The Key Factors Study of R&D Development on Semiconductor Back End Automation Equipment Agent ¡V A Case Study on H Company

Over the past decades, the development of Taiwan semiconductor industry has been based on the list of scientific and technological power. Early in this process, the required technologies, machines and equipments, most of them rely on the introduction of domestic agents. However, with changes in the industry, market size has become larger, many new agents set up new company to compete authorities of new products agency. Case company is also a trend to follow the ensuing wave of growth, and introduce many IC packaging and testing equipments to many customers throughout all of Taiwan's packaging and testing companies. On IC inspection and handler machines, case company win more than ninety percent market share. With the entire package and testing market maturity, as well as many competitors to join, resulting in agential commission income decreased. At the national policy, the government started to encourage domestic manufacturers to develop and produce equipment to enhance industrial competitiveness. In order to meet the market demand, case company used the original equipment to be modified and carried out the development of new machine. The entire project lasted for two years, although the final outcome did not succeed, but the course of events revealed some clues. It is worth follow-up reference. In this study, a tool for organizational learning - learning history is used for the entire research and analysis. The results of this study found many key factors of R&D development on semiconductor back end automation equipment agent. 1. Agents to develop R&D are among the first to face two different types of business. 2. Agents that attach more importance to short-term interests. 3. The main work culture of agents- business-oriented. 4. The active involvement of executives. 5. The work style of agents is partial bottom-up and form small groups. 6. The rule of man's management style. 7. Emphasis on avoiding conflict and cultural harmony. These key factors are usually associated with the company's culture and management model. In order to develop R&D, agents need to clarify these fundamental issues and a consensus. Looking forward to the results of this study can be helpful for agents of Taiwan semiconductor back end automation equipment.

A Study on Introducing New Collaborating-Commerce Model Combined with Information Systems Platform ¢w Using GMTC as Example

In respond to the trend of globalization and IT applications, the pressure by big international companies on cost reduction to OEM companies required a 3%-5% goal every year. What OEM companies need is to keep on with the goal fulfillment and to work on some innovation programs with their business model. They change business model from OEM to ODM to make them survive through challenges and gain profit margin. OEM companies in Taiwan are mostly smaller in many ways in contrast to foreign companies, although they are good at precision manufacturing as their core and manufacture high quality products. It is suitable for those companies to adopt a strategic alliance to integrate their competences to create synergies. This can build up a solid supply chain collaboration platform and new business model with a vantage position and competitive advantages. GMTC, the case company, applied for industrial technology development projects sponsored by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) as strategies to introduce their new collaborating-commerce business model around year 2002 to 2006. They invoked their strategies to integrate the supply chains for expansion through startup a new business model for partners to understand, communicate and improve the value chain to link to the global companies. The performances cause high impacts on collaborative effectiveness among value chain partners. This thesis, based on a case study of GMTC, is to analyze and find the key factors make strategies success and to demonstrate how. Organizational learning - learning history is used in this study to analyze and research the strategies in order to find out what GMTC have done in the past. Implications for planning and moving a new business model or strategy on supply chain are discussed and future research suggestions are provided.

Since 1939, Taiwan industry has started from the components processing to research and development of all kind of equipment. From purely labor work stepped into design of sophisticated equipment. But, still, we were late from the beginning, it makes us far behind to European country, the United States and Japan. Besides that, the domestic market is too small to afford us some heavy industrial world-class brands. As to Taiwan's industrial development, our Government played a very crucial role. We can learn the fruitful results of government¡¦s efforts in Technology development and key industries supporting. Nevertheless, it pays few attentions to the specialized Electro-hydraulic system market, such as to defense industrial application and heavy industrial application, which is relatively small. The reality is, though it is small market, it contributes big to national power. This industry been forgotten, its segmentation differs greatly from the popular industry, its product is most differentiation. The industry itself, varies always , it supposes to be a ¡§Blue Sea¡¨, yet it competes horribly as bloody ¡§Red Sea¡¨. Being in this area for 15 years, S company has to re-check their position, fore-see the obstacles in front to be well-prepared for the future. This study follow the essence of Evidence-based Management, use the theory and practice of learning history and action research, to conduct interviews, summarized and analyzed. Interviews did not follow the planning at the design, and some amendment had been made to the research arrangement. But, contribute organization to discuss which did not want to discuss, dared not discuss and cannot subject for discussion. Have them try to face which factors supposed uncontrollable, cannot control the, and find executable solutions. Those stakeholders, potential competitors and customers, we expect this study can remind them to have Evidence-based Management attitude, find out the truths, wiped off the rooted myth. This study found the key successful factors of specialized Electro-hydraulic system classified to internal and external one. To organization, internal factors can be controlled, and treated by mid- and/or short-term means, external factors can¡¦t be controlled, can only treated by long-term means. This study submits three major proposition to the individual role for reference. Proposition 1, The more customized production enterprises, the more conflict between standardization and differentiation, or so-called flexibility, need to compromise. Proposition 2: Find out why make competition less, is the main reason for it, your limit or your advantage. With the development of media technology and game evolution, games are endowed with multiple purposes and functions. Some scholars believe that the game is the supplement of the real world, which can affect the players' psychology and behaviour. Numerous studies show that games can make players accept challenges, overcome obstacles, arouse positive emotions and solve problems. Therefore, academia's research on games and related topics in learning has become increasingly popular. In response, different models have emerged to evaluate the design of active educational games.This research discusses how different game mechanisms affect players. Also, this study used a prototype game as output media to examine the impact of various game mechanisms on learning. The purpose of this study is to explore how to choose a more suitable game mechanism in the design of educational games. The research results include that some game mechanisms promote learning motivation and improve learning outcomes. At the same time, some game mechanisms have the risk of reducing learning motivation. Through these findings, the researcher of this study believes that educational games can bring positive influence and help to players' learning. However, how to choose a suitable game mechanism in the design of educational games is worthy of serious consideration for making design decisions.

The main purpose is to study the meaning that teachers give the Holocaust as a field of knowledge; the subsequent nature of their teaching; and how it is understood by the students. In connection to this, the purpose is also to discuss the potential of developing a historical consciousness among the students as well as the possibility of bringing insights into the importance of fundamental democratic values. The intentions described by the teachers when teaching the Holocaust as a field of knowledge vary relatively much. Five main themes are found that show these variations. These are: “Never again!”; “Not only the Holocaust!”;“Think critically!”; “Understand the psychology of man!” and “Realize the value of democracy!” Common to the first two themes is the teachers' intention to inform students about crimes against humanity during the Nazi rule and/or under communist regimes. These teachers are mainly using tools that illustrate the horrific aspects of the crimes, focusing on the victims and the perpetrators. The three following themes differ from the first two as they focus the teaching on the steps to Auschwitz, instead of on the Holocaust itself. The intention here is to create an understanding of factors that can contribute to an explanation of what made the Holocaust possible. The concept of a historical consciousness is not expressively used or explained in the teaching, although it is obvious that some of the teachers expect their students to think in the dimensions of the past, the present and the future, as well as understand the relation between these dimensions.

Para além das questões que norteiam a educação escolar de um modo geral, a modalidade EJA apresenta especificidades, como a origem e condição social e escolar do discente. A SEEDUC/RJ implantou, na Rede Estadual de Ensino, no ano de 2013, o Projeto NEJA que tem como objetivos a relevância de avaliação, currículo e material didático adequado às condições particulares dos alunos da EJA. A idealização e a produção de material didático de essência complementar inserem-se nesse contexto da NEJA e têm como finalidades atender a melhor qualificação acadêmica e a formação cidadã dos alunos da NEJA, Módulo III. / [en] Youth and Adult Education is a modality of Basic Education, as provided for in LDB 93949/96 and in Opinion 11/2000 / DCNs. In addition to the issues that guide school education in general, the EJA modality presents specificities, such as the origin and social and scholastic condition of the student. O presente estudo tem como objetivo promover situações de aprendizagem de História em 5a. série do Ensino Fundamental. Investiga a dificuldade de compreensão dos conteúdos de História constatados pela pesquisadora em sua experiência docente e confirmados pela bibliografia consultada. As dificuldades apontadas referem-se principalmente ao estabelecimento de relações e à construção de conceitos. A metodologia adotada é a pesquisaação, em que o pesquisador tem como papel promover as situações que pretende investigar de dentro do caso. É utilizada como estratégia o estudo de caso. Os dados foram colhidos através de relatórios realizados pela professora-pesquisadora e por uma observadora externa, em sala de aula e no pequeno grupo, tomado como uma unidade incorporada, e através de trabalhos escritos pelos alunos. Parte-se do princípio que o entendimento dos conteúdos de História está estruturado sobre as noções espaço-temporais construídas pela criança, desde o nascimento. Tem-se por hipótese que a tomada de consciência das relações espaço-temporais é um caminho para uma melhor compreensão da História. Adota-se como referencial teórico a Epistemologia Genética e a teoria da Tomada de Consciência de Jean Piaget, tanto para a elaboração das situações de aprendizagem, quanto para explicar a construção das noções temporais e analisar os dados. Os resultados apontam para um entendimento de História possibilitado por uma conjugação de fatores, referentes à fase de desenvolvimento do pensamento em que a criança se encontra, às suas atuais construções temporais e sociais bem como às suas construções anteriores, viabilizadas pelas interações cognitivas e sociais. The subjects were children between 10 and 17 years old, of a public school. It is an action-research that uses a case study format. The searcher was also the teacher who promotes the situations to be investigated. It came from the report related by the searcher and an external observer. The hypotesis was that the grasp of conscience of the spatial and temporal relations permits to the children to improve the understanding of History, whereas the construction of time is the basis in wich the historical time is supported. The theoretical framework of this study came from Genetic Epistemology and the Grasp of Conscience of Jean Piaget. The study findings indicates that the understanding of History came from a conjunction of factors, like the different levels of development about the notions of time and social constructions, besides the general evolution of thought. In this search, the grasp of conscience revels success in aid children to have a better understanding of History.
