Nowadays, people spend lots of time in digital worlds, such as social media and the internet. Their product purchasing decisions are influenced by this digital world. As a result, when looking around the house, lots of physical products, from utensils to giant furniture are sometimes not the ideal choice for fitting into the space or users’ need. People are usually more fascinated by product appearance. However, after a brief period of time, they may get bored and eventually abandon the product. Due to the fact mentioned above, I, as a designer, want to explore a different route to design products so that they can be more significant and meaningful to people’s lives. After a lot of research, I found that human experience and ritual can provide very helpful guidance on product development. Based on the research and findings, my lounge chair is designed to prove my design thinking. This paper focuses on the development of the lounge chair from concept sketch to computer modeling to the actual prototype and finishing.

Esta investigación se realizó en el ámbito de la ciudad de Chiclayo, que se encuentra dentro de la región de Lambayeque, donde se ha evidenciado la falta de nuevas propuestas de entretenimiento. La investigación tuvo como objetivo, conocer la realidad de la calidad de satisfacción que tienen los clientes hacia Bali Bar-Lounge. El diseño de la presente investigación fue descriptivo y se encuentra dentro del tipo de investigación cuantitativa la cual la cantidad de muestra es de personas. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó la técnica de gabinete: fichas bibliográficas, textuales, resumen y comentario; además, la técnica de campo, a través de: encuestas y entrevistas. Los datos fueron procesados mediante el programa “Excel 2010”, donde se usaron tablas de frecuencia y gráficos estadísticos, los cuales sirvieron para evidenciar y contabilizar correctamente los resultados, consecutivamente el análisis y su respectiva interpretación. En el presente proyecto, se indagó sobre la manera en que se está desarrollando y creciendo estas nuevas tendencias de bares en el Perú; también se abarcó los distintos factores que intervienen en esto, tales como la calidad de servicio, la infraestructura de los bares, entre otros. / Tesis

在台北設立一家多元文化咖啡廳，打破文化藩籬，提供來自各國的人交流空間。 / The gradual increase of foreigners and locals learning foreign languages in Taiwan is evident. The number of foreign residents in the country has increased in the last 8 years to almost 3.5 times from around 27,000 in 2006 to more than 92,000 in 2014. As the country quickly opens up to foreign cultures, cultural barriers still remain an issue. Tearing down cultural barriers between foreigners and locals seems like an ideal. Unfortunately, not many places offer alternatives to address this issue. CultureLink is a café/lounge that comes as a solution to this problem, offering a suitable platform endorsing cultural expression and exchange between foreigners and locals interested in other cultures, allowing them also to practice a newly acquired language outside a classroom setting through interactive activities and events. CultureLink’s first establishment will be located in the city of Taipei. Our revenue sources are based on both products sold within our establishment and arranged cultural events and services. Products will include food such as sandwiches, salads, and desserts, and beverages like coffee, beer, and wine. Our cultural events and services will include karaoke, dancing lessons, language courses, movie nights, multi-cultural nights, and a buddy program. Our key success factors comprise promoting interaction between locals and foreigners, having a high degree of community involvement, enhancing the customer experience, and a continuous improvement mentality. Our financial analysis proves the project to be profitable and desirable under its assumptions.

Pateikiami trys modulinių laukiamojo baldų variantai. Pagrindinė medžiaga, iš kurios padaryti baldai, yra plastikas. Plastikiniai baldai patogūs, juos paprasta prižiūrėti, lengva pernešti iš vienos vietos į kitą, ir jie yra pigesni. Norint pakeisti baldų išdėstymą nekils problemų. Šiame projekte nėra prisirišama prie plano, moduliniai baldai projektuoti oro uosto laukiamojo salei. Tačiau juos galima pritaikyti ir kitose viešose erdvėse kaip traukinių, autobusų stotis ir t.t. Atrinktos penkios idėjos, iš kurių trys galutinai išplėtotos. Visuose trijuose variantuose suprojektuotas šviečiantis modulis, centrinis akcentas su vandeniu, ir galimybe atsisėsti. Pirmajį variantą sudaro šviečiantis elementas bukam kampui, metalinis elementas stačiam kampui, plastikinis elementas smailiam kampui, plastikinė kilpa, šiukšliadėžė, centrinis akcentas. Centrinis akcentas jungia grindis ir lubas, jame įrengtas LED apšvietimas, tekančio vandens atkarpa. Antrajį variantą sudaro koriuko formos elementai – elementas atsisėsti be atlošo, šviečiantis elementas atsisėsti su atlošu, elementas su jame pasėta žole, šiukšliadėžė, centrinis akcentas. Centrinis akcentas suprojektuotas iš skirtingų dydžių korio formos marmuro plokštumų, jame įrengtas apšvietimas ir vandens telkinys. Plastic furniture is comfortable and cheaper. It is easy to handle and move from one place to another. Therefore the change of furniture arrangement does not cause any problems. This project does not accurately follow the plan; modular furniture was designed for the airport departue lounge, but it can be adjusted to use in other public space, such as ralway or bus station, etc. Five ideas were chosen and three of them were developed till the end. All three variations include a luminous module as a central part with water and sitting possibility designed. The first variation consists of luminous element for a blunt corner, metal element for a sharp corner, plastic element for an acute corner, plastic loop, litterbin and a central part. Central part ties in a floor with a ceiling, it includes LED ilumination and running water segment installed. The second variation consists of the comb form elements – sitting element without a backrest, luminous sitting element with a backrest, element with a grass inside it, litterbin and a central part. Central part is designed using different sizes of the comb form marble flats with illumination and water body installed. The third variation consists of the sitting part, luminous element, litterbin and central part. Central part includes a fountain with wide edges to sit on. Illumination is installed under the sitting part.

La población de Lima metropolitana se caracteriza por tener un ritmo de vida ajetreado que lleva a elecciones de comida rápida y muchas veces poco saludables, que tiene como consecuencia el aumento de índices de sobrepeso u obesidad. En la actualidad se ha observado un aumento de la preocupación de las personas sobre su salud y alimentación y se ha evidenciado por el aumento de locales que ofrecen servicios y alimentos saludables en la ciudad. Sin embargo, según nuestro estudio de mercado no hemos encontrado que esta tendencia haya llegado a los locales de entretenimiento nocturno como son los bares o lounge-bar. En el presente trabajo planteamos un plan de negocio que incluye alimentación saludable, entrenamiento y que busca rescatar las interacciones interpersonales perdidas por el aumento del uso de la tecnología mediante la diversión basada en juegos lúdicos. “Cheers Lounge-bar” es un espacio innovador que busca la comodidad del cliente y promueve un estilo de vida saludable. / Lima city's population its characterized by a busy lifestyle that leads to unhealthy fast food choices, with increased obesity and overweight index. Nowadays, there has been an increased concern about health and nutrition and there has been an increased amount of locations in the city that offer healthy food and services. However, according to our market research, we haven't found that this trend has reached nightlife venues such as bars or lounge-bars. In this work we propose a business plan that includes healthy eating, training; that seeks to rescue the interpersonal interactions lost by the increase in the use of technology through fun and playful games. In this thesis, I have explored the possibilities of what furniture can look like on a moon base. How they will be made and what resources to use. What will the living conditions be like and why producing on a faraway place is important for future interstellar missions. By combining art and design, I will present a realistic concept that fits the need of the astronauts stationed on the moon and know what one might need when on a moon station.

The objective of the diploma thesis is to design and check a load-carrying steel structure of departure lounge in Ostrava. The building has a rectangular plan with dimensions of 45x63m. Height of the building at its heightest point is 13m. First variant composes of trussed girders and purlins. Spatial rigidity is achieved by bracings. Second variant is a flat space frame. The design of joints, column anchorage and drawings has been made for variant 2.

Sports center in Hradec Králové. The Sports center area accommodates various sport opportunities such as: squash, fitness area, climbing wall, sauna, massages and a possibility for other activities. The Sports center also includes refreshments – a with summer garden overlooking the grounds. It is two stories high, climbing wall is three stories high and squash is 1,5 m below the ground made with brick system Heluz with flat roof. There is a comfort for the visitors thanks to the air-conditioning in the object.
