Tempiamų daugiasluoksnių konstrukcinių elementų projektavimo proceso modeliavimas / The Modelling of Design Process of the Stretched Multilayer Structural Elements

This thesis presents the software program for multilayer structural elements design. The main users of the software should be bachelor and master students of mechanical technology department and their professors as well. The program can be successfully applied for computations of mechanical characteristics of the real (industrial) problems. This program is able to choose the multilayer structural elements type and its mechanical and geometrical parameters. While the program is running the user can watch the calculated values of the parameters, plots of the main dependencies and explanations of main operations being performed with the program variables. The algorithm of the program assumes that the model multilayer structural elements is idealized, i.e. uniaxial stretching, which is simple and quite adequate. The program is developed for training purposes, so the algorithm used is idealized and not sophisticated but preserving the main features of multilayer structural elements calculation. There is given a comparison of the program with the similar one calculating two materials composite developed by foreign researchers. The program calculates three most often used multilayer structural elements structures (there is no limit of the amount of layers). The presented original program is written in Microsoft programming language Visual Basic 6 and can be used on computers running Windows 9x/Me/Xp.

Kompozitinių plienbetoninių sijų su plieniniais plaušais armuotu betonu elgsenos tyrimas / Analysis of behaviour of composite steel and steel fiber reinforced concrete beams

Pasaulyje plačiai naudojamos kompozitinės plieno-betono konstrukcijos, o jų darbo ypatumai yra sudėtingi ir nėra iki galo ištirti. Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjama plieninio pluošto ir jungių, išdėstytų skirtingu atstumu, įtaka kompozitinių plieno-betono konstrukcijų mechaninėms savybėms. Siekiant nustatyti plieninių jungių ir metalinio pluošto įtaką kompozitinės sijos bendram darbui, bei betono mechaninėms savybėms, atlikti analitiniai skaičiavimai ir eksperimentinis tyrimas. Darbą sudaro trys dalys. Pirmoje dalyje aptariama tokių konstrukcijų darbo problematika. Antroje dalyje pristatomas eksperimentinis tyrimas, jo darbo eiga bei gauti rezultatai. Trečioje dalyje atliekami analitiniai skaičiavimai ir gauti rezultatai lyginami su eksperimentiniais. / In the world composite steel-concrete structures are widely used, and their features are complex and not fully investigated. At the final master work the steel fiber and connectors, placed in different distance, influence to composite steel-concrete structures mechanical properties are analized. To determine the steel joint and a steel-fiber influence to composite's overall work, and mechanical properties of concrete, was performed out analytical calculations and experimental. The work consists of three parts. The first part deals with the problems of construction work. The second part presents the experimental study, its process and the obtained results. The third part presents analytical calculations and obtained results are compared with experimental results.

Natūralaus pluošto įtaka polimerinių kompozitų savybėms / Natural fibre composites on the mechanical properties of polymer

Tyrimo tikslas – įvertinti skirtingo natūralaus pluošto įtaką kompozicinės medžiagos polietilenas – pluoštas“ mechaninėms savybėms. Bandinių gamyba bei medžiagų mechaninių savybių tyrimai atlikti 2013/2014 m. Aleksandro Stulginskio universitete, Jėgos ir transporto mašinų inžinerijos instituto ir Žemės ūkio inžinerijos ir saugos instituto laboratorijose. Tyrinėjami kompozitai armuoti trimis skirtingai natūraliais pluoštais: kanapių, dilgėlių ir linų. Polietileno klijų kompozitas armuojamas keturiais kiekiais pluošto: 5 %,7 %, 10 % ir12 %. Tempimo ir lenkimo bandymai atlikti „Instron“ medžiagų savybių tyrimo stendu, nustatyta apkrova, kurią atlaiko bandinys ir deformacija. Atlikus lenkimo ir tempimo tyrimus nustatyta, kad geriausia armuojanti medžiaga yra kanapių pluoštas. Tempiant atlaikė didžiausią apkrovą – 753,7 N ir deformavosi 4 mm. Lenkiant kanapių pluoštu armuotas bandinys atlaikė 24,3 N apkrovą ir deformavosi 11,6 mm. / The aim - to evaluate the influence of different natural fiber composite polyethylene - fibers' mechanical properties. Specimen fabrication and mechanical properties of the materials were tested in 2013/2014 year. Alexander Stulginskio University, Power and Transport Machine Engineering and the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Safety Institute laboratories. Reinforced composites are studied in three different natural fibers: hemp, ramie and flax. Polyethylene adhesive composite reinforced with four volumes of fiber: 5%, 7%, 10%, and 12%. Tensile and flexural tests were examined by using "Instron" material properties testing machine down load the sample and can withstand deformation. After bending and tensile tests showed that the best reinforcement material is hemp. Tensile withstood the maximum load - 753.7 N and deformed 4 mm. bending of hemp fiber reinforced sample withstood 24.3 N load and 11.6 mm.

Kompozitinių medienos-betono sijų ir jungių kūrimas ir bandymai / Development and Testing of Composite Timber-Concrete Beams and Connectors

Recently more and more buildings of light structures have been built in Lithuania as well as in other European and world countries. Nevertheless, timber products are not widely used for floors in this share of construction market. Traditional light timber frame floors are characterized by vibrations, acoustic transmission and low fire resistance. The above-mentioned problems can be rationally solved by using timber-concrete composite (hereinafter TCC) floors. In comparison with entirely timber floors such type of floors are characterised not only by increased strength and stiffness but also by increased fire resistance and better sound insulation. In comparison with reinforced concrete floors manufactured of non-regenerative sources TCC floors are lighter and more economic. These characteristics stimulate usage of TCC floors in newly built buildings. It should also be noted that usage of timber in building structures instead of concrete or steel could substantially decrease energy demand and emission of carbon dioxide during production. In this work author presents TCC structural solution when thin-webbed beams (I-joists) used for timber floor beams instead of solid or glued rectangular beams. Thin-webbed beams are without upper flange of structural timber. Embedding in concrete a part of web of oriented strand board (hereinafter OSB) connects the OSB web and the concrete slab. The influence of long-term load on the reinforced concrete beams strength-ened with a carbon fiber composite layer in the tensioned zone is considered in this dissertation. The evolution of deformations in the layers of the beams and the evolution of beam deflection is analyzed. The load carrying capacities after a long-term load action are also determined herein. The built-up-bars theory for calculation of deflections and the load carrying capacity after a long-term load action is presented in this dissertation. The thesis consists of an introduction, four main chapters, the results and conclusions and a list of used literature. The introduction describes the major objectives of the dissertation. It pre-sents the aims, the methods of research, the scientific novelty and defended pro-positions. The first chapter reviews application of carbon fiber composite polymer in strengthening structures. The influence of a long term load on concrete, polymer matrix, carbon fiber reinforced composite, strengthened concrete beams is also considered. In addition, it considers the calculation methods that evaluate the long term load influence. The second chapter is dedicated to applying of the built-up-bars theory in calculation of deflections and the load carrying capacity, including long term load action. Disertacinio darbo tikslas – atlikti eksperimentinius tyrimus ir nustatyti ilgalaikės apkrovos poveikį sijos laikomajai galiai bei įlinkių vysty-muisi; apskaičiuoti sijos įlinkį pagal sudėtinių strypų teoriją įvertinant ilgalaikės statinės apkrovos poveikį bei betono ir anglies pluošto kompozito jungties stan-dumo pokytį dėl šlyties valkšnumo deformacijų prieaugio.
