Based on it's qualitative analysis, the thesis attempts to clarify how the specific learning disabilities diagnosed children perceive and experience the impacts of this disabilities on them and how do they cope with it. Proměny pojetí dítěte v dětství / Transformation of child and childhood

In the content of the dissertation we aim to think of the question if the changes in educational system do influenece the point of view on a child, childhood and child itself. The theoretical part is focused on the research of special, historical and present documents, concerning institutional children education. The practical part examines the subjective opinion of parental public. Subsequently, thanks to the controlled dialog between the teacher and the children, it provides interests and feelings of contemporary children in nursery schools. In conclusion,from the gained information in theoretical part, we would like to determin the elements which have probably influenced the child opinion changes and it's approach. Due to the obtained information analysis and the subjective parental and children opinion comparison, we tried to answer the question how the nowadays children differ from their parents' and grandparents' generation.
