Tal município tem grande destaque econômico no contexto regional devido ao setor metalúrgico e à produção do vestuário. Vale ressaltar que neste lócus o ramo confeccionista emprega em maior proporção o segmento feminino da população em detrimento de uma maior incorporação masculina na metalurgia. Com base nessa realidade, este percurso investigativo priorizou o universo da confecção com vistas a compreender as experiências e o cotidiano das mulheres que atuam como costureiras tanto no espaço fabril quanto no trabalho domiciliar, em um quadro de precarização das relações de trabalho, o que contribuiu para o agravamento da questão social. Para a compreensão dessa dinâmica societária, foi necessária uma análise sobre as assimetrias presentes nas relações de gênero e as profundas alterações ocorridas nos últimos decênios no mundo do trabalho frente à adoção da reestruturação produtiva, que trouxe implicações para as condições de vida dos trabalhadores. Nesse quadro, cabe mencionar que as mulheres ingressaram de forma massiva no mundo do trabalho, no momento em que se verifica o desmonte dos direitos trabalhistas, crescimento do desemprego, degradação das condições de trabalho e intensificação de atividades marcadas pela informalidade, diante das prerrogativas da acumulação flexível. Tal situação que ordena o mundo do trabalho na sociedade atual, caracterizada pela reestruturação produtiva, também passou a ser implementada no município de Divinópolis, em especial na indústria da confecção, universo desta pesquisa... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present study brought to the agenda of discussion of the Social Work some reflections on living conditions, work, and the survival strategies of working clothing in the city of Divinópolis, located in the central west of Minas Gerais. This city has great economic prominence in the regional context due to the metallurgical sector and the production of clothing. It is noteworthy that in this locus, the clothing branch employs a greater proportion of the female segment of the population at the expense of a greater incorporation male in metallurgy. Given this reality, this researching prioritized the world of the confection in order to understand the experiences and daily life of women who work as seamstresses as both work in the factory space and at home in a context of precarious employment relationships, which contributed to the aggravation of social problems. For a better comprehension of this societal dynamics, it was required an analysis of the present asymmetries in gender relations and the profound changes in recent decades in the working world before the adoption of the restructuring process, which has implications for the living conditions of workers. In this context, it is worth mentioning that women entered massively in the workplace, at a time that it saw the dismantling of labor rights, increased unemployment, deterioration of working conditions and intensification of activities marked by informality, given the prerogatives of flexible accumulation. This situation ordering the world of work in modern society characterized by productive restructuring also became to be implemented in the city of Divinópolis, particularly in the clothing industry, the locus of this research. As a competitive strategy, manufacturing industries have joined the precepts of the capital and intensified forms of outsourced work, which reflected significantly in the lives of workers in this area... A tese defendida é que o Estado como responsável pela garantia da saúde dos cidadãos brasileiros, conforme preconizado na Constituição de 1988 e reiterado pela Lei Orgânica da Saúde (LOS) como direito constituído, em decorrência de uma orientação econômica neoliberal que foi implantada no país a partir de 1990, tem se afastado da efetivação da política pública da saúde e transferido para a sociedade e para as famílias responsabilidades nos cuidados nesta área. Esta pesquisa foi realizada no Assentamento 17 de Abril localizado na fazenda Boa Sorte, no município de Restinga-São Paulo (SP). Os sujeitos foram as mulheres assentadas, protagonistas de uma história de luta na busca pela terra e condições de vida dignas. A opção de se investigar as mulheres inseridas no contexto de assentamento foi no sentido de tentar compreender se, esta sobrecarga de trabalho historicamente atribuídas às mulheres tinha ressonância nas mulheres moradoras em área rural, e que tiveram uma trajetória de embates na luta pela terra. As entrevistas foram realizadas com seis mulheres, selecionadas de forma intencional com os critérios de elegibilidade conforme descrito na metodologia deste trabalho. A pesquisa estendeu-se a uma auxiliar de enfermagem que desenvolve suas funções no equipamento de saúde denominado de Programa de Saúde da Família (PSF) na busca de maior compreensão da estruturação deste serviço no respectivo assentamento. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo que busca conhecer o cotidiano vivenciado pelas mulheres inseridas na área rural e usuárias da política pública de saúde / This study aims the women overloading work analysis in what concerns to the care of her and her family’s health. The defined thesis is that the State as responsible for the health guarantee of the Brazilian citizens, as extolled in the Constitution of 1988 and reiterated by the Organic Law of Health (OLH) as a constituted right, in occurrence of a neoliberal economic orientation that was introduced in the country since 1990, has moved itself away from the efficient public health politics and transferred to the society and to the families responsibilities in the care o the area. This research was done in the Assentamento 17 de Abril localized in the Boa Sorte farm, in the city of Restinga – São Paulo (SP). The subjects were the fixed women, protagonists of a fight history in the search of the earth and deserving conditions of life. The research extended itself to a nurse auxiliary that develops her functions in the health equipment denominated Programa de Saúde da Família (PSF) in the search of a bigger comprehension of this service structure in the respective registration. It is a quantitative research that aims to know the quotidian lived by the women inserted in the rural area and users of the public health politics. It was used open interviews with oriented questions. It was opted the content analysis, moment in which were elected the categories that could favor the comprehension of this reality

Para tanto privilegiou a análise comparativa das qualificações requeridas em diferentes formas de inserção da mulher no trabalho - trabalho em tempo parcial e em tempo integral - em um segmento do setor de serviços da economia, denominado "serviços produtivos". Trata-se especificamente do sistema financeiro, em São Paulo, considerado maior mercado financeiro da América Latina. Neste contexto os dados foram coletados em um banco estatal de grande porte. A expansão do setor terciário da economia bem como a feminização do trabalho nesse setor, significam características presentes no processo de reestruturação capitalista em curso; por esta razão, são percebidas como sendo relevantes perspectivas de análise que contribuem para a melhor compreensão destas mudanças / Abstract: The underlying aim of this work has been to achieve a concrete understanding of the integration of gender relations with the spread of computerization and changes in the organization of work, and the ways in which these factors are expressed in and act on the complex network of social relationships involved in both the technical and sexual division of labour. Emphasis is laid on comparative analysis of the qualifications required for the different ways in which women do their jobs - that is, fill time or part time - in one segment of the service sector of the economy, that of "productive services". The specific area is that of the financial system in the city of São Paulo, considered to be Latin America's largest financial market. Within this context, the data have been collected in a large State bank. Expansion of the tertiary sector of the economy and feminization of work in this sector are meaningful characteristics in the ongoing capitalist restructuring of the economy; for this reason, they are regarded as relevant perspectives of analysis which have a contribution to make to better understanding of change / Tese (livre-docencia) - Univer / Livre-Docente em Educação

For consistent analysis, we chose to use qualitative methodology, recommended for studies in which the phenomena are related to human beings and their relationships in society. The research was divided into two stages: a review of the literature related to female identity, beauty and consumer behavior and in-depth interviews with six young executive women working in the city of São Paulo. During the interviews, the main focuses were the meaning of beauty, its role in the Brazilian labor market and cnsumption habits of beauty. In the final step, we performed a quantitative pre-testing with some recruiters, also from São Paulo, who pointed out some trends. The theoretical basis, joint with the findings of the interviews, provided the development of research propositions and identified variables for the development of a model. From the study it was found in practice that: I. Beauty is valued in the Brazilian labor market, influencing the perception of competence; II. There is the stereotype of the successful executive in the country, combining both physical and behavioral characteristics, III. Gender stereotypes are part of the young executive life, making the female identity multiple and generating overload, IV. Lack of female role models, due to the lack of women in executive positions and also the high expectations, V. And finally, the consumption of beauty is emphasized, as for desire satisfaction or self-image construction, generating a market segment that consumes a lot, and influence other to consume. / Este trabalho aborda dois temas de interesse e destaque na vida da mulher moderna: beleza e carreira. Para uma análise consistente, optou-se pela utilização da metodologia qualitativa, adequada em estudos nos quais os fenômenos estudados têm envolvimento com seres humanos e suas relações na sociedade. A pesquisa foi dividida em duas etapas: revisão da literatura referente à identidade feminina, beleza e comportamento de consumo e entrevistas em profundidade com seis jovens executivas, que trabalham na cidade de São Paulo. Durante os depoimentos, explorou-se o significado da beleza, seu papel no mercado de trabalho brasileiro e os hábitos de consumo de beleza. Na etapa final, foi realizado um pré-teste quantitativo com alguns recrutadores, também da cidade de São Paulo, que apontou algumas tendências. A fundamentação teórica, aliada aos resultados da análise de conteúdo das entrevistas, propiciou o desenvolvimento de proposições de pesquisa e a identificação de variáveis para a elaboração de um modelo. A partir do estudo, constatou-se, na prática, que: i. A beleza é valorizada no mercado de trabalho brasileiro, chegando a influenciar a percepção de competência da profissional; ii. Existe o estereótipo da executiva bem sucedida no país, contemplando características tanto físicas quanto comportamentais; iii. Os estereótipos de gênero fazem parte da vida profissional e pessoal das jovens executivas, tornando a identidade feminina múltipla e gerando sobrecarga; iv. Faltam mulheres-modelo que as jovens executivas admirem, seja devido à falta de mulheres em posições de destaque profissional ou à busca do sucesso em todos os papéis desempenhados; v. E finalmente, o consumo de beleza ganha destaque, como satisfação de desejo e construção da auto-imagem, gerando um segmento de mercado que consome bastante, além de influenciar outros segmentos consumidores.
