Contents of the thesis is to design and create an expansion board for the BeagleBoard computer one plate . The first and very important part was to find out all the possibilities for an extension of the computer itself . Choose the right expansion port . To study the possibility distribution of individual pins . Followed by the appropriate extension election districts that demonstrate the function of each enlargement . Test was designed PCB that contains circuits that change the voltage level of the BeagleBoard to protect a mini computer to the testing of each gusset periphery prevent damage to itself or part of the BeagleBoard . The peripherals themselves bind different parts of theoretical introduction. More specifically the extension of the LCD display is selected segment and includes two lines of 16 characters . When the possibility to add additional components were necessary to deal with the shortcomings of the output pins , this problem was solved by using an expander . He extends itself BeagleBoard by another 16 pins . On these pins are connected together on the LCD matrix keyboard . The creation of the board are two circuit temperature sensors , but have a different type of communication using I2C and one second using 1 -Wire bus . The board also contains various other bus outputs , for example, UART bus. It also contains an output pin which can be controlled PWM modulation . The remaining pins are versatile GPIO pins which can be programmed to define a function using the Linux operating system . The result is a final board of the package control programs which make it possible to verify the individual peripherals.

Bezdrátová telemetrie pro létající objekt / Wireles Flying Object Telemetry

This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.

Arbetet har fokuserat på att minimera arbetsbelastningen för personalen hos företaget Arcoma. Detta har uppnåtts genom att bygga ett automatiserat mätsystem för läckstrålning med material som fanns hos Arcoma. Det användes bland annat tekniker som CAN, reglerteknik och matematiska omvandlingar för att styra motorerna så att röntgengivaren placeras vid rätt position i förhållande till en punkt i planet. Systemet styrs med hjälp av ett användargränssnitt genom webben för att minska besvärligheter. Tester av detta system bestod av noggrannheten, test av exponering och ett sluttest på en röntgenapparat. Slutsatsen för arbetet ledde till att noggrannheten i det automatiserade mätsystemet var inom acceptabelt område. Systemet blev delvis automatiserat eftersom ställningen behövdes sättas upp av en person, men var relativt enkelt att kontrollera genom användargränssnitt. Dock är uppsättningen av systemet inte helt praktisk.

The main purpose of this project is to design and implement a system for controlling targets on a shooting range. This consists of the main control unit and some motor-turning targets. Both control unit and targets are battery powered and use wireless data transfer. This work describes the selection of the proper platform for wireless communication and design of the hardware and software part of the system in relation to low price and high reliability of the equipment. The conclusion of this work should be the system for practical use.

Skibot 1.0, a Poling Cross-Country Skiing Robot

This thesis project covers the development of a cross country skiing robot, with the purpose of being used as an instrument for measuring gliding properties of skis. The robot used in total 4 servomotors to control the motion of right and left arms with poles attached. A general movement pattern generator was developed to construct patterns that resemble the one of a human hand during poling. The final robot is able to generate a poling motion resulting in a forward propulsion, but further development to the design has to be made to use the robot for its intended purpose.

Diploma work deals with industrial display systems, indicators and their proposal. These systems are used everywhere that is necessary to mediate transmission of information. Own proposal of indicator is very specific and depends on given application and used display. In practice there is possible to use a few types of displays but in this diploma work there are used only sedmisegmental and matrix. Common component of proposal is microcontroller. No less significat and important part of the proposal is a choice of interface and communication protocol. The correct choice of hardware that is completed with software we will obtain complete status indicator.

This diploma paper deals with the data bus line I2C and a supportive demonstration tool for the subject Microprocessor technology taught at the Radioelectronics faculty. The data bus line I2C is convenient when short-distance data transmission with restricted spatial possibilities is required but high velocity of data transmission is not necessary. The tool is compiled in such a way that enables it to also perform other tasks apart from those dealing with the I2C data bus line. The data bus line in the tool is utilized for transmission of date, time, temperature, data for the D/A converter, data from and to the EEPROM memory and data to 16 bits expander.
