Možnosti využití principů a konceptů gestalt terapie v supervizi / The Possibilities of using the principles and concepts of Gestalt therapy in SupervisionKarásek, Daniel January 2021 (has links)

Moc jako aspekt terapeutického vztahu v rámci gestalt přístupu / Power as an Aspect of an Therapeutical Relationship on the Framework of the Gestalt ApproachKrčmářová, Barbora January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on a phenomenon of power in therapy relationship in way of Gestalt approach. It's based on a relationship concept between psychotherapist and client which is a fundamental factor in psychoteraphy change. The power is perceived in accordance with Michela Foucalt's theory as a natural and necessary relational phenomenon. In Gestalt approach intentions we pursue ways, in which the psychoterapist is aware his power, how he gets in touch and how he deals with it. Diploma thesis has got a theoretical empirical character, the theoretical part sumarizes knowledge about power, relationship like a base of helping professions work and basic knowledge from Gestalt therapy field. Empirical part uses design of qualitative metodology. We got data about Gestalt therapists' attitudes, perception and understanding of the power phenomenon. These gained data are processed by the grounded theory method and compared with other data. Next possibilities of broadening gained informations and working with them in therapy field are mentioned in the conclusion. Our results broaden knowledge about therapy relationship characteristics and bring an inspiration for psychotherapy training attenders, practising therapists and other helping professionals.

The experiences of self-support in first-time mothers / Madré du ToitDu Toit, Madré January 2014 (has links)
A notable paucity in practice interventions and literature currently exists in regard to self-support in first-time mothers. Recent literature and practice interventions seem to focus largely on social support resources, highlighting the deficiency in the investigation of self-support in first-time mothers as an integral and holistic concept and/or focus point for intervention. Literature continues to illustrate the many challenges first-time mothers encounter and therefore this study focuses on self-support experiences of the first-time mother in relation to her environment by providing an original stance of enquiry. The investigator aimed to explore and describe the experiences of self-support in first-time mothers in the Cape Metropole. The study was conducted qualitatively and according to an Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) research design. This provided the researcher with a dual method of investigation: The first undertaking was to describe actual accounts of the participants‟ self-support experiences, while the second was to give an interpretation of these accounts which would reflect their experiences in an understandable, yet authentic manner. The meta-theoretical framework of Gestalt Therapy Theory (GTT) was applied due to its holistic and integrative nature, while the additional theoretical frameworks of Self Determination Theory (SDT) and Positive Psychology (PP) served as contributors to deepen understanding. The sample consisted of thirteen first-time mothers from moderately diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The study succeeded in giving in-depth exploratory descriptions of their self-support experiences during the first two years of motherhood. Findings displayed that the participants‟ self-support cannot be separated from their constantly shifting environments and that self-support is an integrated and dynamic process of development. Internal elements as well as environmental factors prove to disrupt this process of self-support development. Vital components for developing self-support were assuming responsibility for own well-being as a mother; as well as arriving at insight. Joy and gratefulness as experienced by the participants were proven to serve as motivators to sustain self-support. The study further exhibits that a supportive relationship is able to exist between the first-time mother‟s self-support and her environment when she is able to effectively identify, reach out and utilise social support resources available in her environment. Self-support serves as an experiential process (as an alternative to a fixed outcome) where the first-time mother is able, through experience, to mature and become more self-supportive. Findings argue that ideal self-support during novel motherhood is the capability to be in a mature interactive relationship with the environment, constantly adapting according to the organisation of the environmental field. / MA (Psychology), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2014

A gestalt approach in using music with the emotionally traumatized childJoseph, Rowena Yasmin 30 June 2004 (has links)
Many of the sources indicated in this work are classical and not updated due to the fact that the origins of Gestalt Philosophy are found in classical works / Verskeie van die geraadpleegde bronne in die literatuurhoofstukke verteenwoordig klassieke werke wat nie binne die erkende periode vir relevante wetenskaplike navorsing val nie. Die oorsprong van die Gestalt Filosofie wat in hierdie studie benut is, word in hierdie klassieke werke gevind en is ook in hierdie werke geraadpleeg / The Gestalt approach was used as the contextual framework to explore how music can be used as a therapeutic medium in the treatment of the emotionally traumatized child.
Music as a sensory experience was used during the therapeutic process with each case study, to facilitate the child's process towards healing. The conceptual framework of music as a therapeutic medium was researched in depth to bring clarity to the influence it has on the emotional well-being of the child.
The child who entered into therapy was selected according to specific criteria, with the experience of emotional trauma being priority. The researcher also studied the concept of emotional trauma in depth and the consequences it has on a child's overall functional ability.
Music was used as an expressive technique during the therapeutic process with each child. The conclusion drawn from this study indicated that the gestalt approach can be applied effectively in using music as a therapeutic medium in the treatment of the emotionally traumatized child.
Hierdie sensoriese ervaring is
bestudeer.
Practical Theology / M.Diac. (Play Therapy)
