In this disertation nonlocal boundary problems are analysed. In the chapters 1, 2 and 3 the Sturm-Liouville problems with nonlocal integral and two-point boundary conditons are analysed. We investigate how the spectrums of these problems depend on the boundary condition parameters. The chapter 4 of the dissertation investigates the stationary problem with nonlocal conditions. The stability and convergence in energy norm of finite difference schemes that approximates stationary problem with various types nonlocal conditons are investigated. In the chapter 5 finding of the solution of modular parabolic problem with one nonlocal boundary condition is reduced to solution of second type Volterra integral equation.

Darbe išnagrinėti du paskolų grąžinimo metodai: paskolos grąžinimas amortizaciniu metodu ir fondo kaupimo metodu. Formulės išvestos rekurentiškai, sudaryti paskolos grąžinimo planai, nurodyta kaip susidaryti paskolos grąžinimo planus programa Microsoft Excel. / Two methods of returning the loan were being explored: the sinking - fund method and the amortization method. The formulas of constructing the schedules were being deduced recurrently. At the end of two sectors were indicated how to construct loan schedules in simple way by using the Microsoft Excel program.

Mūsų magistrinio darbo tema – „Pirmieji žingsniai į aktualinę matematiką“. Darbo tikslas – aktuarinės matematikos knygelės, skirtos vyresnių klasių vidurinių mokyklų, gimnazijų, licėjų, moksleiviams, rankraštis, kuris kartu būtų ir mokomoji medžiaga moksleiviams ir atsitiktinio skaitytojo pažintinė knygelė su gyvybės draudimu. Medžiagą knygelei atrinkome taip, kad dėstoma teorija atitiktų vidurinės mokyklos kursą, tema būtų aktuali, pateikta medžiaga, orientuota į Lietuvos draudimo rinkos dalyvį, sukurti uždaviniai būtų originalūs, patrauklūs, nuotaikingi, pateiktos medžiaga proporcingai išdėstyta laiko atžvilgiu, apimtis pritaikyta semestro programai. Pagrindinį dėmesį skyrėme paprasčiausiems gyvybės draudimo modeliams. Priklausomai nuo išmokos mokėjimo laiko paskutinį skyrių padalinome į du skyrelius: gyvybės draudimą, kai išmoka mokama iš karto po draudėjo mirties, arba taip vadinamą tolydų gyvybės draudimą, ir gyvybės draudimą, kai išmoka mokama draudėjo mirties metų pabaigoje, arba diskretų gyvybės draudimą. Kiekvienam atvejui analogiškai nagrinėjome tokius gyvybės draudimo modelius: viso gyvenimo gyvybės draudimą, n-metų terminuotą gyvybės draudimą ir n-metų kaupiamąjį gyvybės draudimą. Būtent uždaviniams ir pavyzdžiams knygelėje skyrėme didžiausią dėmesį ir daugiausiai laiko. Kadangi knygelė skirta Lietuvos skaitytojui, praktiniai uždaviniai taip pat orientuoti į Lietuvos draudimo rinkos dalyvius. Nors teorinė knygelės dalis tinka visų šalių (taip pat ir JAV, Rusijos... [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The purpose of this work is the description of actuarial mathematics in more common way for students of secondary school. With the basic topic – life insurance – we want them to take a look at a small part of big actuarial world. In fact, we introduce the readers with different ways of onetime instalment calculation, which depends on insurance benefit, terms of the contract, age and time of death of the insured. Regarding to time of death, we bring to the fore two cases of life insurances: insurances payable at the moment of death and insurances payable immediately on death. Later we mainly divide the theory into whole-life insurance, n-year term life insurance and n-year endowment life insurance. In our textbook we give descriptions of main actuarial values. Also there are plenty of problems to solve in order to soak up the given theory of life insurance. We do our best to simplify the readers’ approach to actuarial mathematics.

Prekių ženklų (brand‘ų) grafika ne mažiau nei pati prekė daro poveikį vartotojams – įkvėpia, inspiruoja ir aktyvuoja įvairias psichologines galias. Ryšys tarp psichologinės, neapčiuopiamos prekės ženklo pusės ir tas savybes vaizdu įkūnijančios grafikos nėra paprastas. Vartotojiškame pasaulyje jis veikia kaip tiksliai suprogramuotas manipuliacijos mechanizmas ir vartotojo suvokiamas išmoktais reikšmių kodais. / Graphics of the brands exerts no less influence on the users than the commodity itself – it inspires, incites and activates different psychological powers. The link between the psychological, intangible side of the brand and graphics embodying these features by means of an image is not simple. In the consumer world it operates as an precisely programmed mechanism of manipulation and is perceived by the user in terms of the learned codes of meanings.

We analyse the estimates of the distribution of the extreme values. The results are shown for identically distributed random variables, nonidentically distributed random variables and many-dimentional random variabes. In this paper we prove the theorems, where analogical estimates for density of extreme values are obtained. We analyse them for identically distributed random variables (linear and non-linear normalization).

This diploma thesis called The use of GeoGebra programme in mathematics teaching deals with possibilities to share and use materials made in GeoGebra programme. The introduction focus on general using of digital technology in lessons. The next chapter concretizes the dynamic software and the GeoGebra programme. The major part is devoted to forming GeoGebraBook online, its possibilities and their practical examples. The online publication GeoGebra in mathematics with concrete materials is a part of this thesis. The conclusion evaluates the experience acquired from running the GeoGebraBook and Facebook.

Práce spojuje výklad objektivní a subjektivní stránky vědy, specificky orientované v oblasti pravděpodobnosti, její matematizované teorie i jejího chápání v běžném životním úzu. Ukazuje paradoxní a aporetické zdroje matematických základů pravděpodobnosti a možná východiska k jejich urovnání. Dále předkládá empirickou stránku pravděpodobnosti a ukazuje s pomocí Kantova revolučního pojetí matematiky možnost překlenutí rozštěpu teorie a empirie, o nějž teorie pravděpodobnosti a statistiky především usiluje. A konečně: nestaví do nesmiřitelného postoje různá pojetí počtů pravděpodobnosti, protože každý z nich se zabývá různým regionem empirické sféry vědy, a tím jim poskytuje rovnoprávnost v použití.

TITTLE: Mathematics on the chessboard AUTHOR: Jiří Šperl DEPARTMENT: The Department of mathematics and the teaching of mathematics SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Antonín Jančařík, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The main subject of my thesis is mathematical problems on the chessboard using chess pieces. The work aims to demonstrate how a secondary school student would approach and solve several typical mathematical tasks of this nature. Consequently, it outlines ways to incorporate chessboard mathematical problems and exercises in mathematical classes. Moreover, the thesis includes a compact collection of solved problems on the chessboard that can serve as an inspiring source of unconventional mathematical tasks in conventional mathematical education. My own mathematical research forms a major part of the thesis. The research was conducted as a series of tests in three school classes. In order to achieve a high de- gree of objectivity classes of students with different specializations were selected to take part in the tests. The participating classes were also of different age groups. The theoretical part of the thesis takes a look at the past of the subject and presents several interesting historical problems concerning the mathematics on the chess- board. Šiame darbe analizuojama funkcijų svarba matematikoje. Atlikta kompiuterinių programų skirtų funkcijoms braižyti analizė. Darbe supažindinama su sukurtos priemonės funkcijų savybių atvaizdavimui paskirtimi, struktūra ir turiniu. Pristatoma sukurta svetainė, kurioje bus talpinama kompiuterinė priemonė. Pateikiama mokinių apklausos rezultatų analizė po priemonės išbandymo. Atlikus darbą padarytos išvados, kad priemonė gali būti naudojama 9 klasės funkcijų savybių mokymui ir mokymuisi. Priemonė pasižymi savybėmis, kurios yra patrauklios mokiniams, pagerinančios žinių įgijimą bei jų tikrinimą, skatina mokytis. / The paper analyses the importance of functions in mathematics. The analysis of software used for graphing functions has been performed. The paper presents the purpose, structure and content of a programme designed for graphing the features of the functions. Also a newly made site where the computer programme is going to be hosted is introduced. What is more, the analysis of the results of student survey after the follow-up testing of the programme is presented. The conclusions made after completing the research proved that the programme can be used in order to teach and learn the features of functions in the ninth form. The programme has properties that are attractive to students; this improves knowledge acquisition and examination as well as student motivation to learn.
