Technical Feasibility Study for Implementing and Visualizing Diving Tracks in 3D in a Web Platform

Heinemann, Jakob January 2014 (has links)
This thesis describes how positional data gathered from a diving device can be visualized in a regular browser on mobile as well as stationary devices utilizing built-in connections to the GPU with OpenGL. In this work a platform and a visualization prototype are designed, implemented and evaluated. The results show that WebGL is available to most platforms but notably not on devices running iOS. The web browser can be used for implementing advanced functionality but the performance on the handheld devices needs to be improved. The thesis discusses and proposes a design for getting more enjoyment out of diving based on the observations of the implementation and suggests an entertaining social platform for adventures.

Vizualizace dat z MBI / Visualization of the MBI data

Syrovátka, Adam January 2016 (has links)
The topic of this master's thesis is to design and implement a web application for visualization of relationships between the MBI objects in order to deliver additional functionality to the web portal of MBI - Management of Business Informatics. The first part introduces the concept of MBI and ranks the functionality of the MBI web portal from the view of user queries and visualization capabilities. The queries which are identified as the most difficult are set as the primary functional request for the new web application. The second part contains the design and implementation of the web application. Both functional and non-functional requirements are specified, including the design of user interface and visual graph searching. Based on these requirements, a suitable application architecture is selected together with a graph database and suitable query library and visualization library. The application is implemented with the selected technologies and tested against the initial requirements. The last part includes a service manual and a user documentation which describes the complete application functionality and provides a use case scenario.

Accessing timesheets via internet through ASP and ODBC

Challa, Varshi 01 January 2000 (has links)
The purpose of this project is to develop a computerized timesheet application. Using this application, an employee of a company can log onto the company's Web site and fill out a timesheet from anywhere in the world. The project involved automating timesheet data entry and approval procedures using contemporary technologies like Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, VB Script, Component Object Model (COM), Components and Open Database connectivity (ODBC).

Web Texturizer: Exploring intra web document dependencies

Tandon, Seema Amit 01 January 2004 (has links)
The goal of this project is to create a customized web browser to facilitate the skimming of documents by offsetting the document with relevant information. This project added techniques of learning information retrieval to automate the web browsing experience to the web texturizer. The script runs on the web texturizer website; and it allows users to quickly navigate through the web page.

CodePaint : Transcription labs on the web for study visits and exercises / CodePaint : Avskrivningslabbar på webben för studiebesök och övningar

Johansson, Samuel January 2021 (has links)
A seemingly unexplored territory in teaching computer programming is transcription labs. With transcription referring to "transcribe" in the sense of "to make an exact copy of". In transcription labs students are given the complete code and are asked to transcribe it into their own window before they are able to run it. This approach may be interesting as it forces students to engage with the material more than if they had been given a runnable program outright, while still providing a limited, and in some sense safe, learning environment. This project focuses on creating a web application for transcription labs to serve as a jump-off point into exploration of such labs.  Additionally, this thesis contains a preliminary study that aims at gauging if further exploration of transcription labs is worthwhile. The result of the preliminary study indicates that the answer to that question is yes, it is worthwhile exploring transcription labs further.

Návrh dílčí části informačního systému pro vybraný subjekt / Proposal of Part of Information System for Selected Subject

Langer, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with the analysis, proposal and implementation of part of the information system for a selected subject, specifically the proposal of a website including a web application for content management of selected parts of the website. For a successful proposal solution it is very important the first analysis together with requirements of the contracting authority. The graphic design phase occurs after analysis and is followed by the development of the website and the application for content management. After testing and agreement of the proposal solution from the contracting authority the website and application are implemented to the server site. In the final part of the thesis an economic evaluation and benefit’s analysis of the proposal solution are done.

Přenos a zobrazení videa v prohlížeči pro záznam pracovní plochy / Processing and Streaming Video in Browser for Screen Recording

Svačina, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
Aim of the thesis is to design and implement unique service based on the newest technologies in web apps fi eld which allows screen recording followed by P2P distribution between participating users using web browser only. Thesis deals with the analysis of modern and coming technologies which allow practical implementation of such a service. It involves obtaining access to the screen source data, its recording, transforming and transmission over the network followed by playing on the other side. Recorded videos are adapted for part by part use in a player with seeking capability. Distributed architecture for data exchange between peers using peer-to-peer connection based on hybrid P2P VoD network provides scalability of the solution. The player allows obtaining the necessary parts of the videos from the current watchers with smooth video playback experience during ongoing transmissions whilst allowing arbitrary video shifting. In consideration of early stages of development or experimental support for some of the APIs needed for this work, research into browsers' support with discussion on realistic applicability nowadays is always performed.
