Morfologické změny obličeje dospělých mužů a žen během stárnutí / Morphological changes of adult human face during aging

Čiháková, Lucie January 2016 (has links)
Processes of biological changes of organism over time distinctly manifest themselves in a face morphology. The present study age changes are observed as shape and size changes of transversal dates of surface 3D virtual models of faces of 443 women and men (22-88 years old) devided into six age groups in decade. Differences in faces among each age group with respect to the sex were investigated and a sexual dimorphism and its gradual progress with the age using methods of geometric morphometrics (coherent point drift - dense correspondence algorithm, principal component analysis, per vertex t-test, shell-to-shell deviation). A significant difference among age categories was observedd both in shape as well as in form of the face. The faces of women and men were becoming wider with age and convexity was decreasing at the same time. A decline of the whole forehead and of the profile of the men's nose was observed, whereas the women's foreheadwas getting bevel due to the decline of the top part and a profile of the nose wasn't changed with the age. On contrary, the men's chin was unvarying with the age, while the women's chin was sliding out foward. There was observed a distinct decline in the front part of a upper jaw with the both sex. It was found out that after the seventh life decade the face gets...

Vývoj metody termoporozimetrie polymerních prášků / Development of method thermoporosimetry polymer powders

Urbánková, Radka January 2012 (has links)
Thermoporosimetry is a technique to determine small pore sizes based on melting and crystallization point depression. The temperature shift was measured by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Development of thermoporosimetry was carried out on silica with a well-characterized narrow pore size distribution. Several parameters were studied, which a have a direct influence on melting and crystallization point depression (for example: a quality of the solvent, filling the pores with the solvent, time and frequency of centrifuging, superfluous solvent removal conditions, etc.). The optimum conditions for the thermoporosimetry method were developed using high porosity silica. The optimized experimental conditions found for silica were applied to polypropylene powder with much lower porosity. Several polypropylene powders were synthesized using different polymerization catalysts and their porosity determined. Polymer powder morphology and structure was characterized by standard methods. Powder porosity obtained by thermoporometry, gas sorption, and BET methods was compared.

Mechanické vlastnosti smršťovacích LLDPE fólií v závislosti na jejich složení / Influnce of chemical composition on mechanical properties of LLDPE stretch film

Vojáček, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
Thesis summarizes the problems of production and use of stretch film. The change of strength, ductility and relative relaxation effect in different times of drawing from role in three weeks was observed. Further, change of strength and ductility due to changes in the rate of deformation, exposure to accelerated aging in a UV chamber and changes in the loading direction were observed. Mechanical tests were realized on a tensile tester, relaxation tests on DMA and crystallinity changes were observed on the DSC. Relationship between chemical composition of stretch film and mechanical and thermomechanical properties were studied. It was found that chemical composition essential for stretch film properties. However, due to the impossibility to distinguish effects of chemical composition and process parameters was impossible to find clear relation describing this relationship.

Metody segmentace biomedicinských obrazových signálů / Methods for biomedical image signal segmentation

Krumpholc, Lukáš January 2009 (has links)
This work deals with methods of segmentation of biomedical image signals. It describes, sums up and compares representative methods of digital image processing. Segmentation based on parametric representation is one of the mentioned methods. So as the basic parameter can be chosen for example luminance and the final binary image is obtained by thresholding. Next described method is segmentation based on edge representation. This method can be divided into edge detection by the help of edge detectors and of Hough transformation. Edge detectors work with the first and second derivation. The following method is region-based segmentation, which can be used for a image with noise. This category can be divided into three parts. The first one is segmentation via splitting and merging regions, when the image is split and the created regions are tested on a defined condition. If the condition is satisfied, the region merges and doesn’t continue splitting. The second one is region growing segmentation, when adjacent pixels with a similar intensity of luminance are grouped together and create a segmentated region. Third one is watershed segmentation algorithm based on the idea of water diffusion on uneven surface. The last group of methods is segmentation via flexible and active contours. Here is described an active shape model proceeding from a possibility to deform models so that they match with sample shapes. Next I also describe method Snakes, where occurs gradual contour shaping up to the edge of the object in the image. For the final editing is used mathematical morphology of segmentated images. I aimed to meet methods of image signals segmentation, to cover the chosen methods as a script in programming language Matlab and to check their properties on images.

Detekce automobilů v obraze / Vehicle detection in images

Pálka, Zbyněk January 2011 (has links)
This thesis dissert on traffic monitoring. There are couple of different methods of background extraction and four methods vehicle detection described here. Furthermore there is one method that describes vehicle counting. All of these methods was realized in Matlab where was created graphical user interface. One whole chapter is dedicated to process of practical realization. All methods are compared by set of testing videos. These videos are resulting in statistics which diagnoses about efficiency of single one method.

Paralelní korpusový manažer / Parallel Corpus Manager

Kouřil, Jan January 2011 (has links)
The goal of diploma project was to implement parallel corpus manager, which can align parallel texts in different languages and insert them into corpus, where several more processing functions are provided. Program provides possibilities of automatic text alignment and its interactive editing. These aligned texts are then inserted into corpus. Program can work with multiple corpora, parallel corpus is allways identified by a couple of languages. In corpus, there are possibilities to search by many categories, view and edit particular selections, lemmatize and morphologically tag given texts, sort selections, import and export data, in many ways edit corpus for further easy navigation and add new expressions to managed dictionaries. Particular chapters describe introduction to corpus problematics, theory of aligning parallel texts, morphological text tagging and lemmatization, external tools used in program, most common subtitle formats and implementation solution of particular problems.

Přídavná jména v rámci lexika: Ke gramatice denominativních adjektiv ve francouzštině / Adjectival networks. On the grammar of French denominal adjectives

Strnadová, Jana January 2014 (has links)
in English This dissertation studies su xal derivation of adjectives from nouns in French. It is based on a lexicon of about 15, 000 adjectives, 40% of which may be considered deno- minal. I rst present the data under investigation. I describe the Dénom database, which was derived from large scale lexica. In order to assess the position of denominal adjectives in the more general adjectival system, I present a classi cation of French adjectives on the basis of their morphological properties. In the process, I spot cases where the fringes of the class of denominals are unclear, and question the distributional and semantic co- hesion of the class. I nally review di erent types of formal or semantic mismatches between the adjective and its base noun. In a second step, I present a study of the formal and semantic properties of a subset of denominal adjectives where the morphological relation between base and derivative is regular. This subset is selected on the basis of the type frequency of formal patterns of alternation between base and derivative. I describe the phonological and morpholo- gical properties of base nouns, with the aim of uncovering factors that play a role in the formation of adjectives. This leads to the observation of morphological niches, that is, cases where the presence of a...
