This diploma thesis is focused on the identification of needs of workers employed in a retail network in the field of sale of goods and services. The research is based on the international method of questioning VSM94 and personal interviews. The output of this thesis is a detailed analysis, which became the basis for unraveling the drawbacks of the conteporal state of the described problem and also the basis for the proposal of solution.

A proposta deste trabalho foi desenvolvida por meio de pesquisa qualitativa, com a realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas com o diretor da DIRE (Diretoria Educacional) da Regional, os gestores escolares, os especialistas (pedagogos) e os professores de Matemática do referido segmento. Também foi realizada a análise de documentos oficiais divulgados pelo SIMAVE e CAEd – centro de estudos responsável pela sistematização e divulgação dos resultados das avaliações do PROEB. A partir das constatações, é proposto um Plano de Ação Educacional: a extensão do Programa de Intervenção Pedagógica (PIP)/Ensino Fundamental para o Ensino Médio, denominado PIPEM. O Plano é composto de sugestões pedagógicas para as equipes gestoras, com o objetivo de auxiliá-las para uma apropriação mais eficaz dos resultados, a fim de que os professores possam refletir e desenvolver estratégias diferenciadas de ensino em sala de aula. / This work aims to analyze how the management staff of two schools, located in Belo Horizonte city, that belong to the same Education Regional Superintendence (SRE) receive the Mathematics external assessment results, in special, the results of the external evaluation of the Assessment Program of the Public Basic Education System (PROEB) and how those managers pass the results to their secondary mathematics teachers. The purpose of this study was developed by a qualitative search, using semi structured interviews, with the Regional Board of Education´s director, school managers, specialists (pedagogues) and mathematics teachers, whom work in the secondary school. An official documents analysis, divulgated by SIMAVE and CAEd – a study center that is responsible for the systematization and dissemination of PROEB results, was conducted. Going from the findings, an Education Plan of Action is proposed: an extension of the Pedagogical Intervention Program (PIP) of the Primary Education to High schools, being, therefore, denominated PIPEM. The Plan is composed by pedagogic suggestions to the management staff, with the objective of helping them in a more efficient appropriation of results, in order to the teachers become able to reflect and develop differentiated teaching strategies in their classrooms.

A successful adaptation, gaining self-esteem and managing the scope of activities specified for the given work position requires an efficiently set up induction process that takes into account organizational needs, needs of employee groups and individual needs of new staff members. This process should thus be controlled and systematic. The diploma thesis covers such topics and it is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with essential terms associated with the topic of induction, it presents principles and methods to achieve an efficient employee adaptation and to set up this process so that it is beneficial to the employees as well as to the entire organization. The thesis describes important areas and components of the induction system that must be considered when it is designed. The thesis addresses the topic of employee manual which should provide new employees with answers to basic questions regarding their adaptation to the new environment and work.
