As primeiras inserções de atividades psicológicas em hospitais gerais no Brasil datam da década de 1950. No entanto, foi nas últimas duas décadas que o interesse pela Psicologia Hospitalar cresceu significativamente, chegando a organizar-se como uma especialidade regulamentada pelo Conselho Federal de Psicologia em 2000. Apesar de tal prática ser bastante documentada no centro do país - local por onde os psicólogos começaram a desenvolver as primeiras atividades em hospitais gerais, a história desenvolvida no Sul do país carece de maiores registros. Nesse sentido, o objetivo específico deste estudo é resgatar a história das atividades psicológicas no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA) e reunir dados para a análise da expansão da psicologia no momento em que ingressa em novos ambientes que não os tradicionais: clínica, escola e indústria. O período demarcado vai de 1971, com a abertura do Hospital, até 1986, com a estruturação de um Serviço de Psicologia que reuniu as psicólogas da instituição sob uma mesma chefia. Para a coleta e análise dos dados foi utilizado o método de História Oral, devido à escassez de registros escritos sobre a constituição e o desenvolvimento do serviço em questão. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo a partir do qual foi construída uma narrativa histórica. Foram entrevistadas 10 profissionais que desenvolveram atividades na área da psicologia em diferentes momentos do período considerado. Como resultados, constam na narrativa que a Psicologia entrou no HCPA pela via Organizacional, para realizar a seleção dos funcionários do hospital. Somente alguns anos mais tarde a Psicologia Clínica foi incorporada à instituição, via a unidade de Pediatria. Discute-se que as destituições sofridas pelo setor organizacional, e o momento histórico vivido pela Psicologia, foram alguns dos motivos da criação de um Serviço independente, pois a reunião oficial das profissionais forneceria maior autonomia e segurança para as psicólogas na instituição. Além disso, a criação de Serviços de Psicologia em hospitais serviu como fator de consolidação da Psicologia Hospitalar no Brasil. / The first insertions of psychological activities in general hospitals in Brazil date from the decade of 1950. The demarcated period goes from 1971, with the opening of the Hospital, up to 1986, with the creation of a Department of Psychology that congregated the psychologists of the institution under the same command. For the collection and analysis of the data, the Oral History method was used, due to scarcity of written registers about the constitution and the development of the service in question. From this qualitative study was constructed a historical narrative. Ten professionals, who had developed activities in the area of psychology at different moments of the considered period, had been interviewed. As results, they consist in the narrative that Psychology entered in the HCPA by the Organizational way, to carry through the selection of the hospital employees. Just in a few years later Clinical Psychology was incorporated to the institution, by the unit of Pediatrics. [pt] O presente trabalho é uma investigação histórica dos discursos e práticas de exame psicológico que se manifestaram no contexto da educação brasileira na virada do século XIX para o século XX. O levantamento de obras em psicologia publicados na segunda metade do século XIX e início do XX foi realizado na base da Internet Archive. Já as fontes primárias produzidas no Brasil foram levantadas na Biblioteca Nacional, no setor de Obras Gerais para livros e na Hemeroteca Digital para os textos publicados na imprensa brasileira. Primeiramente, será abordada a emergência da psicologia experimental na Europa a partir de algumas obras de época, discutindo questões que estavam em pauta entre os experimentalistas. Em um segundo momento, o texto se deterá em questões historiográficas da psicologia no Brasil, tratando de alguns problemas no campo ao mesmo tempo em que busca situar a psicologia experimental em uma pluralidade de discursos em torno de uma psychologia. Por último, o texto trabalhará inserções da psicologia experimental na educação brasileira e como ela estava articulada a outros discursos e práticas que almejavam, por meio da educação do corpo e do espírito das crianças, a manutenção da ordem social e o progresso do país. / [en] This work is a historical research on discourses and practices of psychological examination that have emerged in the context of Brazilian education in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The documents published in the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth century were sought on Internet Archive. The texts produced in Brazil were fetched in the National Library: the search for books took place in the Obras Gerais sector and all the articles from Brazilian press were found in Hemeroteca Digital. First, we debate the emergence of experimental psychology in Europe from some works published at that time, analyzing issues that were on the agenda of experimentalists authors. After, it aims to discuss historiographical aspects of psychology in Brazil, dealing with some problems in the field at the same time it seeks to place experimental psychology in a plurality of speeches around a psychologia. Finally, it discusses the presence of experimental psychology in Brazilian education and how it was articulated to other discourses and practices that crave for, through the body and spirit education of the children, the maintenance of the social order and the progress of the country.

This essay has an empirical and qualitative character, using the historiographic method. The interviews are semi-directives conducted with some of the first professionals to work with this approach in Brazil, here called "first actors" in the geographical axis that includes the state of São-Paulo and the Federal District, specifically Brasília. These interviews were analyzed under a phenomenological point of view, and grouped in main themes in order to understand the particular view of these "first actors" understanding, from their individual perceptions, how this approach came to Brazil; with who arrives and how comes development of the Gestalt-therapy, in Brazil. This work contributes not only to clarify the historical legacy of Gestalt-therapy, but also to reflect on their social and political perspectives. Thus, from a critical eye on contributions, possibilities and perspectives, the study corroborates with the solidification of the epistemological studies of gestalt approach. / Esse trabalho insere-se na perspectiva da história da psicologia, e tem como objetivo desvelar a história da Gestalt-terapia e da Abordagem Gestáltica no Brasil. A pesquisa tem um caráter empírico, de cunho qualitativo, utilizando-se do método historiográfico. Partese de entrevistas semi-diretivas realizadas com alguns dos primeiros profissionais a trabalhar com esta abordagem no Brasil, aqui denominados primeiros atores , no eixo geográfico que compreende o estado de São Paulo e o Distrito Federal, mais especificamente Brasília. Essas entrevistas foram analisadas sob um olhar fenomenológico, e agrupadas em temas centrais, de modo a abordar a visão particular desses primeiros atores no sentido de compreender, a partir de suas percepções individuais, como chega; com quem chega e como se desenvolve a Gestalt-terapia no Brasil. Este trabalho contribui não apenas para elucidar o legado histórico da Gestalt-terapia, mas também para refletir sobre suas perspectivas sociais e politicas. Assim sendo e, a partir de um olhar crítico sobre as contribuições, possibilidades e perspectivas, o estudo corrobora com a solidificação dos estudos epistemológicos da abordagem gestáltica.

His find turns from the inquiry of doctorate of Iolanda Brandão on The Salesianos in the Brazilian Psychology , defended in the Program of Postgraduate Studies in Social Psychology of this University. Brought of Italy in the beginning of the 1950 years, them apparatus were used then for teaching, inquiry and installment of psychotechnic services. After a first exhibition carried out in the PUC-SP, the NEHPSI he has been a guest to repeat it in institutions of teaching and professionals, having carried out exhibitions in the UNICAMP, in the University São Marcos, in the Federal University of São João del Rei, in the PUC/Minas, Campus Poços of Caldas, in the Regional Council of 3rd Psychology Region Bahia and Sergipe and in the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo. Registers of observation not organized are analysed here only to illustrate the effective participation of the visitors while getting in touch with the apparatus. The objective of this inquiry is to check if the exhibition of the apparatus, together with other documents of the period, can be a resource for the teaching of history of the psychology of Brazil. A special cutting out (seven apparatus for measure of intelligence) was done for that, with two Exhibitions (pupils of the degree course in psychology of the PUC-SP and of pedagogy of the Faculty Oswaldo Cruz) with questionnaires specially prepared for the visitors. Seu achado resulta da pesquisa de doutorado de Iolanda Brandão sobre Os Salesianos na Psicologia Brasileira , defendida no Programa de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Psicologia Social dessa Universidade. Trazidos da Itália no início dos anos 1950, os aparelhos eram então utilizados para ensino, pesquisa e prestação de serviços psicotécnicos. O objetivo desta pesquisa é verificar se a exposição dos aparelhos, juntamente com outros documentos do período, pode ser um recurso para o ensino de história da psicologia do Brasil.
