conflicts in international teams / Konflikty v mezinarodních v týmech

Kurdovanidze, Salome January 2014 (has links)
This thesis aims to define international team and conflicts and identify the essential competencies for a manager and employee of international teams. It is argued that everyone in an international team should possess more skills and competencies than those who belong to homogeneous teams. As a result, representatives of international team must be able to understand culturally diverse backgrounds manage conflicts constructively, and comprehend different strategies to handle sensitive cases. The research begins by reviewing literature on culture, cultural dimensions in the team and conflict. A survey was performed on 167 individuals from various cultural backgrounds to analyze their attitudes towards multicultural teams and their managers. Some findings are in accordance with theories and some show different interesting opinions experienced pragmatically by the respondents. Eventually, the author based on the results obtained from the empirical research and the theoretical literatures has created a recommendation.

Utváření kolektivní inteligence v kyberprostoru na příkladu počítačových her / Shaping of Collective Intelligence in Cyberspace on the Example of Computer Games

Chaloupková, Šárka January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the tehesis is to describe the formation of collective intelligence in cyberspace and focus on its use on the example of computer games. The idea is based on the works of Pierre Lévy, who believes that in the digital revolution is the value of the picture one of the most important. In this process plays an equally important role to increase the value of ideas, narratives, social communities and the development of new media tools and technologies. Along with that, in addition to the internal space of videogames (story progression, social interaction, building of the gaming space, gaming subculture, roleplay), shapes even the space beyond the game itself (transmedia storytelling, produsage - fan sites, content sharing, discussion forums). Thesis will be listed by concepts of collective intelligence, the progress of social memory, cyberspace and will be also inspired by other authors who works with collective intelligence, like Henry Jenkins, James Surowiecki or Derrick de Kerckhove. It should also provide an opposite view of the problem based on the work of opponents, which is eg. Cory Doctorow. Strategies and the use of the collective intelligence will be described by using the example of the specific games.

Právní aspekty umělé inteligence / Legal Protection of Artificial Intelligence

Peychlová, Aneta January 2021 (has links)
Legal aspects of Artificial Intelligence Abstract Similarly to other new technologies, the legal regulation of artificial intelligence is still somewhat behind its rapid expansion and frequent use in the daily activities of the general population. For this reason, this diploma thesis deals with the currently used and future legislation in this area. As the general concept and the issue of liability have already been addressed in previously published academic works, this text focuses mainly on aspects of copyright law. The main goal is to explain the current concept of the role of artificial intelligence in Czech copyright regulation and its pitfalls. In the next phase, the text presents the options of the legal concept of artificial intelligence abroad and their influence on potential further development at both the European and Czech level. The first chapter introduces the basic concepts, especially the concept of artificial intelligence itself. It describes the history of its origin and the fragmentation of views on its definition as well as its consequences for society. Within the understanding of artificial intelligence as a technology, one of the subchapters is also devoted to the comparison of its various divisions and types, in order to create a realistic idea of the current boundaries of its...

Strojové učení pro simulovaná vojenská vozidla / Machine Learning for Simulated Military Vehicles

Závorka, Kamil January 2021 (has links)
Recent research in the field of neural networks has shown that this is a very promising area of artificial intelligence. Results of the research indicate that neural networks are currently able to at least match humans in many areas. One of the intensively researched sectors is the driving of autonomous vehicles. Although most people focus on autonomous vehicles in the real world, this new artificial intelligence can also be beneficial for driving in the digital world. As more and more activities and experiments are being moved from real environments to simulated environments, the demands on the quality of artificial intelligence found in digital environments are also increasing. The aim of this work was to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence based on deep feedback learning in the field of parking simulated vehicles. Based on this research, we created a prototype neural network and evaluated this prototype during parking in a simulated environment.

Umělá inteligence a právo duševního vlastnictví / Artificial intelligence and law

Přibyl, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
1 Abstract Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property: This thesis deals with relationship of Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property. The main goal of this thesis is to provide its reader with a comprehensive overview of the issues of Intellectual Property in connection with creative and inventive activity of AI. Above all, the thesis examines whether it is possible for AI to acquire intellectual property rights to copyrighted works or inventions. In case of impossibility of obtaining rights by AI itself, it then then searches for the person who shall, according to the current legislation, become the owner of intellectual property rights, both abroad and in the Czech Republic. In order to meet the above set objectives, the work is divided into 4 parts, which are then divided into chapters. The first introductory part focuses on AI itself. It discusses its definition, categorization and considers the possibility of classifying AI as either natural or legal person. At the same time a proposal for the creation of a new special category of electronic person, as presented by the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs, is discussed and, in addition, the author himself discusses the advantages and disadvantages of introducing a new category of person for which the term electronic person...
