Ferreira / Resumo: João Carlos Marinho (1935-) é um dos grandes nomes da literatura infantil e juvenil brasileira, ainda em atividade. Embora sua produção literária seja legitimada por vários estudiosos da área, não há um estudo panorâmico de suas obras voltadas para o público infantil. Busca-se com este trabalho, assim, realizar um estudo introdutório da produção infantojuvenil do escritor com destaque para a série criada por Marinho, com a Turma do Gordo, que compreende doze narrativas: O gênio do crime (1969), O caneco de prata (1971), Sangue fresco (1982), O livro da Berenice (1984), Berenice detetive (1987), Berenice contra o maníaco janeloso (1990), Cascata de cuspe (1992), O conde Futreson (1994), O Disco (1996), A catástrofe do Planeta Ebulidor (1998), O gordo contra os pedófilos (2001) e Assassinato na literatura infantil (2005). É objetivo do trabalho também fazer um resgate da fortuna crítica sobre a obra do escritor, bem como compilar entrevistas dadas por Marinho em diversas mídias. Foram cotejadas as várias edições lançadas pelo autor a fim de identificar as mudanças ocorridas nos projetos gráfico-editoriais de cada livro e também alterações no conteúdo do enredo. Para compreender a produção de Marinho no cenário literário brasileiro, especificadamente, o infantojuvenil, enquanto processo de renovação do texto para crianças e jovens foram utilizados estudos de Regina Zilberman, Marisa Lajolo, Nelly Novaes Coelho, Edmir Perrotti, dentre outros pesquisadores da área. Foi possível perceber que Marinho, em sua obra, soube valorizar o contexto histórico em que se insere a ação narrativa, revelando sua percepção da realidade social, mas sem deixar em segundo plano a especificidade da literatura, enfatizando o caráter estético da obra literária / Abstract: João Carlos Marinho (1935-) is one of the greats of children's literature in Brazil, still in activity. Although his writing is legitimized by various scholars in the field, there is no overview study of his works aimed at children. Searching with this work, so make an introductory study of the production infantile-juvenile writer highlighting the series created by Marinho, the Fat‟s Gang, which includes twelve narratives: O gênio do crime (1969 ), O caneco de prata (1971), Sangue fresco (1982 ), O livro da Berenice (1984 ), Berenice detetive (1987), Berenice contra o maníaco janeloso (1990), Cascata de cuspe (1992), Conde Futreson (1994), O Disco ( 1996), A catástrofe do Planeta Ebulidor (1998), O gordo contra os pedófilos (2001) and Assassinato na literatura infantil (2005). Objective of the work is also making a rescue of critical fortune of the author's work, as well as compiling interviews given by Marinho in various mediums. Were collated the various editions released by the author in order to identify the changes in graph - editorial projects of each book and also changes in the content of the plot . To understand the production of the literary scene brazilian of Marinho, specifically the infantile-juvenile while renewal process text for children and youth were used studies of Regina Zilberman, Marisa Lajolo, Nelly Novaes Coelho, Edmir Perrotti, among other researchers. Por ser um autor ainda pouco estudado no que concerne ao conjunto de sua obra, há, no primeiro capítulo, uma abordagem panorâmica que busca situá-la histórica e esteticamente, com fundamentação em Antonio Candido, Silviano Santiago, Tânia Pellegrini, Walnice Galvão, Flávio Carneiro e Beatriz Resende. No segundo capítulo, para o levantamento e discussão de sua fortuna crítica, a produção a esse respeito foi levantada a partir da década de 1980, tanto a disponibilizada em gêneros acadêmicos - teses, dissertações e artigos em revistas - quanto em livros. No ensejo das leituras sobre textos que tratam da obra jorgiana há uma breve reflexão sobre o específico juvenil com ênfase na presença da intertextualidade e da metalinguagem e o tipo de relação dos textos de Marinho com o segmento. The objective is to understand the singularities of Marinho's aesthetic project, who has a regular production since the 1980s, remains writing, and has been highly awarded in the young-adult segment. In the first chapter, as the author is not widely studied, there is a panoramic approach that seeks to situate his work historically and aesthetically according to Antonio Candido, Silviano Santiago, Tânia Pellegrini, Walnice Galvão, Flávio Carneiro, and Beatriz Resende. In the second chapter, for the survey and discussion of Marinho's critical fortune, the production in this respect was raised from the 1980s on, both in academic genres - theses, dissertations, and articles in magazines - and in books. Considering these readings of this author's work, there is also a brief reflection about the specificity of the young-adult novels with an emphasis on the presence of intertextuality and metalanguage, and the type of relationship of his texts with this segment. To that end, the ideas of more experienced researchers like Marisa Lajolo, Regina Zilberman, Edmir Perrotti, João Ceccantini, and Alice Aurea Penteado Martha appear intertwined with considerations of Gabriela F.C. Luft, Larissa W.F. Cruvinel, Raquel C. de S. e Souza and other scholars which have joined the area more recently. We divided this research in three chapters: the first chapter begins with the introduction of Monteiro Lobato and his contribution with the brazilian and argentinean children and youth literature; it also presents the corpus of this work, Fear (2012) and discusses about the main theme contained in the study object: the folklore. Besides, analyze the works involved in this dissertation, O Saci (1921 and 1947) and El Genio del Bosque (1945) and clarify their relations with thecorpus work. The second chapter, presents the translationof the O Medowork to argentinean Spanish.Finally, the third chapter presents our translational proposal commented, based on studies of Antoine Berman and our contribution and proposal for an illustrative paratext.

Considered a landmark in Brazilian Children's Literature since its launch in 1969, its British version was translated by Silvia Caruana and published by the publishing house Roger Schlesinger in 1973 and its American English version was translated by Daniela Pinto, originally published by Melbooks in 1984 - subsequently also published by Editora Melhoramentos and commercialized in Brazil. The theoretical framework informing the study is based on the interface of Descriptive Translation Studies, Translation of Children's Literature and the Grammar of Visual Design. By the analyses of a multimodal corpus and a dossier about the history of this printed book, it was possible to note that the several changes along FLICTS publishing history have made up other possible readings on this work.

No contexto desta investigação, os títulos escolhidos são agrupados em três grandes categorias narrativas (narrativas de aventura, narrativas sociais e narrativas psicológicas), segundo os moldes propostos por Ceccantini (2000). Com o objetivo de alcançar uma compreensão geral do universo ficcional criado por Nicolelis, o trabalho acompanha a jornada dos heróis nicolelianos, realizando uma análise sistemática dos elementos temáticos e formais das narrativas que compõem o corpus, bem como discute questões relativas à produção, circulação e consumo da literatura juvenil dessa escritora, sob o amparo teórico de Pierre Bourdieu (2007) acerca do mercado de bens simbólicos. Essa análise evidenciou que as narrativas da escritora são representativas de certa linhagem da literatura juvenil brasileira de cunho realista/verista (Zilberman, 2003), em que os heróis (e, por extensão, seus leitores) são lançados na jornada contemporânea das mazelas sociais oriundas do subdesenvolvimento da sociedade brasileira - na sua vertente urbana, capitalista e industrializada -, estando sempre afastados das posições de poder. Na tentativa de resolver problemas sociais indissolúveis, guiados por um narrador de visão adultocêntrica, os heróis são inseridos ... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Developed in the research area of contemporary Brazilian young adult literature, this dissertation has as its object of study 42 narratives written by Giselda Laporta Nicolelis (1938), which circulate under this rubric. In the context of this investigation, the chosen titles are grouped into three major narrative categories (adventure narratives, social narratives, and psychological narratives), according to the models proposed by Ceccantini (2000). In order to reach a general understanding of the fictional universe created by Nicolelis, this dissertation follows the journey of her heroes through a systematic analysis of both thematic and formal elements of the narratives that compose the corpus, as well it discusses issues related to the production, circulation and consumption of the author's young adult literature, theoretically grounded in Pierre Bourdieu's (2007) work about the market of symbolic goods. This analysis evidenced that the author's narratives are representative of a certain lineage of Brazilian realist/veristic literature (Zilberman, 2003), in which heroes (and, by extension, their readers) are launched in a contemporary journey of the social illness derived from the underdevelopment of Brazilian society - in its urban, capitalist, and industrialized dimension -, always away from the positions of power. In the illusory and quixotic attempt to solve indissoluble social problems, guided by a narrator which has an adultcentric point-of-view, the heroes are inserted in the context of dichotomies that pervade both children's and young adult's literature since its origins. Orientador: João Luís Cardoso Tápias Ceccantini / Banca: Larissa Warzocha Fernandes Cruvinel / Banca: Alice Áurea Penteado Martha / Resumo: Esta dissertação procurou realizar um estudo da literatura juvenil premiada de Caio Riter (1962-), o autor se destaca no cenário nacional tendo recebido vários prêmios na última década, entre eles o Prêmio FNLIJ, concedido pela Fundação Nacional do Livro Infantil e Juvenil, o Prêmio Açorianos de Literatura, concedido pela Secretaria Municipal da Cultura da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre, e o Prêmio AGES, concedido pela Associação Gaúcha de Escritores. Várias de suas obras receberam o selo Altamente Recomendável, concedido pela Fundação Nacional do Livro Infantil e Juvenil (FNLIJ), e têm reconhecimento internacional, sendo anexadas a importantes catálogos, como o catálogo de Bolonha, na Itália, e o White Ravens, na Alemanha. Constatou-se, durante o levantamento bibliográfico para esta dissertação que não há no meio acadêmico pesquisa que se proponha fazer um estudo introdutório da obra do autor e que mesmo a crítica de suas obras se encontra fragmentada em capítulos de livros, de teses e de dissertações, bem como em artigos de periódicos e anais, cabendo, portanto, a este projeto de pesquisa reunir tal fortuna crítica. Deste modo, este trabalho é composto pelo levantamento da produção literária do autor e dos discursos críticos sobre elas publicados no meio acadêmico, em seguida submeteu-se à análise, a partir da grade elaborada pelo pesquisador João Luís C. T. Ceccantini em sua tese de doutorado (2000), dez narrativas premiadas e/ou selecionadas para compor o acervo do PNBE... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This dissertation sought to carry out a study of Caio Riter's award-winning juvenile literature (1962-), the author stands out in the national scene and has received several prizes in the last decade, among them the FNLIJ Prize, granted by the National Foundation for Children and Youth Book, the Açorianos Prize for Literature, granted by the Municipal Department of Culture of Porto Alegre, and the AGES Award, granted by the Associação Gaúcha de Escritores. Several of his works have received the Highly Recommended seal, granted by the National Foundation for Children and Youth Book (FNLIJ), and are internationally recognized and are attached to important catalogs such as the Bologna catalog in Italy and White Ravens in Germany. It was found during the bibliographical survey for the study that there is no research in the academic world that proposes to make an introductory study of the author's work and even the criticism of his works is fragmented into chapters of books, theses and dissertations, as well as articles in periodicals and annals, and it is therefore up to this research project to gather such critical fortune. Neste processo de apropriação e adaptação da personagem estrangeira, temos, num primeiro momento, a adaptação lobatiana (Peter Pan, 1930) em que a história de Peter Pan é contada por Dona Benta a seus netos. A personagem de James Banie aparece depois em outras histórias de Lobato, entre as quais se destacam Memórias da Emilia (1936) - obra na qual Peter Pan surge no Sítio como um visitante ¿ e o Pica pau Amarelo (1939) - obra em que Peter Pan resolve mudar-se para o Sítio, juntamente com outras personagens estrangeiras. Discutimos, assim, a presença de uma personagem da literatura infantil inglesa dentro da obra infantil de Monteiro Lobato, observando a maneira como o escritor trabalha com esta personagem em seus textos. Estabelecemos também um paralelo entre o trabalho feito por Lobato com esta obra específica e os planos do escritor para a criação de uma literatura infantil brasileira / Abstract:"This thesis is a study of the presence of Peter Pan, by James Barrie, in the texts for children by Monteiro Lobato. The process of appropriation and adaptation by Monteiro Lobato of James B arrie s' character consists, first, of an adaptation (Peter Pan, 1930), in which Dona Benta tells the story of the foreign character to her grandchildren. Second, there are other stories by Lobato in which James Barrie's character takes parto Examples are Memorias de Emilia (1936)and O Picapau Amarelo (1939). In the former, Peter Pan is a guest at Sitio do Picapau Amarelo, and in the latter, he decides to move to Sitio together with the other foreign characters. The thesis discusses the presence of a character that belongs to British literature in Lobato's work. The goal of this discussion is to show how the author operates the insertion of this character in his texts. Além disso, é realizada uma reflexão introdutória sobre as principais tendências observadas no conjunto dessa produção crítica. Motivou a realização do trabalho o fato de a autora destacar-se significativamente em meio aos escritores que compõem a "geração de 70" da literatura infanto-juvenil brasileira, num momento em que esta passa por profundas transformações, incorporando-se definitivamente à indústria cultural e contando com o mecenatismo do Estado, comprador e distribuidor de grandes tiragens de obras infantojuvenis para escolas e bibliotecas de todo o Brasil. Num primeiro momento da dissertação, é apresentada uma rápida visão geral dos caminhos trilhados pelo gênero infanto-juvenil, enfatizando a questão do utilitarismo e do mercado. Em seguida, são organizados dados sobre a vida da autora, coletados em diversas fontes (entre elas, muitas entrevistas), no intuito de constituir um apanhado biográfico geral sobre Ruth Rocha. No capítulo subseqüente, procurase levantar "o estado da questão" referente à produção crítica sobre a obra da escritora, com base em dados extraídos da crítica profissional e da imprensa não especializada. Finalmente, é feito um amplo levantamento dos títulos literários publicados pela escritora. / Abstract: The present work has for central objective the systematic rising of the works written by writer Ruth Rocha (1931), as well as of the critical production produced on your work (in books, theses, dissertations, scientific goods, popularization goods published in newspapers and magazines). besides, an introductory reflection is accomplished on the main tendencies observed in the group of that critical production. It motivated the accomplishment of the work the author's fact he/she to stand out significantly amid the writers that compose the generation of 70 " of the Brazilian infantile-juvenile literature, in one moment in that this raisin for deep transformations, incorporating definitively to the cultural industry and counting with the sponsor of the State, buyer and distributor of great circulations of infantile-juvenile works for schools and libraries of the whole Brazil. In a first moment of the dissertation, a fast general vision of the roads is presented thrashed by the infantile-juvenile gender, emphasizing the subject of the utilitarian and of the market. Soon after, they are organized data about the author's life, collected in several sources (among them, many interviews), in the intention of constituting has been hit biographical general on Ruth Rocha. In the subsequent chapter, he/she tries to get up " the state of the subject " regarding the critical production on the writer's work, with base in extracted data of the professional critic and of the press non specialized. Ferreira / Resumo: Embora Marina Colasanti (1937) seja considerada pela crítica especializada como um dos expoentes da literatura infantojuvenil brasileira, tendo sua produção nesse segmento sido publicada desde o início da década de 1980 até o momento presente, ainda é bastante assistemático o estudo da fortuna crítica sobre a obra da escritora. O presente trabalho toma por objeto uma amostra significativa da produção acadêmica sobre a produção literária da escritora, debruçando-se tanto sobre dissertações e teses que analisam a obra infantojuvenil de Marina Colasanti quanto aquelas que se voltam aos textos literários que têm sido endereçados prioritariamente aos leitores adultos, considerando-se que, por vezes, esses dois universos literários se apresentam mesclados. Vinte trabalhos acadêmicos constituem o corpus deste trabalho, tendo sido identificado por meio do Banco de Dados da Capes e da consulta a bibliotecas físicas e virtuais de diversas Universidades. Do ponto de vista metodológico, o corpus recebeu um tratamento homogêneo para a coleta de dados, tendo sido submetido a uma grade (ou "tabela") composta por 15 diferentes categorias que orientaram o estudo de cada tese ou dissertação. Essa análise sistemática propiciou que, como resultado da pesquisa, se tenha chegado a uma espécie de balanço sobre a fortuna crítica, em que é possível divisar quatro principais tópicos de que se ocupam os estudos críticos sobre a obra de Marina Colasanti, segundo diferentes perspectivas teóricas: o específico feminino; o mito; a linguagem poética; e o amor / Abstract: Although Marina Colasanti (1937) is considered by the critics as one of the exponents of Brazilianchildren and youthful literature, and having her production, in this segment, publishedsince the outset 1980s until this moment, still is very unsystematic the study of literary criticismon the writer's work. This work takes as object a significant sample of academic productionabout the literary production of the writer, leaning on dissertations and on theses that analyzethe Children's and the youthful work of Marina Colasanti, as those that turn to literarytexts that have been priority addressed to adult readers, considering that, sometimes, these twoliterary universes are shown merged. Twenty academic papers constitute the corpus of thiswork, it has been identified through the database Capes and the query at physical and virtuallibraries of various universities. From a methodological point of view, the corpus received ahomogeneous treatment for data collection, have been subjected to a grid (or "chart") composeof 15 different categories that guided the study of each thesis or dissertation. Orientadora: Maria do Rosário Longo Mortatti / Banca: Estela Natalina Mantovani Bertolleti / Banca: João Luís Cardoso Tápias Ceccantini / Banca: Rosa Fátima de Souza Chaloba / Banca: Rodrigo Pelloso Gelamo / Resumo: Nesta tese, apresentam-se resultados de pesquisa de Doutorado em Educação da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências da Universidade Estadual Paulista, campus de Marília-SP, vinculada à linha "História da literatura infantil e juvenil" do Grupo de Pesquisa e do Projeto Integrado de Pesquisa "História do Ensino de Língua e Literatura no Brasil", ambos coordenados por Maria do Rosário Longo Mortatti. Com os objetivos de contribuir para a compreensão de uma história da literatura infantil no Brasil, focaliza-se a produção escrita do jornalista, escritor e historiador Leonardo Arroyo (1918-1985) sobre e de literatura infantil. Mediante abordagem histórica, centrada em pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, desenvolvida por meio dos procedimentos de localização, recuperação, reunião, seleção e ordenação de fontes documentais e leitura de bibliografia especializada, elaborou-se dois instrumentos de pesquisa nos quais estão contidas as referências de textos de e sobre Leonardo Arroyo e as referências de texto de Leonardo Arroyo de e sobre literatura infantil. Dentre os textos localizados, foram selecionados para análise da configuração textual o conjunto de textos referênciados no segundo instrumento de pesquisa por serem os mais representativos em relação aos objetivos da pesquisa. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: In this thesis, we present results of a PhD in Education from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences of the Universidade Estadual Paulista, Marília-SP campus, linked to the "History of Children and Youth Literature" line of the Research Group and the Integrated Project of Research "History of Teaching Language and Literature in Brazil", both coordinated by Maria do Rosário Longo Mortatti. With the aim of contributing to the understanding of a history of children's literature in Brazil, it focuses on the written production of the journalist, writer and historian Leonardo Arroyo (1918-1985) on children's literature. Through a historical approach, centered on documentary and bibliographical research, developed through the procedures of localization, retrieval, meeting, selection and ordering of documentary sources and reading of specialized bibliography, two research instruments were elaborated in which are contained the references of texts Of and about Leonardo Arroyo and Leonardo Arroyo's text references and about children's literature. Among the localized texts, we selected for textual analysis the set of texts referenced in the second research instrument because they are the most representative in relation to the research objectives. This analysis made it possible to understand that Leonardo Arroyo 's written production of and about children' s literature presents aspects of a certain conception of children 's literature that are directly related to the movement of constitution of this literary genre as a subject of research and field of specific knowledge in the Brazil (MORTATTI, 2011). It also allowed us to understand that Arroyo contributed to the ordering and systematization of a version of the history of children 's literature that has not been challenged until the present day and also with the formulation of a concept of children' s literature as a cultural production destined to the infantile... / Doutor
