Hybridní model metaheuristických algoritmů / Hybrid model of metaheuristic algorithms

Šandera, Čeněk Unknown Date (has links)
The main topic of this PhD thesis is metaheuristic algorithm in wider scope. The first chapters are dedicated to a description of broader context of metaheuristics, i.e. various optimization classes, determination of their omplexity and different approaches to their solutions. The consequent discussion about metaheuristics and their typical characteristics is followed by several selected examples of metaheuristics concepts. The observed characteristics serve as a base for building general metaheuristics model which is suitable for developing brand new or hybrid algorithms. The thesis is concluded by illustration of author’s publications with discussion about their adaptation to the proposed model. On the attached CD, there is also available a program implementation of the created model.

Contribution des informations expérimentales et expertes à l'amélioration des modèles linéaires d'étalonnage multivarié en spectrométrie / Cooperation between experimental and expert informations for improving spectrometer calibrations

Boulet, Jean-Claude 13 December 2010 (has links)
Spectra contain informations about the composition of samples. This information is obtained using calibration. Harmful spectral information can be previoulsy withdrawn using pretraitments. Both calibration and pretraitment models are based on two types of informations: (1) experimental information based on measurements onto samples; (2) expert information based on a previous knowledge. The aim of this thesis is to study the links between those two types of information. After a biography review, a general model including both calibrations and pretraitments is proposed. The usefull or harmful spectral information is obtained after spectra have been orthogonaly projected (with a Sigma metrix ) onto a P matrix whose columns define a basis of the vectorial subspace described by the usefull or harmful information. Thus usefull information is kept whereas harmful information is withdrawn. Two new methods are proposed. First IDC-Improved Direct Calibra tion is a direct calibration method using both experimental and expert informations. Then VODKA-PLSR is a generalisation of PLSR. A vector r permits the use of expert information by the regression model. To conclude, this works allows a global view of existing tools, proposes two new models and offers new possibilities for building new models.

In this project we seek to find the most general theory for massive particles of spin-2 through symmetric tensor. We begin by the path we will follow to calculate the amplitude of two points, saturated by sources, and obtain physical contente of a free theory. As first attempt, we started with a theory similar to the Fierz-Pauli’s theory, but with a generalized mass term. After this we explored a more general Lagrangian density, with two derivatives in the most. In both cases we return to the Fierz-Pauli’s theory as the only viable one. In search of a greater generality, we later propoused a Lafrangian density with arbitrary coefficients and arbitrary power in the derivatives. We related the coefficients of this theory with the Lagrangian density’s coefficients found previously in the literature through imersão de Euler of the Fierz-Pauli’s equations. The purpose was to verify if there is a more general theory than this last one. Finally, in order to complemente the subject discussed in this paper, we will verify the consequences of a certain local symmetry on the physical contente of a massive spin-2 theory

Product mix decision: comparing theory of constraints, activity based costing, general model and discretionary cost considered discretionary cost.

Nélo, Ana Maria 27 March 2008 (has links)
The optimal product mix selection must consider internal and external factors of a manufacturing company. The external ones are mainly products prices, industry competition, substitute and complementary products, distribution channels, industrial location, and government taxes among others. The internal factors are related mainly to the use of the industrial capacity, to raw materials and human resources supply (prices and quantities), and to joint production. The external factors cause impacts in the prices of the input and final products, while the interns influence mainly the cost of products. In short, the determination of the product mix influences directly the company competitiveness. Our research has done a bibliographical research and a comparative analysis of three important frameworks to support the product-mix optimal decision: Activity based costing (ABC), Goldratt´s Theory of Constraints and the Kee & Schmidt General Model. In specialized literature some costing methods are identified to the properly measurement of products costs, such as: direct costing, burden costing, full costing, and activity based costing (ABC). These methods differ in the way that productive factors are distributed to the products costs. This thesis shows the product mix, the use of the industrial capacity and the costing methods analyzed jointly by means of mathematical programming, aiming to simulate each method performance. The translation of different frameworks in mathematical models eliminates the possibility to refute costing methods as function of author theoretical meanings. It is shown that the ABC surpasses the two other models for presenting the biggest profit and using less resources in the productive activities, when is considered discretionary costs.

Fuktförebyggande åtgärder för ett bättre klimat i den småländska stenkyrkans krypgrund / Moisture preventative actions, in order to ensure a better environment in the crawl space of thestonechurches of Småland

Ekelöf, Henrik, Hasselby, Fabian January 2010 (has links)

Institut ombudsmana v severní Evropě a jeho srovnání s institucí veřejného ochránce práv v České republice / A Comparison of the Ombudsman Institute in Northern Europe and the Public Defender of Rights in the Czech Republic

Kostelecká, Karolína January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis creates a general model of the Ombudsman Institution in Northern Europe and draws a comparison to the Public Defender of Rights in the Czech Republic. This thesis introduces a theoretical framework of this topic including definitions for control of public administration, ombudsman, classification of ombudsmen and historical evolution of this institution in selected countries. Based on the analysis of legislation in Sweden, Finland and Denmark, the general model of the ombudsman institution in Northern Europe is created. The comparison between this general model and the Public Defender of Rights Institution brings recommendations for Czech modifications. These recommendations include anchoring ombudsman institution in the Constitution of the Czech Republic, specifying education requirements of the ombudsman in the Public Defender of Rights Act, or increasing the number of ombudsmen, thereby dividing responsibility among several people specialized in certain areas.

Matematické modely poptávky / Mathematical Models of Demand

Trzaskaliková, Eva January 2010 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the analyses of demand using standard tools of engineering mathematics. Mathematical models of demand, both single and multi- factor are investigated. Elasticity of demand is applied for decision making in price policy. Problems of optimization of demand reflecting utility and budget constraints are under consideration. Constructions of demand curve and compensated demand curve are presented. The text is accompanied by illustrative examples aiming at methodical aspects of the work
