Nosso objeto de estudo se refere às representações sociais construídas e compartilhadas entre sujeitos que experienciaram o trabalho infantil na infância e/ou dão aulas para crianças e adolescentes trabalhadores. Nesse sentido, o objetivo é compreender as representações sociais de profissionais da educação e famílias acerca do trabalho e do trabalho infantil e sua avaliação quanto ao(s) impacto(s) sobre a vida de crianças e adolescentes trabalhadore(a)s, principalmente nas áreas de educação e desenvolvimento. Adotamos como perspectiva teórica entender o trabalho infantil para além de análises generalizantes sobre seus prejuízos e/ou benefícios, utilizadas para justificar a inserção precoce em trabalho. A pesquisa foi dividida em duas fases e contou com a participação de profissionais da educação e famílias oriundos de duas escolas públicas estaduais do município de Presidente Prudente/SP. Na fase I, procedemos à aplicação de um questionário, em ambas as escolas, o qual foi respondido por 45 profissionais da educação e 72 famílias, cujo objetivo foi traçar o perfil dos participantes, sua opinião quanto ao impacto/interferência do trabalho na vida de quem o exerce e questões de evocação... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This study is linked to the Graduate Program in Education, at São Paulo State University, Campus of Presidente Prudente/SP, more specifically to the Research Line "Formative Processes, Difference and Values". The focus of our study refers to the social representations built and shared among individuals who had the experience of child labor in the past or that teaches for working children. In this sense, the aim of our study is to understand the social representations of education professionals and families about work and child labor and its assessment o f the (s) impact (s) on the lives of working children and adolescents, especially in areas of education and development. We adopt as a theoretical perspective the comprehension of child labor as a phenomenon that must be understood through the lens of a broader conception of child work and labor, that do not make general assertions about the losses and / or benefits used in order to justify the early inclusion of children in work. The research was conducted in two phases and it encompasses the participation of professionals of education and families from two public schools in the city of Presidente Prudente/SP. Afonso Henriques (1109-1185), que se encontram nas seguintes crônicas: Crónica Geral de Espanha de 1344, preparada pelo conde D. Pedro de Barcelos, Crónica de Portugal de 1419, anônima, mas atribuída por alguns estudiosos a Fernão Lopes, e Crónica de El-Rey D. Afonso Henriques, compilada por Duarte Galvão em 1505. O objetivo do confronto é pôr em evidência três versões de séculos diferentes de uma mesma história, para, assim, tentar notar as atualizações do passado que cada cronista realiza, a despeito de estruturarem seus textos a partir do recurso da compilação. Esta interrogação específica encontra-se norteada por um objetivo mais geral que é o de indagar sobre os parâmetros do fazer histórico no final da Idade Média e, para tanto, serão desdobrados nos capítulos da dissertação alguns temas incontornáveis para se entender as especificidades desse fazer histórico: as práticas de leitura possíveis entre os cronistas, o papel da compilação na construção das suas narrativas, a verdade histórica pretendida pelos cronistas, a noção de tempo nas crônicas, os diálogos dos cronistas com o seu tempo e os objetivos que norteiam cada uma das elaborações selecionadas. Em suma, o que se pretende é entender a construção da história de D. Afonso Henriques em três tempos diferentes, levando em conta que o fazer cronístico era a forma por excelência de registro do passado do século XII ao século XV / Abstract: The research has as proposal to comapare three versions fo the history of the first portuguese king, D. Afonso Henriques (1109-1185), which are found in the following chronicles: Crónica Geral de Espanha de 1344, prepared by D. Peter Barcelos' earl, Crónica de Portugal de 1419, attributed by some writes to Fernão Lopes, and Crónica de El-Rey D. Afonso Henriques, compiled by Duarte Galvão, in 1505. The objective of the comparison is to emphasize three versions of the same history from different centuries to, thus, try to notice the updates of the past that each chronicler accomplishes, despite structuring their texts from the source of compilation. This specific inquiry is oriented by a wider objective, which is to ask about the patterns of the historic labor of the late Middle Age and, for that, some themes will be developed in the elapse of the chapters, such as: the possibilities of the chroniclers' reading, the role of the compilation in their narratives, the historical truth pretended by the chroniclers, the time organization in the chronicles, the values of the writing time of the chronicles and the objectives of their elaborations. Orientador: Helen Babosa Rais Engler / Banca: Maria Lúcia Martinelli / Banca: Maurílio Castro de Matos / Banca: Mário José Filho / Banca: Ana Cristina Nassif Soares / Resumo: O presente estudo consistiu em trazer para a pauta de discussão do Serviço Social algumas reflexões sobre as condições de vida, de trabalho, assim como as estratégias de sobrevivência das trabalhadoras da confecção do município de Divinópolis, localizado na região centro oeste do Estado de Minas Gerais. Tal município tem grande destaque econômico no contexto regional devido ao setor metalúrgico e à produção do vestuário. Vale ressaltar que neste lócus o ramo confeccionista emprega em maior proporção o segmento feminino da população em detrimento de uma maior incorporação masculina na metalurgia. Com base nessa realidade, este percurso investigativo priorizou o universo da confecção com vistas a compreender as experiências e o cotidiano das mulheres que atuam como costureiras tanto no espaço fabril quanto no trabalho domiciliar, em um quadro de precarização das relações de trabalho, o que contribuiu para o agravamento da questão social. Para a compreensão dessa dinâmica societária, foi necessária uma análise sobre as assimetrias presentes nas relações de gênero e as profundas alterações ocorridas nos últimos decênios no mundo do trabalho frente à adoção da reestruturação produtiva, que trouxe implicações para as condições de vida dos trabalhadores. Nesse quadro, cabe mencionar que as mulheres ingressaram de forma massiva no mundo do trabalho, no momento em que se verifica o desmonte dos direitos trabalhistas, crescimento do desemprego, degradação das condições de trabalho e intensificação de atividades marcadas pela informalidade, diante das prerrogativas da acumulação flexível. Tal situação que ordena o mundo do trabalho na sociedade atual, caracterizada pela reestruturação produtiva, também passou a ser implementada no município de Divinópolis, em especial na indústria da confecção, universo desta pesquisa... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present study brought to the agenda of discussion of the Social Work some reflections on living conditions, work, and the survival strategies of working clothing in the city of Divinópolis, located in the central west of Minas Gerais. This city has great economic prominence in the regional context due to the metallurgical sector and the production of clothing. It is noteworthy that in this locus, the clothing branch employs a greater proportion of the female segment of the population at the expense of a greater incorporation male in metallurgy. Given this reality, this researching prioritized the world of the confection in order to understand the experiences and daily life of women who work as seamstresses as both work in the factory space and at home in a context of precarious employment relationships, which contributed to the aggravation of social problems. For a better comprehension of this societal dynamics, it was required an analysis of the present asymmetries in gender relations and the profound changes in recent decades in the working world before the adoption of the restructuring process, which has implications for the living conditions of workers. In this context, it is worth mentioning that women entered massively in the workplace, at a time that it saw the dismantling of labor rights, increased unemployment, deterioration of working conditions and intensification of activities marked by informality, given the prerogatives of flexible accumulation. This situation ordering the world of work in modern society characterized by productive restructuring also became to be implemented in the city of Divinópolis, particularly in the clothing industry, the locus of this research. Os esquemas dos ninhos foram confeccionados aproximando-se do natural no campo, sugerindo uma arquitetura pouco elaborada, com as câmaras e túneis distribuídos superficialmente no subsolo, sendo similar ao padrão de outras espécies da subfamília Ponerinae. Os dados comportamentais foram obtidos usando o método "scanning sample" e etograma comparativo. 0 repertório comportamental de Pachycondyla striata apresentou 46 atos, exibindo diferenças significativas de comportamento entre rainhas e operárias. A postura de ovos na posição "C" das rainhas e operárias é considerado primitivo por assemelhar-se ao de vespas do gênero Eustenogaster. 0 comportamento de dominância registrado para esta espécie pode estar relacionado ao de recrutamento e reprodução. O repertório comportamental desta espécie monomórfica sugere que as tarefas realizadas estão fundamentadas na idade dos indivíduos. A tabela de vida das operárias foi calculada segundo o método de CAREY, (1993). Pachycondyla striata atinge uma longevidade média de 74,48 ± 48,31 dias (l - 463, N = 798), cujo valor é semelhante à expectativa de vida no primeiro dia de idade (ex = 73,32). Esta espécie apresentou alto índice de mortalidade dos indivíduos jovens. O valor da entropia em operárias de Pachycondyla striata é de H = 0,611. O número de operárias desta espécie na arena de forrageamento aumenta de acordo com a carência nutritiva da colônia. / Abstract: This work seeks to contribute to the knowledge on nest architecture, division of labor, temporal polyethism and life table of the species Pacchycondyla striata. The nest designs were made in the field, indicating a poorly-elaborated architecture, with their chambers and tunnels distributed close to the horizontal surface of the ground, similar to the pattern of other species of the subfamily Ponerinae. The behavioral data were obtained using the scanning sample method and comparative ethogram. The behavioral repertoire of Pachycondyla striata showed 46 actions, with significant behavior differences between queens and workers. Laying eggs at the position "c" of the queens and workers is considered primitive, once it resembles those of the wasps of the genus Eustenogaster. The dominance behavior observed in this species may be related to the recruiting and reproduction behaviors. The behavioral repertoire of this monomorphic species suggests that tasks performed are based on the age of the individuals. The life table of the workers was calculated according to CAREY, (1993). Pachycondyla striata reaches an average longevity of 74.48 ± 48.31 days (l - 463, N = 798), whose value is similar to the life expectation on the first day of life (ex = 73.32). This species showed a high mortality rate among young individuals. The value of the entropy for the workers of Pachycondyla striata is H = 0.611. The number of workers of this species in the foraging arena increases with to the nutrition needs of the colony. / Mestre

Orientador: Francisco Hashimoto / Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa consistiu em investigar o sofrimento psíquico dos indivíduos que se encontram trabalhando como mototaxistas, buscando a compreensão das questões subjetivas na construção da relação de trabalho. Levou-se em consideração a articulação, realizada pelos sujeitos, entre os conteúdos subjetivos, produzidos internamente durante suas histórias de vida, e os conteúdos objetivos, decorrentes do contexto material, social e histórico. O referencial teórico fundamentou-se, principalmente pela Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, enfatizando o autor Dejours (1986, 1992, 1993, 1999), bem como Pellegrino (1987), Gaulejac (2001). Em termos metodológicos, foram coletados os dados, por meio de entrevistas semidirigidas, com os mototaxistas da cidade de Assis (S.P.). O resultados apontaram que os trabalhadores apresentam indícios de sofrimento patogênico, pois a relação dos sujeitos entrevistados com a atividade que executam não propicia uma boa manutenção da saúde mental. Tal situação se apresenta como um grande círculo vicioso: dificuldade financeira, falta de identificação com o trabalho, falta de apoio dos órgãos competentes, falta de reconhecimento social e uma perigosa condição de trabalho. Os motoqueiros são obrigados a recorrer a algumas estratégias de defesa para lidarem com as dificuldades cotidianas que surgem no exercício laboral. O trabalho é encarado, por muitos, como a única maneira de promoverem a sua subsistência e a subsistência de suas famílias. / Abstract: This research was carried out to study the psychic suffering undergone by motorcycle taxidrivers in their daily routine, in short an attempt to understand the subjective content developed along their personal lives and the objective content derived from their material, social, and historical context. Its theoretical foundation rests mainly on Labor Psychodynamics found in writers such as Dejours (1986, 1992, 1993, 1999), as well as Pelegrino (1987), and Gaulejac (2001). The data were collected by means of semidirected interviews held with the motorcycle taxidrivers of Assis-SP. The results seem to confirm that such workers show signs of pathogenic suffering due to the fact that their relation to their work is not propitious to sustain mental health. A vicious circle is kept: financial problems, lack of identification with their work, lack of competent public agency support, lack of social recognition, and a dangerous labor condition. As a consequence, such workers have to resort to some defense strategies to deal with their daily difficulties. They view such an occupation as the only means available to provide subsistence to them and to their families. / Mestre

Orientador: Célia Aparecida Ferreira Tolentino / Banca: Geraldo Romanelli / Banca: Luiz antônio Francisco de Souza / Resumo: A presente dissertação intitulada "Entre os discursos, as representações e as práticas: crianças e jovens empregadas domésticas na cidade de Marília", é resultado de uma pesquisa que teve a finalidade de analisar as representações de infâncias, juventudes, relações de gênero, trabalho e emprego doméstico das próprias crianças e jovens. Embora o nosso estudo tenha como foco a visão de mundo das crianças e dos jovens empregados domésticos, também trazemos as falas dos seus pais/responsáveis e empregadores. Para tanto, realizamos pesquisas bibliográficas sobre infância, juventude, relações de gênero e trabalho doméstico; investigação empírica, a partir da aplicação de questionários fechados e entrevistas semiestruturadas com uma criança e nove jovens (adolescentes), duas mães, uma tia, um pai e duas patroas, todos moradores da cidade de Marília, Estado de São Paulo; pesquisa de macro dados do IBGE (PNAD, 2006) e da legislação sobre o emprego doméstico. Os dados obtidos indicam que parte das participantes da nossa pesquisa teve uma infância plena de brincadeiras, embora nem sempre protegida e tranqüila; outra parcela ressaltou uma infância de trabalho, que eles próprios caracterizaram como não-infância. Sobre os conceitos de juventude, a maioria das jovens empregadas domésticas, através de um discurso de distinção grupal, enalteceu a sua própria atuação e utilizou um tom crítico e moralista para os demais pares. O trabalho doméstico é considerado tanto como uma obrigação a ser desempenhada pelas mulheres de qualquer idade quanto um mecanismo para assumir responsabilidades, controlar, disciplinar, treinar e afastar da ociosidade as crianças e os jovens de ambos os sexos. Estes e os seus responsáveis/pais reconhecem as más condições de trabalho no labor doméstico... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Between Discourses, Representations, and Practices: Children and Youth as Housemaids in Marilia City" is a research that aim to analyze children and youth's representations of childhood, youth, gender relationships, labor and domestic work. Besides focusing on domestic children and youth's "weltanschauung", we also interviewed their parents and guardians, and their employers. We worked on books and articles related to childhood, youth, gender relationships and domestic work. We applied questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with one child and nine youth, two mothers, one aunt, one father and two female bosses, all of them dwellers of Marilia City, São Paulo State. We also collected IBGE data (PNAD, 2006), and study domestic service legislation. According to our information, some of our subjects had a childhood with toys and games, although not always protected and peaceful. Others had a working childhood, which they called a non-childhood. Regarding the concept of youth, most of our interviewees dignified themselves, and criticized their peers' behavior. We concluded that domestic work is women's obligation and a means for children and youth of both sex to assume responsibilities, to learn some skills, and to prevent them from idleness. Children, youth, and their parents or guardians pointed out to bad domestic work conditions, and at the same time see this kind of labor as an improvement of their life situation, and an answer to their needs. We suggest that, through public policy toward family, the lives of children and youth could improve. / Mestre

Com a sua expansão a diversos setores da sociedade, surgiram empresas, serviços e produtos especificamente voltados aos segmentos ligados às tecnologias da informação, resultando no desenvolvimento de novos processos de trabalho e um mercado consumidor tanto de bens materiais como de bens simbólicos (ditos imateriais). Contudo, o que caracterizou essencialmente a apropriação capitalista do ciberespaço, foi o surgimento de empresas que ao invés de produzir bens materiais utilizando a Internet apenas como um instrumento publicitário ou comunicativo, funcionam exclusivamente através na rede, tendo a informação (sua produção e distribuição) como um produto. Discutiremos aqui sobre algumas particularidades da acumulação capitalista no âmbito da Internet comercial, notadamente sobre o processo de transformação em mercadoria do substrato da subjetividade coletiva colocada na interatividade de rede. / Abstract: This research has for objective to investigate the new forms of accumulation of capital that had been constituted parallel bars to the sprouting, development and popularization of the Internet. With its expansion the diverse sectors of the society, emerged companies, products and services specifically directed to the segments related to information technology, resulting in the development of new work processes and a consumer market both for goods and materials of symbolic goods (said immaterial). However, what mainly characterized the capitalist appropriation of cyberspace, was the emergence of companies that produce goods rather than materials using the Internet only as an advertising tool or communicative, operate exclusively through the network, the information (its production and distribution) as a product. Trata-se de uma nova parcela de "colaboradores" situados entre 15 e 35 anos de idade, cujo modo de vida "just-in-time" próprio desse segmento metalúrgico - os filhos da reestruturação produtiva -, relaciona-se às estratégias de captura da subjetividade operária por meio de novas formas de gestão/coerção de pessoal, e que, espraiando-se para além do universo fabril, revela a nova forma de ser do novo metabolismo produtivo-social do capital na época do trabalho flexível / Abstract: Current research analyzes the car-building industry in the greater São Paulo region as from 1992 when a deep modification process in its productive structure occurred. The above-mentioned process caused the emergence of a labor segment, or rather, the flexible young man / adult, featuring a new historical, social and professional profile. Actually it is a new set of 'collaborators' within the 15-35-year-old bracket, whose just-in-time life style, proper of the metalworking section hailing from production restructuring, is related to the bonding strategies of worker subjectivity.
