Barn i hemlöshetKällander, Sandra January 2018 (has links)
This is a qualitative study of how social workers work with the children's perspective in the meeting with homeless children. This will be investigated through four semi-structured interviews with employees at the social housing unit. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the practitioner describes how they work with the child perspective based partly on the Children's Convention, but also investigate how the prosecutor caters for children's rights and citizenship. The collected material will be analysed using Theory of citizenship (Lister 2008), but also childhood sociological concepts human being and human becoming as well as agency (Qvortrup 1990; Lee 2001). As a complement, Annika Staaf's (2011) definition of legal certainty is used to expand the understanding of children's citizenship and legal certainty. The result shows the lack of work with children's rights, and the structure of the organization is important for the ability of the prosecutor to meet children's rights and secure children's citizenship. In the final discussion it is stated that the social security staff's working environment means that children can not be heard in so far as is considered necessary, and that a way forward in the work on children's rights would be that the Children's Convention becomes Swedish law. This would mean that the Convention on the Rights of the Child gained a stronger position in Sweden.

The conception of psychosis and its recovery are mostly influenced by biomedical models of
mental illness. Other perspectives exist and are useful to understand the experience of psychosis,
in a more global and critique way. The phenomenology, the experiential approach and alternative
approaches are interesting and useful to increase our knowledge on psychosis experience.
This project has the purpose to explore a phenomenon which is not so known in the research
community, as well as giving a space to young adults to talk about their experience of psychosis.
We found that even though many approaches are interested in the experience of psychosis, there
are not so many spaces to talk about the suffering that comes with that experience. The question
that guided the research was: What is the meaning and the significations of psychosis for young
adults that were living in an Auberge du Coeur, and receiving services from a Premier Épisode
Psychotique (PEP) clinic? Also, what approaches of psychosis are part of their storytelling?
To answer this question, a qualitative methodology was used. Six young adults that had
experienced a psychosis and had been homeless were interviewed. We were interested in their
lifepath, their vision of the world and their perception of different services they were in touch with.
Many perspectives were developed so that the data analysis can be critique. We were interested in
the concept of subjectivity, the knowledge about experiences and the concept of suffering.
The analysis shown that all the participants experienced a lot of difficulties beside the psychosis
experience, such as traumas and psychological distress. We also found that the psychosis
experience is hard to get and hard to reach for them. It is especially hard to explain how it feels
with words. In their storytelling, we see that the biomedical models are predominant. It seems like
the participants were not able to find spaces to talk about the suffering that comes with psychosis
experience, even though they receive help from community centers and public services.

Analytické přístupy vybraných "poradenských" veřejněpolitických dokumentů v oblasti bezdomovectví / Analytical approaches of selected public policy counselling documents from domain of homelessnessPoláková, Alžběta January 2018 (has links)
This thesis is focused on homelessness problem, particularly on documents of counting of people hit by this problem of public policy. Aim of this thesis is to identify and evaluate analytical approaches used by fourteen big cities in the Czech Republic, in the process of counting homeless there. At first this paperwork brings information about policy analysis and its ways of use in our country, with focus on advisory documents, which documents of counting belong. Further, I discuss problem of homelessness and the ways of understanding it in context of this thesis. Other chapters are dedicated to two disciplines from social sciences field - Public policy, and Social and Cultural anthropology. These served as optics for identification of analytical approaches via their key characteristics. I also mention interdisciplinarity as "canopy" for my own approach towards this topic. By using method of content analysis this work elicits in detail the ways in how the counting in above mentioned cities done in 2007-2017 and how these results may contribute to interdisciplinary solution of the given problem. The last chapter gives outcomes based on analysis, which implicates diversity of concepts used in these documents, their aims and methods, and also possible suggestions for applications of the achieved...

Začleňování osob po výkonu trestu do společnosti / Integration of People after Serving a Sentence in SocietyVigner, Martin January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on people who have served their sentences. Specifically, it maps the success in their social integration after release from prison. The theoretical basis of the work lies in the multifactor criminogenetic theories and concepts of social exclusion. Multifactor criminogenetic theories are mentioned as one of the foundations of the penitentiary prediction tool SARPO (Comprehensive Analysis of Risks and Needs of Convicts). This tool is used in the work for better orientation in the needs and risks of people in the process of release. The theoretical anchoring of the work also deals with the problem of recidivism and adaptation after release from prison. And the issue of homelessness in connection with substance abuse and also in connection with crime. Furthermore, attention is paid to the problem of indebtedness, which can complicate the social situation of people after serving a sentence. The factual context of the researched topic is devoted to the causes of the difficult resocialization of released prisoners and to the reasons why recidivists are most often prosecuted. There are also some important statistical data concerning the number of persons imprisoned in the Czech Republic in comparison with EU countries. Attention is also paid to the amendment of the Insolvency Act...
