The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the corporate culture of UniCredit Group. The thesis also analyses the influence of Italian national culture on corporate culture of the UniCredit Group. The theoretical part describes the corporate culture, its determinants, typology and strategies used in international expansion. The practical part introduces the UniCredit Group, its history on the czech market and it also includes the evaluation of the corporate culture. In the end, there is an analysis of Italian national culture being one of the determinants of the UniCredit Groups corporate culture.

This diploma thesis deals with the corporate culture of selected home care agencies in South Moravian Region. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the existing corporate cultures of selected home care agencies and to propose series of actions to improve the current situation. In the thesis, general characteristics of the corporate culture of home care agencies are determined using the obtained results and their comparison. Academic research deals with the concepts of home care and corporate culture, their components, creation, change and diagnostics. The thesis itself contains information about the selected agencies and evaluation of the results of the investigation, mainly questionnaires. Based on the survey results, an evaluation of corporate cultures is presented, followed by recommendation for improvement. Finally, the general specifics of corporate culture of home care agencies are summarized.

Title of diploma thesis: Plant tissue culture of Juniperus virginiana The derivation of callus cultures from leaves of Juniperus virginiana (varieties Hetzii, Glauca and Grey Owl) and determination of their growth curves were studied in this work. The cultures were cultivated at the temperature of 25 řC and light period of 16 hours light/8 hours dark on the Schenk and Hildebrandt medium with the addition of 3.0 mg.l-1 α-NAA and 0.2 mg. l-1 kinetin. It is clear from the growth curves, that all three varieties reached their maximum in growth on 35th day of the cultivation. The best results were achieved by variety Glauca.

Legal Culture of the State of Israel Keywords: Israel, legal culture The present legal system of the State of Israel is unique because of its mixing of different legal sources. The legal environment is characterized by interfacing of principles arising out of common law and continental law as well as religious law. The object of this thesis is to analyze how these different legal sources are mixing in modern Israeli legal system. The main question to be answered by this analysis is whether the Israeli legal system can be qualified as the member of one from basic legal cultures of the world (i.e. common law or continental law). Eventually whether the combination of legal aspects is specific so much it is necessary to speak about absolutely unique legal culture category. The thesis focuses on intercultural comparison of temporality models. The time in this research is being examined as a social-cultural category: as the basic component of the social system determining its entire dynamics and serving the purpose of organization and synchronization of its inner components. It intends to capture the cultural function of temporality model, its connection with the economical, historical, cosmological and religious system of the society and with its inner stratification. The focal point of the thesis lies in the comparison of the cyclical temporality models (as we find them among the indigenous nations and archaic cultures) with linear quantitative models of time within the modern societies (especially the Western civilization) and with comparative examination of the "sources" and "purposes" of time in both cultural types. The object of the paper is a theoretical analysis of the human body phenomenon as a distinctive cultural construction. Particular attention will be payed to forces by which, in a concrete cultural context, the body is transformed into symbolic and semiotic category, shared by members of a given culture. The paper aims to utilize the scientific potential of anthropology, which studies the human being as a unique unity of both superorganic and somatic components, verifying the hypothesis that the human body is not only a biological organism, but in the enculturation process becomes a symbolic object- a "somatized culture". Acculturation of the sample of expatriate senior managers - sojourners working in the Czech Republic was studied using structured longitudinal survey. Quantitative analysis of the survey data was supported by qualitative analysis. For comparison, the process o acculturation was also investigated in the sample o immigrant senior managers to Australia. Major aim of this research was, apart from gaining theoretical knowledge, an attempt to better understand the process of cultural adaptation of sojourners - senior managers responsible for the transfer of management know-how to companies in the Czech Republic in order to improve their competitive advantage. The success of adaptation of sojourners - senior managers in the Czech Republic was studied using indicators of adaptation success (Reflective Effect Indicators-REI) including Goldberg's General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and satisfaction scales. Research was longitudinal, the first interview was conducted about six months, and the second interview was conducted about eighteen months after arrival of investigated subjects into the new cultural environment. Základní elementy Bushovy doktríny jsou tedy politika preemptivního zásahu, který vychází z práva na sebeobranu a práva jednat unilaterálně, pokud to bude nutné k prosazení amerických zájmů. Stoupenci preemptivních zásahů říkají, že politika odstrašování předpokládá, že potenciální nepřítel je racionální stát, který nezasáhne v případě, kdyby to znamenalo jeho zničení. Tato doktrína vypadá, jako by podporovala přiměřenou reakci na revidovanou koncepci asymetrické války. Vojensky podřadné síly a povstalecká hnutí si tady nárokují právo použít normálně zakázanou taktiku, jako jsou útoky na civilní cíle a další akce zakázané válečných právem za předpokladu, že ty silnější státy jsou jím stále vázány.

Předmětem mé diplomové práce bylo shodnocení vývoje kulturní prostředí mezi nejmladší generací v Číně. Srovnání tradičních hodnot se změnami, které se odehrávají ve společnosti v současnosti a přibližují je tak podobě ve vyspělých státech. Důraz je kladen možnost oslovit mladou čínskou generaci pomocí médií, především televizního vysílání a internetu a ovlivnit tak jejich nákupní chování.
