Directions, where my practical part of thesis lead me, is preset moment "now", its understanding in different disciplines and also empiric examination of collision between the time of inside quality and time, which has set independent scale into our world - chronological time. Motive for choosing such topic is mainly my own experience, but it is also reaction to contemporary tendencies in art scene, which (by my opinion) are turning away from present. The outcome of this interest is a video Uchopit okamžik/hold the moment ( 08'30 '' , 2016) filmed at studio keying screen accompanied by audio commentary. The second video Natáhnout okamžik/extend the moment ( 01'00 '', 2016) is a video recording of my own experience with time. I came out from my own experience and also resources and nonfiction of the phenomenological texts by authors such as Emmanuel Lévians or Jan Sokol.

The present study focuses on the two broad areas of theory and history of Czech verse, rhyme and stanza. The first part of the study is dedicated to the rhyme. It contains a historical and terminological introduction and a comprehensive description and interpretation of principles of rhyme in Czech accentual-syllabic verse (19th century). The characterization of the principles of rhyme in other versification systems (syllabic verse, quantitative verse) and in free verse is allocated in the separate sections. Methodologically, the first part is based on the tradition of Czech structuralism. The second part, dedicated to the stanza, brings a similarly conceived interpretation of stanzaic forms in the Czech syllabic and accentual-syllabic verse. Given the absence of Czech tradition, the second part is methodologically inspired by French metrics. In addition to terminological and methodological apparatus the second part includes an inventory of basic stanzaic forms in the Czech verse and its analysis. A separate section within the second part is devoted to the small group of quantitative stanzas employed in Czech verse. Obrazy Hendricka van Balena ve sbírkách zemí českých. Inspirace pro van Balenovy figurální kompozice a jejich vliv na další umělecké generace. Abstract The diploma thesis fucuses on the paintings by Hendrick van Balen (1575-1632), which are found in Czech collections. The main point of this thesis is a figurative stint in cabinet painting, which was the domain of the Antwerp painter Hendrick van Balen. there will be also hightlighted Hendrick van Balen's collaboration with Jan Brueghel Older, who became a part of his work as the author of still life and nature in Balen's paintings. On specific works from the Czech collections will by pointed out the possible inspiration in the figures of rudolfinian masters Hans von Aachen and Josef Heintz and parallels in their work, and the influence on the cabinet painting of the 18th century painters, Johan Georg Platzer (1704-1761) and his follower Franz Christophr Jannecka (1703-1761). English The figure of Christian Schröder has been the pretext to address the attention to several problematic in the History of Modern Art in Bohemia. The issues are modelled on the evolution of the painter's career. Speaking about his beginnings at the service of Count Slavata, the function of Schröder as court painter has been discussed. The discover of archival documents concerning his study trip to Italy opens to the discussion on the artistic training in Italy as a phenomenon common to many painters from Bohemia. After his return in Prague, Schröder faced the choice to submit to the guild of painters or to get the post of Imperial painter which he finally obtained. Shortly after, he passed to the function of keeper of the Prague Castle picture gallery affirming himself as teacher of a group of students, among them Petr Brandl. Schröder's role as teacher is rethought on the light of the artistic situation of the last decade of the 17th century in Prague. The Munich agreement signed on the 29th of September 1938 has always been giving rise to strong emotions in Czech society. This event, frequently described as "about us, without us", is a synonym for humiliation, injustice and a symbol of betrayal for many. The historian Jan Tesař holds a non-traditional point of view on this matter. He opposes this established interpretation and sees it as a source of origin of the so-called Munich Complex. The proposed diploma thesis focuses on this phenomenon, which is examined in printed media. Firstly, it provides a brief historical context and introduces an overview of different interpretations of Munich events within Czech historiography as well as describes the arguments of Tesař himself. Furthermore, the Munich complex is conceptualized and the resulting concept includes variables necessary for the research part of the thesis. This section consists of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the content of selected representative media samples. Among examined aspects are arguments used in the press, patterns of interpretation and attributed meanings. The time scope for analysis ranges from 1948 to 2018.
