Sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų paslaugų kokybės tyrimo galimybių studija / Research of possibility for service quality methods in sport and fitness center

Darbo objektas – sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų paslaugų kokybės tyrimo galimybių studija. Sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų teikiamų paslaugų kokybė pripažinta vienu iš esminių elementų, turinčių įtaką lankytojų išsaugojimui bei įmonės pelningumo didinimui. Paslaugos kokybės vertinimo modelių taikymas galimas tik įvertinus tinkamumą konkrečiai sričiai: sveikatos, sporto, fizinio aktyvumo, laisvalaikio ir kita. Darbo tikslas – išanalizavus paslaugų kokybės tyrimų metodus, parengti jų taikymo galimybių studiją ir pritaikyti tinkamiausią modelį Lietuvos sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų paslaugų kokybės tyrimui. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Atlikti paslaugų kokybės sampratų analizę ir parinkti koncepciją galimybių studijai. 2. Atlikus paslaugų kokybės vertinimo modelių bei tyrimo metodų analizę, parengti paslaugos kokybės modelio metodiką sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų paslaugos kokybei tirti. Darbo konceptualų pagrindą sudaro paslaugų kokybės modelių vertinimas. Tyrimas buvo atliekamas taikant ekspertų apklausos metodą, apklausiant 5 respondentus. Tyrimo empiriniams duomenims rinkti buvo sudarytos nestandartizuotos anketos, t.y. anketos ekspertams. Anketos parengtos remiantis darbo teorinėje dalyje minimais darbais. Atlikus paslaugų kokybės modelių analizę bei ekspertams įvertinus SERVQUAL, SQAS ir QUESC paslaugų kokybės modelių metodikos kriterijus, jų komponentus, parengėme paslaugų kokybės modelio anketą, kurią sudaro 8 kriterijai: „Personalas“, „Aplinka“, „Įrenginiai“, „Programa“... Sports and health centers in the quality of services provided is one of the key elements influencing the visitors and for the company to increase profitability. Service quality evaluation models for the assessment is only possible relevance of a particular area of health, sport, physical activity, recreation and more. The objective - the analysis of the quality of research methods, to prepare their applications for a feasibility study and adapt the best model of our country's sports and health centers in the quality of service testing. Examine the quality of service models, and objectively evaluate each model, the concept, its advantages and disadvantages. Work tasks: 1. To perform the service quality of the analysis and selection of the concept of a feasibility study. 2. Make the quality of service evaluation models and methods of analysis of the study, to develop the service quality model, a methodology to investigate the quality of the service. A competitividade das academias de ginástica e musculação de Santa Maria RS / The competitiveness from fitness centers in Santa Maria-RS

The aim of this work was to evaluate and analyze the degree of competitiveness from the sector of fitness centers in Santa Maria RS. The study brings an analytics support of Porter Competitiveness Model (1986), of the five competitive strengths, of the small and medium companies and of the fitness centers sector, charactering as quantitative, descriptive and as a field study. The data used in the analysis and interpretation of this research were obtained through answers to a questionnaire applied for the managers/administrators of the companies related in the Cadastro de Contribuintes de Alvará, from SMIC Secretaria de Indústria e Comércio da Prefeitura Municipal de Santa Maria RS. Through this data it was verified that these companies are mostly PMEs, their basic way of administration is familiar, most part of them was created less than 5 years ago and has as its first concerning the search for solutions for its internal operational problems. Among the competitive strengths acting in the sector, the bargain power from the customers is considered the most powerful one, because there is in the market a huge sensitiveness to the prices and localization of the fitness centers. Despite it doesn t represent a barrier to the entrance of new companies into the market, the skill to maintain the prices, by the learning curve, is highlighted as a way to remain in the sector. The intensity of rivalry among the competitors is noticed as high and attributed to the big number of similar companies working without differentiation. As the companies don t own a big extension of shopping and any provider has a relevant participation of goods and equipments, there isn t, in this sector, conditions to the providers to have a bigger power of negotiation. The overcoming of substitute services doesn t concern the companies, and there are no systematic researches for their identification. Among generic competitive strategies described by Porter, most part answered that uses differentiation, that has made investments to improve its competitive position and usually tries to fit the market instead to influence it or to be in front of the competitive moves in the sector. In the end of the research it was concluded that, the non perception of differentiation from the clients of the services offered by the fitness centers of Santa Maria, is the main challenge to be faced by the companies. The search for solutions of the companies for a faster and effective visualization of the differentiation of their services face to the concurrence requests actions in the way of profisionalization of the gesture, definition and adoption of an adequate competitive strategy and the creation of a local class entity / O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar e analisar o grau de competitividade do setor de academias de ginástica e musculação de Santa Maria RS. O estudo traz um embasamento analítico do Modelo da Competitividade de Porter (1986), das cinco forças competitivas, das pequenas e médias empresas e do setor de academias de ginástica e musculação, caracterizando-se como quantitativo, descritivo e de estudo de campo. Os dados utilizados na análise e interpretação desta pesquisa foram obtidos através de respostas a um questionário aplicado aos gerentes/administradores das empresas relacionadas no cadastro de Contribuintes de Alvará, da SMIC - Secretária de Indústria e Comércio da Prefeitura Municipal de Santa Maria-RS. Através destes dados verificou-se que estas empresas são predominantemente PMEs, a sua forma de administração é basicamente familiar, a maioria foi criada a menos de 05 anos e tem como preocupação primeira a busca por soluções para seus problemas operacionais internos. Entre as forças competitivas atuantes no setor, o poder de barganha dos clientes é considerada a mais forte, pois existe no mercado uma sensibilidade muito grande quanto aos preços praticados pelas empresas e quanto à localização das academias. Apesar de não identificarem barreiras ao ingresso de novas empresas no mercado, a habilidade de manter os preços praticados, pela curva de aprendizagem, é destacada como o meio de permanecer no setor. A intensidade da rivalidade entre os concorrentes existentes é percebida como alta e atribuída ao grande número de empresas semelhantes trabalhando sem diferenciação. Por não possuírem um grande volume de compras e por nenhum fornecedor ter uma forte participação no fornecimento de insumos e equipamentos, não há, no setor, condições dos fornecedores exercerem um poder maior de negociação. O surgimento de serviços substitutos não traz preocupação às empresas, não havendo pesquisas sistemáticas para a sua identificação. Entre as estratégias competitivas genéricas descritas por Porter, a maioria respondeu que utiliza a de diferenciação, tendo feito investimentos para melhorar sua posição competitiva e normalmente procura se ajustar ao mercado ao invés de tentar influenciá-lo ou de se antecipar às movimentações competitivas do setor. Ao final da pesquisa concluiu-se que a não percepção pelos clientes de diferenciação entre os serviços prestados pelas academias de ginástica e musculação de Santa Maria é o principal desafio a ser enfrentado pelas empresas. A busca por soluções para o estabelecimento de uma mais rápida e efetiva visualização da diferenciação de seus serviços perante a concorrência exige ações no sentido da profissionalização da gestão, da definição e adoção de uma estratégia competitiva adequada e da criação de uma entidade de classe local

Diploma thesis with satisfied customers of fitness center Lipovka Relax club. Based on results of sectorial analyses there were made up proposals there in order to increase satisfaction of customers. The theoretical part is characterized in the first part of the thesis. The next part analyzes the current situation using the internal and external environment of the selected company. The search questionnaire is investigated by the current state of customer satisfaction. In the last parts of future data, concrete proposals to increase customer satisfaction are evaluated and published.

This diploma thesis describes the phenomenon of fitness through the gender perspective. The research took place in the environment of a particular fitness center. The space of the gym and the visitors' behavior were observed through the participating observation and semi- structured interviews. It was explored how a specific activity helps to form the identity of the trainees and how the relationships between them are created. This thesis analysis the rules according to which people behave in the given environment of the gym. It represents the gym as an environment that preserves the dominant concepts of masculinities and femininities on the one hand, but on the other hand visitors of the gym are allowed to disrupt the gender order by non-stereotypical behavior in certain situations. It was found out that attending a fitness center affects and disciplines the lives of trainees outside the gym.

Title: Using the GAP Model of Service Quality in the FITcentrum Chrudim. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze through GAP model the causes of the gaps that exist between the various levels of interaction in the process of providing services in the FITcentrum Chrudim. Based on the results was assessed the state of the organization and the solution was designed to achieve a higher quality of service and higher customer satisfaction. Methods: For the research is used GAP model of service quality, model of five gaps. Individual gaps were investigated using questionnaires designed for customers and staff of fitness center, semi-structured interview with the owner of fitness and self-observation. Results: The results of research are illustrated using the method of classification crosses, tables and graphs. The obtained dates helped to identify the services, what can be improved and to find the gaps in communication between employees and on the basis of this are set recommendations, how existing deficiencies minimize or completely removed. These results help to achieve a higher quality of providing services and enjoyment of the customers. The aim of my thesis is focused on choosing best fitness center according to concrete offer in Prague. Using methods of multi-criteria decisions I will calculate the order according to important information. Specifically, I work with three methods, Electre III, WSA and Topsis. Theoretical description of these methods and their applications using the Sanna is included. The work is extended by survey - ten women were interviewed to find out how they stand with exercises. This survey was very useful mainly because of getting new weights and thus new order for all three methods. The last chapter is devoted to the case of improving studio "Dokonalé tělo" and its position. I communicated with its owner Ing. Jan Stehlík, he was very nice and willing and interested in improving.

Motivation behind young women's excessive exercise : A qualitative study from a Self-determination perspective

Exercise is an important part of well-being. However, when performed excessively, it can lead to negative consequences such as anxiety, depression and feelings of guilt. This study aimed to qualitatively investigate what motivational regulations, defined by the Self-determination theory, that may provide an insight into why young women engage in excessive exercise. Data from seven participants was analyzed through a thematic analysis and resulted in four themes: Exercise affected by social influence, Ambivalence toward the amount of exercise, Benefits of exercise and Exercise affecting the sense of self. All of the motivational regulations belonged to the extrinsic type of motivation, ranging from external to integrated regulation, with social influence and health benefits being the most frequently mentioned reasons for exercise. Also, the informants were able to explain why they exercise, but less so in regard to the amount of exercise. / Träning är en förutsättning för välbefinnande. När träning utförs i en överdriven mängd kan det dock leda till negativa konsekvenser som ångest, depression och skuldkänslor. Syftet med denna studie var att kvalitativt undersöka vilka motivationsregleringar definierade av Självbestämmande teori som kan ge en inblick i varför unga kvinnor tränar i en överdriven omfattning. Materialet från sju deltagare analyserades genom en tematisk analys och resulterade i fyra teman: Social påverkan på träning, Ambivalens till träningsmängden, Fördelar med träning och Träning påverkar uppfattningen om sig själv. Alla motivationsregleringar tillhörde den yttre typen av motivation och sträckte sig från extern till integrerad reglering, där social påverkan och hälsofördelar var de mest frekvent nämnda anledningarna till träning. Informanterna kunde ge en förklaring till varför de tränar, men inte avseende deras träningsmängd.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the design of the Luzanky sport complex in Brno. The main objective of the diploma project was to create a new modern sport recreation area which will be situated next to the existing swimming pool. The main function is an aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools, which will fulfil all needs of visitors. There are few other functions added, such as café, smaller fitness and massages. Absolutely main objective is to connect the existing pool with the pools of the Aquapark - so the visitors could be using all indoor swimming areas. There are also parking spots designed within this project - nearby is a parking garage connected by footbridge leading from the existing swimming pool alongside the Aquapark building. This footbridge is intended for people who come to Brno to the Aquapark - for families with children that is - therefore it ensures safe and uninterrupted crossing from the garage to the new Aquapark complex. This complex will meet the requirements and current expectations of the visitors in the area. It will also increase the attractiveness of the entire territory.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the solution of the Lužánky sport complex in Brno. The aim of the diploma project is to create a new modern sport recreation area which will be situated next to the existing swimming pool. The main object is an aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools. In area of the aquapark are other premises like wellness, fitness cen-ter, café and other small businesses. Proposed object should be connected to the exis-ting pool with a 50-meter track. Visitors could go from one place to the other without exiting the complex. Also included is the increase of indoor and outdoor parking. Around the complex a footbridge had been designed to connect all the sports facilities. The foot-bridge is intended for pedestrians and cyclists and is designed to avoid blocking car traffic. Main entrance to the aquapark is on the same level as the footbridge, on the 2nd floor. Visitors can go to the footbridge by pedestrian ramp, stairs or lifts. This complex will meet the requirements and current expectations of the visitors in the area. It will also increase the attractiveness of the entire territory.
