This diploma thesis deals with a project and an implementation of the information system according to Agrall servis a.s. company requirements. The company offers and arranges an agricultural service. The thesis contains theoretical information on the employment of technologies and system analysis of the company. A practical section of the thesis deals with a specification of requirements and a project of the information system including a subsequent implementation.

The aim of this thesis is to design a system for the purposes of registry of fires of the Fire and rescue department of the Slovak Republic. System should serve to members of the department for administration of records about all fires within the Žilina Region and it should work through the web interface. Emphasis will be placed on using frameworks with the aim to simplify the process of development of the system.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of rendering HTML/CSS documents using the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) language. The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an extension for the CSSBox library, which will be able to generate a vector output. First, we provide a description of the SVG language and some Java libraries that can be used for creating SVG documents. After that, there is description of the CSSBox library. Then, we perform an analysys of selected CSS3 features. The main part of this thesis is the design of a solution for rendering various CSS3 attributes such as rounded corners, gradients or transformations using SVG. After the design, there is a description of the implementation and evaluation of the achieved results using various tests. The conclusion offers some possibilities of extending this thesis.

This thesis contains description of Visual Segmentation Algorithm, which is used for dividing web page to blocks. The purpose of this segmentation is to assign functional blocks to the visual blocks. It is possible to create a data model in the system, which is part of the definition of the functional blocks. The project also contains a generator of web applications, where the design is made by user interface layer. The generated application is extendable and reusable for next development.

A good health condition is important to maintain. It is a root cause to many other positive aspects in life. Productivity in a working industry can be improved if employees have a good health condition. Because of this, some companies are interested in keeping their employees as healthy as possible. The IT-consulting company CGI uses an in-house developed application, called CGIMoving, to offer exercise campaigns for its employees to encourage a healthy lifestyle. CGIMoving is a web system for logging physical exercise activities, where employees can voluntarily participate and log their workout activity and earn rewards. The CGI members who are responsible for the project have made a backlog with features that they wish to be implemented. The goal of the project was to improve CGIMoving by implementing a set of chosen backlog features. Product improvement was done according to an agile Scrum methodology. Tools and techniques used were the ASP.NET web-development framework and the Model-View-Controller design pattern with Visual Studio as the development environment. This report documents the development of six improvements to the CGIMoving system. These improvements are documented in the implemented order: (1) create predefined activities for a campaign, implementation of reminders for (2) inactivity and (3) unclaimed rewards, (4) edit user registered activities, (5) edit information about users and (6) create events. In those last years the amount of information that we receive has grown and the stands in which is distributed have changed; from conventional newspapers or the radio to mobile phones, digital television or the Web. Das darauf basierende Werkzeug ist in der Lage, sowohl eine Online-Version in HTML als auch eine weiterverarbeitbare (und damit letztendlich ausdruckbare) Latex-Version zu generieren.

Workshop-Thema: Mobilitaet Eine Vielzahl von Browsern und anderen Werkzeugen analysiert, verarbeitet, manipuliert oder erzeugt mehr oder weniger erfolgreich HTML-Dateien. Doch browserspezifische Erweiterungen machen den Nutzern das Leben schwer. Die Übertragung wird dank Firewalls, Filterfunktionen und browserspezifischen Erweiterungen instabil. Lokal gespeicherte Dateien vermeiden dies, erfüllen jedoch andere Wünsche des modernen, mobilen Lerners nicht. Der Einsatz von HTML als Zielformat in der Lehre mit neuen Medien muß gelegentlich überdacht werden. Ein weiterer denkbarer Kandidat ist das PDF-Format, das durch die Einbindung von Hyperlinks, Inhaltsverzeichnissen, Stichwortregistern und sogar Formularen viele Anforderungen an multimediale Lehrmaterialien erfüllt.
