Numerical modeling of CdS/CdTe Thin Film Solar Cell using MEDICIMuthuswamy, Gokul 26 October 2005 (has links)
Thin Film CdS/CdTe Solar cells have been an attrative alternative to silicon solar cells because of their low cost. Numerical Modeliong using using various tools pertinent only to solar cells have been employed to study the device properties. In this work a powerful device simulation tool MEDICI is used to develop a quantitative device model. The model is modified to accommodate a glass layer and an AM1.5 spectrum is used as the simlation of light source. Analysis of the response of solar cell J-V parameters like voc and Jsc to changes in acceptor concentration, CdTe thickness and changes in the work function of the back contact under intrinsic conditions were done. Trap levels were then added in the midgap regionof the device and the earlier variations were comprehensively studied to establish the trap parameters. Further this model was extended to perform the C-V analysis of the device. Finally two cases were analysed having their energy band profile as the baseline to fix their corresponding J-V responses. The anamolous behaviour of the J-V curves namely the rollover and crossover effects were noted in detail.

Pašarų, pašarų papildų bei premiksų eksporto dinamikas UAB „Biofabrikas“ / Feed, feed aditives and premixes export dynamics in JSC “Biofabrikas“Tarulis, Donatas 20 March 2008 (has links)
Nuo 2004 metų Lietuvos užsienio prekybos deficitas nuolat augo ir 2007 metais siekė beveik 18 milijardų litų. Norint sumažinti tokį didlelį užsienio prekybos deficitą, būtina intensyvinti eksportą.
Darbo tikslas: išsiaiškinti pašarų, pašarų papildų ir premiksų rinkos tendencijas Lietuvoje ir UAB „Biofabrikas“ eksporto apimtis bei struktūrą. Išanalizavus užsienio klientų poreikius pateikti pasiūlymus eksporto plėtrai.
Tyrimo objektas - kombinuotųjų pašarų, pašarų papildų ir premiksų gamintojo UAB „Biofabrikas“ eksporto apimtys ir struktūra.
Pagrindiniai darbo uždaviniai: 1. Išanalizuoti UAB „Biofabrikas“ eksporto kitimą 2004-2007 m.m. ir jo priežastis; 2. Išanalizuoti UAB „Biofabrikas“ eksporto struktūrą 2007m. ; 3. Apklausos būdu išsiaiškinti UAB „Biofabrikas“ užsienio klientų poreikius, kurie leistų planuoti ateities eksporto struktūrą bei apimtis; 4. Pateikti UAB „Biofabrikas“ rekomendacijas, kokiais būdais galima išlaikyti ir padidinti eksporto į Latviją, Rusiją ir Baltarusiją apimtis bei pelningumą.
Pagrindin����s išvados ir pasiūlymai: 1. UAB „Biofabrikas“ 2004-2006 m.m. eksporto apimtys augo, o 2007 m. sumažėjo dėl sumažėjusio kombinuotųjų pašarų eksporto į Rusiją. 2. 2007 m. UAB „Biofabrikas“ daugiausiai eksportavo kombinuotųjų pašarų, o premiksai ir pašarų papildai nesudarė ketvirtadalio eksportuotos produkcijos. 3. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Since 2004 deficiency of foreign trade of Lithuania has constantly increased and it has reached nearly 18 milliard Litas in 2007. In order to reduce such big deficiency of foreign trade it is necessary to intensify export.
The aim of this work is: to ascertain market tendencies of forage, feed additives and premixes in Lithuania, as well as to explore the structure and export extent of Joint Stock Company “Biofabrikas”. Moreover, after analyzing the requirements of foreign clients, it was decided to propose suggestions for the development of export.
The object of the research is- export extent and structure of Joint Stock Company “Biofabrikas”, which is a manufacturer of combinative forage, feed additives and premixes.
The main tasks are: 1. To analyze export movement and its reasons of Joint Stock Company “Biofabrikas” in 2004-2007; 2. To analyze export structure of Joint Stock Company “Biofabrikas” in 2007; 3. Using the method of polling to find out the requirements of foreign clients, which could help to plan the prospective export structure and movements; 4. To present guideline to Joint Stock Company “Biofabrikas”, to introduce patterns how to maintain and increase extent and profitability of export to Latvia, Russia and Belarus.

The thesis deals with the concept of corporate philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Our goal is to review the state of corporate philanthropy and CSR in SHP Harmanec, JSC, to explore, by a questionnaire research, the attitudes of young people to 30 years and to draw recommendations for the streamlining of corporate philanthropy in the company. Using the synthesis of the research`s results, it aims to design communication activities, which could present the philanthropic activities to this target group. The work is divided into 9 chapters in two parts. The first theoretical and methodological part summarizes available literature on corporate philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility. The second analytical part analyzes the company SHP Harmanec, JSC, and examines the attitudes, opinions and motivations of the young people to 30 years on the issue of corporate philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Proposal on streamlining corporate philanthropy and suggestions of the best communication activities, which could present the philanthropic activities of the company to the young, are the result.

Vėluojančių užsakymų mažinimas UAB „Baltoji juosta“ / Minimization of late orders at JSC „Baltoji juosta“Turminas, Edvardas 20 March 2009 (has links)
UAB „Baltoji juosta“ yra didžiausia kasos juostų gamybos įmonė Lietuvoje. Šiuolaikiniame verslo pasaulyje siekiant įgyti ar išlaikyti konkurencinį pranašumą yra būtina kaip įmanoma efektyviau valdyti visus įmonėje vykstančius procesus. Įmonėje esantys vėluojantys užsakymai yra veiklos neefektyvumo rodiklis, todėl jį būtina likviduoti.
Pirmoje darbo dalyje buvo atlikta išorinė ir vidinė įmonės aplinkos analizė. Buvo identifikuota rinka ir aprašytos jos tendencijos. Rinkos tendencijoms nustatyti buvo naudojama Lietuvos statistikos departamento (2006) pateikta mažmeninės prekybos įmonių apyvarta (2003-2006) ir nagrinėjamos rinkos ekspertų vertinimai. Nustatyta, kad rinka yra auganti, tačiau augimo tempai mažėja. Šioje dalyje taip pat buvo atliktas rinkos segmentų išskyrimas, kuris atskleidė įmonei prioritetinius segmentus. Įmonės vidinės situacijos analizės metu buvo atlikta SWOT analizė, kuri padėjo identifikuoti vėluojančių užsakymų problemą.
Antroje dalyje buvo atliekama įmonės dokumentų analizė, kurios metu buvo identifikuotos pagrindinės vėluojančių užsakymų atsiradimo priežastys – netinkamas skubių užsakymų valdymo būdas, o taip pat operatyvinės veiklos ir atsargų valdymo proceso problemos. Analizuojant duomenis buvo nustatytos atsargų valdymo proceso neefektyvumo sritys. Taip pat nustatyta, kad net 43% visų įmonės užsakymų vėluoja. In nowadays business world to gain and sustain competitive advantage you should control all company‘s processes with a highest degree of efficiency. Late orders in a company represent inefficiency and therefore they need to be vanished.
In the first part of the paper company‘s internal and external environmental analysis have been done. Under external analysis the market has been identified and tendencies have been overlooked. For this analysis data from Lithuanian department of statistics about retailer‘s sales (2003-2006) was used. Together with field expert‘s comments this data leaded to findings that the market sizes of cash register rolls in Lithuania is growing, however the growth is slowing down. Also segmentation of the market was done and SWOT analysis performed. SWOT analysis helped to identify the importance of late order‘s problem.
In the second part company‘s documents were analyzed. Analysis helped to identify main reasons that lead to late order‘s appearance – inappropriate management of urgent orders in the company as well as operational problems and weak inventory management system. Analyzing company‘s data weak areas of inventory system were found. Also there were calculated that overall company‘s late orders rate is 43% which is a lot. Abstract Purpose of this thesis was composet at two goals. Purpose of the first goal was evaluate present condition of Hospital Pardubice region, jsc. Hospital of Pardubice, personal's knowledges about behavior in cause of extraordinary event with emphasis on evacuation. Next goal was evaluate the overal status of preparedness of the Hospital Pardubice region, jsc. Hospital of Pardubice for evacuation. The basis of the theoretical part is in applicable legal standards of Czech republic, next this part describe planning of evacuation, including software planning, using modeling programs. In this part are describe events, when the evacuation has been done in real. The purpose of the practical part was to evaluate goals, which has been subsequently established by research questions and hypotheses. The purpose of answering the first research question, was evaluated the survey. The questionnaire has had 37 question and had been divided into 5 parts. The survey was realized during February and March 2018 at 6 departments of the Hospital Pardubice region, jsc. Hospital of Pardubice. The return of questionnaires was 58 %. More detailed specifications are given in chapter 4. To confirm whether the refutation of hypothesis nr. 1 was key respondents' answers to the questions asked, whose accuracy was compared based on the set 80% success rate of the right answers. In order to confirm whether or not the hypothesis nr. 2 was refuted, the results were subsequently processed by the 2 test statistic method - test of good agreement, which should confirm, or refute dependence of individual departments on their responses. For confirmation or refutation hypothese nr. 3, was compared results of this theses survey and results of bachelour thesis results. After the examination of the second research question, a comparison of the hospital's internal documentation with valid legal norms was carried out. An interview with the crisis manager was carried out, which examined the issue of population protection in the hospital. Last part of this research the analysis of questions (5, 7, 8, 13, 21, 24 and 25) of the questionnaire (Appendix 1). The overall success rate of staff awareness is 61 %, according to results. The overall preparedness of the hospital to evacuation is very good. The results of diploma thesis will be used especially for the analysis of own prepeardeness of the Hospital Pardubice region, jsc.
