Testování přesnosti výšek měřených technologií GNSS / Testing of the accuracy of the heights measured by GNSS

Stolárová, Ivana January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with a testing of the real coordinates accuracy measured in favorable and unfavorable conditions, which are determined by method GNSS RTK. The work explores the real accuracy and reliability of heights measurement with the signal noise and multipath interference occurring, caused by surrounding vegetation, buildings, power lines, and also the accuracy under optimal conditions while measuring in a meadow. Influence of day time, observation length, correction provider to internal and external precision is watched. It also examines the issues of initialization in these conditions. For this purpose was collected set of statistics containing 960 measurements on 30 points. During survey was used apparatus Trimble R4. GNSS measurements were statistically processed and evaluated and finally the results were compared with the results of Bc. Klára Kordasová, who measured the same tested points with identical methodology using apparatus from Leica company. Results of the thesis can be used in praxis.

Využití permanentních sítí GNSS pro určování výšek / The Using of GNSS Permanent Networks for Height Determination

Kuruc, Michal Unknown Date (has links)
This Thesis deals with the evaluation of height accuracy of GNSS point positioning. Many experimental measurements aimed on GNSS and heights issues was realised within this work. The ellipsoidal heights were measured together with the orthometric heights and then the local Quasigeoid model was created. The network of height points was built to realisation of proposed measurements on the territory of the city Brno. The model of Quasigeoid from experimental measurement was compared with any other models of Quasigeoid and with local astronomical model. The partial aim of this Thesis is the proposal of methodology of height determination by GNSS technology and levelling measurement together. We can determine or verify the orthometric heights by using GNSS measurement and this methodology.

The Brontë Attachment Novels: An Examination of the Development of Proto-Attachment Narratives in the Nineteenth Century

McNierney, James 01 May 2016 (has links) (PDF)
John Bowlby’s work on attachment theory in the 1960s altered the cultural understanding of parent-child relationships. Bowlby argued that the ability for an individual to form attachments later in life, be that familial, romantic, or friendship is affected by whether or not that individual formed a strong attachment to a primary caregiver in early childhood. My thesis uses Bowlby’s theory as a critical lens to examine three novels by the Brontës: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë. I use this theory in order to demonstrate that these novels are what I have termed proto-attachment narratives, which is to say narratives about attachment before formal attachment theory existed, and, further, that they work to bridge the gap between the contemporary nineteenth-century debate on child rearing and Bowlby’s theory. In addition, I discuss how each of these novels exemplifies, complicates, and expands upon Bowlby’s theory in its own way. Wuthering Heights demonstrates the cyclical nature of damaged attachments and works to find a way to break from that cycle. Jane Eyre gives a clear understanding of an individual’s lifelong struggle with failed attachments and the importance of a balanced power dynamic to forming healthy attachments, and, finally, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall examines how even properly formed, healthy parent-child attachments can lead to development problems, if the power granted to those parental attachment figure is not used responsibly. I further theorize that we can use these novels as a starting point to discuss how we might define attachment narratives as a genre, as they hold many similarities with more clearly defined modern attachment narratives.

Géométrie Arithmétique sur les variétés Abéliennes : minoration explicite de la hauteur de Faltings et borne sur la torsion / Aritmethic geometry on Abelian varieties : explicit lower bound on the faltings height and bound on torsion

Wagener, Benjamin 22 November 2016 (has links)
This thesis leads essentially to two conclusions. On the one hand we determine a lower bound for the Faltings height of abelian varieties over number fields in which enter new non-archimedean invariants. It consists in the first part of this work in which we introduce systematically this invariants. They are directly linked to the non-archimedean geometry of abelian varities at places of bad reduction. In a second part we provides an approximative evaluation of this invariants which leads to a lower bound on the Faltings heights in terms of the number of components of the special fiber of the Néron model of abelian varieties at places of bad reduction. We deduce from this estimates a corollary that provides an upper bound on the cardinality of the group of rational torsion points of abelian varieties essentially in terms of the Falting height. This bound is the best bound known till now.
