An adjustment of the IP stack to a microcontroller has been attempted.The Ip stack manages IP traffic, which occurs through incomingoutgoing data packets, and these packets are attempted to be storedwith call buffers instead of current implementation. Programming wasdone in C, and a lot of time was spent looking through currently usedcode in order to better understand how it functioned. Data packetswere then sent from a computer to the microcontroller, and by printingout variable locations and sizes, an understaning of how the stackworked and were data were stored, could be reached.The project led to the insight that the project was more difficultthan first estimated, the reason being that much of the software wasbased on the handling of data packets. The project resulted in anincreased understanding of how the adaptation can be implemented, andhow the current stack actually works.

[pt] Este trabalho descreve parte de um controlador digital para um goniômetro de difração, usado na determinação dos elementos presentes em uma amostra de material por meio de difração de raios X. O processo de análise é sumariamente descrito, de modo a evidenciar as funções que o controlador deve realizar. Baseado nestas funções, a estrutura do programa de controle é discutida e os problemas de sua implementação, em um microcomputador de uso geral, são examinados. Os problemas de entrada e saída de dados dão discutidos e as rotinas de conversão são apresentadas. Finalmente, os problemas de interface de circuitos e suas soluções são apresentadas e discutidas. / [en] This work describes part of a digital controller for a goniometer, used to determine the components that are present in a material sample by means of diffraction of X rays. The process of analysis is briefly show to make clear the performance expected for the controller. Based in the functions the controller should achieve, the Control Program structure is argued and the problems of its implementation in a microcomputer are examined. The problems that apper in input-stream data and output data-stream are ergued and conversion routines are presented. Finaly, the problems of interface of circuits and their solutions are presented andargued.

This thesis deal with the audio preamplifier with input selector. It describes all designed parts of this device. It selects and describes all suitable components. Describes the whole process of electronics design in this device. Then describes the design, manufacture, assembling and testing of the PCB. In conclusion it shows the achieved results and electrical parameters of the device.

This master thesis deals with designing of a recuperative converter system and auxiliary circuits that extend the life of the automotive battery by using supercapacitor as a source of power when starting a car using the start-stop function. The microcontroller is used to measure important circuit values and control the output current of the converter.

This work deals with analysis of protocol APRS Automatic Positioning System for telemetry. There is analyzed the structure of the most important frames and their application. It discusses the processing of GPS data and subsequent modulation of the selected frequency. This work also describes and discusses the proposed peripheral devices and the used firmware.

This thesis deals with study of materials needed for proposing and implementation of the industry state indicator. In the theoretical part there are describe all used components including calculations. Then there is a description of the communication interface used on the indicator. The theoretical part is then followed by a description of MODBUS protocol. The practical part is divided into a few sections. First one decribes the implementation itself together with the idicator activation. Second one describes the programme equipment of microcotroller. The conclusion is about description of the application testing.

Based on binocular vision the human eye is capable of generating the observed spatial perception of the object. Nowadays 3D imaging of two-dimensional surface is in vogue especially in the cinema industry. However, 3D imaging is gradually getting into other industries especially in other parts of everyday life (advertisements, presentations, entertainment ...). 3D images can be created in various ways, some of which are detailed in this master´s thesis. This thesis deals with the description and the drawing up of a 3D display which provides a three-dimensional image without using auxiliary objects such as glasses. The display unit produces a three-dimensional image at a fundamental level, which consists of providing high-speed rotation of the display and creates the current portion of the object in specified sections.

In order to solve the College of Engineering and Computer Science facility access problem, an automated system that provides exterior doors with a time schedule and allows authorized users to gain access to the facility after hours was developed. A microcontroller based system has been designed to interface with a personal computer. The system designed within this thesis can be used as a starting point for multiple facility access control systems. This thesis will describe the design, integration, test, and final delivery of a facility access system that incorporates the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller, a magnetic card swipe reader, and software developed in Microsoft Visual Basic .Net to provide a reliable and robust system for the College of Engineering and Computers Sciences needs.
