Sammanfattning Förskolechefen som nyckelperson har stort ansvar för kvalitetsarbetet som beskrivits och förtydligats i den nya läroplanen. Förskolechefens roll innefattar ett ansvar att leda ett systematiskt kvalitetsarbete och utveckla hållbara system för det arbetet. Syftet med denna studie är att skapa en djupare förståelse av hur systematiskt kvalitetsarbete genomförs i praktiken i förskolan. Studien undersöker hur förskolledning implementerar ett systematiskt kvalitetsarbete i praktiken och vilka olika implementeringsstrategier som används. Metod för datainsamling som valts är intervjuer. Studien bygger på intervjuer med fem förskolechefer. Resultatet identifierar att kommunikation med andra förskolechefer, och deras nätverk är viktigt för implementeringen av systematiskt kvalitetsarbete. Studien visar att diskussionen kring systematiskt kvalitetsarbete påverkar och utvecklar förbättringsarbeten och säkrar dessa processer. Studien bidrar till en fördjupad förståelse för vilka faktorer som påverkar arbetet med systematiskt kvalitetsarbete i praktiken med fokus på förskolechefer. Detta kan förhoppningsvis väcka intresse för vidare forskning på området. The preschool leader's role includes the responsibility to lead a systematic quality work and develop sustainable systems for that work. The purpose of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of how systematic quality work appears in practice in preschool. Thus, this study investigates factors affecting the implementation of systematical quality work and how the different management strategies of the pre-school management relate to each other. The method used for data collection is interviews and the study is based on interviews with five preschool leaders. The results identify that communication with other preschool leaders, and their network is important for the implementation of systematical quality work. The study shows that discussions about systematical quality work affects and develops improvement work and ensures their processes. The study contributes to a deeper understanding as well as more knowledge of factors that affect the work of systematic quality work in practice with focus on management and preschool leaders.
