Belive that a provable motive to indexes to be short find as a matter of the responsables to teach privileging the decodification of the words. To improve this indexes and to help students to like and to firm a engagement with the reading, the teachers need to study and to broadcast to your students different strategys of readings that take them to produce sense in their reading. Our suggestion is to work with different kinds of humoristic texts, because we belive that this can take fun and to take them a significant reading. So, our objectives are: - to contribute to research about readings at the scholar ambient, once that we consider essential to development of the students; - to show the reading motivation through the construction sense, sustain determined strategys cognitive like easy elements, that quality the reader to know what is reading; - to amplify the knowledge of the language by different approach of general textual, and we bealive this approach incluse and amplity the student s perspective in the letters man s word. To attend the objeticves, we use like theoretical support studies from Ângela Kleiman (1989), Eni Orlandi (1988) and Van Dijk (1992) that give importance the reading in the cognitive perspective, affective and social. The work s result can be checked in the criation of differents pedagogic proposal of literature of the humoristic texts, always worked since theorical sedimental chosen. We hop to be contributing to a significative literature / Anualmente, diversos programas de avaliação como Saresp, Saeb e Enem mostram que a capacidade de interpretação e produção de textos de nossos alunos é cada vez mais desanimadora. Os números que apontam esses resultados nos levam a repensar nossa realidade profissional, uma vez que o grande problema continua sendo o baixo nível de alfabetização de nossas crianças. Acreditamos que um dos prováveis motivos para índices tão baixos encontra-se no fato de os responsáveis pelo ensino privilegiar a decodificação das palavras. Para melhorar esses índices, para tornar os alunos leitores proficientes, os professores precisam estudar e transmitir a seus alunos as dive rsas estratégias de leitura que os levem a produzir sentidos nas leituras que fazem. Para isso, sugerimos trabalhos com diferentes gêneros textuais humorísticos, porque acreditamos que esses, além de divertir, podem levá- los a uma leitura cada vez mais significante. Temos, então, como objetivos: - contribuir para as pesquisas sobre leitura no ambiente escolar, uma vez que a consideramos essencial ao desenvolvimento do aluno; - mostrar que a motivação da leitura por meio da construção de sentido, apoiada em determinadas estratégias cognitivas como elementos facilitadores, capacita o leitor a compreender o que lê; - ampliar o conhecimento da língua por meio de diferentes abordagens de gêneros textuais, visto que acreditamos que essas abordagens abrangem e ampliam a perspectiva de vida do aluno em um mundo letrado. Para atender aos objetivos propostos, usamos como suporte teórico estudos de Ângela Kleiman (1989), Eni Orlandi (1988) e Van Dijk (1992) que enfatizam a leitura em uma perspectiva cognitiva, afetiva e social. O resultado desse trabalho pode ser conferido na criação de diferentes atividades pedagógicas, sempre trabalhadas a partir da sedimentação teórica escolhida. The corpus analysis is built with texts from the recognized newspaper, not only in São Paulo but also in Brazil: Folha de S. Paulo. In this analysis the main subject is the personal performance of ex-federal deputy Severino da Silva in his public career. We believe that such humoristic texts can drive us towards admirable experiments concerning the language questions and the humor, as discursive phenomena, translate an opinion maker characteristic trait. The theoretical statement is based on the concepts of humor introduced and debated, mainly, by Bergson (2004), Propp (1992), Alberti (2002), Minois (2003), Raskin (1985), Possenti (2000) and Travaglia (1990). First of all, we proceeded with context structure of the corpus and a brief description of political career of Severino Cavalcanti. We moved forward with a historical retrospective, looking for to explorer how the humor was explained by several thinkers and academics. We were able to evidence the sociological and political aspects of humor. Considering that we left clear the weapons linguistic-discursive used in order to build the essence of humor. Finally, after the corpus analysis, we realized that the humor itself can reveal the truths and punish those ones who audacity to deviate from used society convivial / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar a construção lingüístico-discursiva do humor político em textos da mídia impressa. O corpus de análise é composto por textos do jornal Folha de S. Paulo sobre a vida pública do ex-deputado federal Severino Cavalcanti. Acreditamos que os textos humorísticos possibilitam excelentes experimentos com as questões da língua e o humor, como fenômeno discursivo, traduz um caráter de formador de opinião. A fundamentação teórica baseia-se em conceitos de humor apresentados e discutidos, principalmente, nos trabalhos de Bergson (2004), Propp (1992), Alberti (2002), Minois (2003), Raskin (1985), Possenti (2000) e Travaglia (1990). Inicialmente, procedemos à contextualização do corpus e a uma breve descrição sobre a vida política de Severino Cavalcanti. Fizemos uma retomada histórica, buscando conhecer como o humor foi explicado por vários pensadores e teóricos. Nós pudemos constatar os aspectos sociológicos e políticos do humor. Explicitamos, então, os instrumentos lingüístico-discursivos para a construção do humor. Finalmente, depois da análise do corpus, observamos que o humor por si só pode revelar verdades e punir aqueles têm que a ousadia de se afastar das normas sociais
